Thanks a ton for that offer G.. I hope I won't have to take you up on it. I'm gonna let em ride for a bit longer in the cloner and see what happens. I also took some new cuts from the flowering plants so we'll see if I can't salvage them. When it rains it pours.. I found one plant in the flower room with a few mites... I'm gonna have to bomb the room tonight and try and kill em before it gets too bad How did the p-bomb work for you garlic?

I have to say the urkles I'm doing in hydro are monsters... about 50 days veg got them to 2.5 feet and in 2 weeks in the flower room the're 3.5 feet.. never had em stretch more than 4" or so in soil so I'm pretty surprised at how they are stretching now. They are getting too tall for my room I'll show you some pics of those in a few days.

Mysta 177 The happy frog is good , but I have noticed that after about 2 weeks I really needed to start adding ferts. Those are some sweet looking plants bro did you make those crosses?

Gro Your TW's look alot better than mine. Mine have a pretty bad mite infestation right now, so I think that stunted their growth. The TW is the only plant that has a bad prob with mites right now.

Is you Afgooey a real stretch monster? Mine is.

The P-bomb worked great the only prob with it is that you have to keep using it to break the cycle of the mites. It only kills the live mites it doesn't kill the eggs. So every week or 2 you have to use the p-bomb again untill you kill all the eggs.

I can't wait to see those pics of the urkles!!

The first sign I saw that I needed to fert was the center of the leaves started to turn a light green. Ntrogen deficiency.

I have a hookup on the purple creams too. I will be growing some this winter. Nice looking plant.

The purplecream is a really nice yielder. I count 7 tops and I havnt even trained them. I hear if you trick the soil with dry ice it will turn purple. My buddy has one 2 weeks into flower and is going to try this Ill keep you posted.

I had some time this morning and decided to post some new pics. Growth has started again now that the fog has rolled in and cooled us down. Thw TW has been eaten by spider mites , but she has some new growth, and it looks like she is starting to flower.

The weather over here may be a help... a typical day is 70-75f and 50-60%
so I bet the plants are as comfy as we are :smile:... but...my buddy just found some pesty shit on that tw so it's gonna take some attention to get em before they get too bad. It's the only one with a prob so I guess she's not very resistant I haven't been able to see the gooey very often but she looks to be in controll, not getting too tall.

On the small amount of mites I found in my flower room I sprayed em with iso alcohol then hung hot shot no pest killers and I have not seen one alive since....fingers crossed. I neemed all the other stuff in there to help keep em off so I hope I'm good. I'm approaching day 30

Your plants look killer bro... looks like a good run for sure. I can't believe how tight the urkles are.. just solid. Have the screens and pots on wheels been working like you want? That's a killer idea.

Hey gro it has cooled way down here

My predator mites seem to be keeping the spider mites under control. I am not sure if I am going to add more predators or try spraying my plants with garlic and chili peppers. Dezy is trying the peppers now and has had some good results with it so far.

The urkles are tight as hell!! They don't grow too tall , but they are very tight. I hope that I will get a decent yield off of them?

The screens have been working great!!!! I have been doing a lot of training lately, but that is ok because I am able to control the height of my plants now. All of the screens are getting full light coverage, so no shaded area means more buds in the end I hope?

A few pics of yopur plants would be nice to see?????

How tall are yours now? I have been removing fan leaves that cover bud sites with no probs at all. They have tons of leaf so I don't think it harms them. Have you pruned em at all?

Controlling the height of your plants must be nice. No more 7 footers bent over in there eh?

I'll snap some pics tonight. Remember I mentioned I was using the light mover and the urkles node spacing was getting whack? They got up to 2.5 feet tall in 45 days of veg but they didn't look like urkles anymore. I put em in the flower room under the 1000hps and they stretched up to 3.5 tall The new growth looked normal again so I have some 2' tall tight noded urkles on top of a 1.5' tall stem but they are doing great.. you shall see tomorrow.

I'm not going to use a mover anymore in either room... gonna add another 1000 hps in the flower room...and run my t5's in veg. Hope my elec bill does not hit the roof too hard. my last one was over $600 and that's before I upgraded the a/c

My urkles are about 3.5 feet tall now. They stopped growing while it was blistering hot, but they are on the move again.

I haven't pruned them at all. I have been removing some of the bigger fans leaves to let light penetrate deeper though. I did tie them down a little about a month ago to let more light get into the middle of the plants. I am talking about my urkles.

I used a light mover once and that was the last time I ever used it again. For the amount of money that you spend on a light mover you can buy another light that will keep your plants happier and tighter. Oh yeah and increase your yield.

T5's look great , but i am cheap and use 4 foot shop light flourescents for veg. Adding another 1000 watt HPS will increase your yield greatly. The question is your yields are already huge what are you going to do with all the extra weed? J/K I know smoke it!!!!!!

dam gcg your erkels look just like mine but mine have buds all the way down them thats a keeper you better of kept a cut for this winter yea i tried the chili pepers and it don't work well not at least at the stage that mine where at but i got some regular safer soap and i am stciking to that it works at any stage you just got to keep an eye on them little bastards my veg room is clean now but will get a bomb and safer soap.my bloom room is going to get hit hard with the same take that you little shit heads die mofo die i need a patch that say's DEATH FORM ABOVE now i got some plants that hate any type of chems on them you all know the type burn city but this plan old safer soap not that 3 in 1 crape works.i looked under all my leafs and found only dead bugs so thats what i say to use consider me sold.

You gotta a lot growin on my friend, they're looking good. The TW is not a very insect resistance strain from what I've read, but can handle a beating if need be. Hard to believe how tight the urkle is!

Heya twisted! - yes the BBWxAfghani seeds are up for rotation this fall, definitely will log it and you know where I'll be. Right here, although I'll probably start a new thread for this next grow season. This coming year hopefully will be the year of seed plants, chasing down some good Moms...

OJ - I'm in the same neck of the woods on the left coast as gronut, garlic and twisted. A 600 HPS, 250 MH, 6" Elicent fan, couple small fans - more than tripled my electric bill to 4-450 a month. I was shocked - expecting an increase of 50-100 at most, definitely less than double. Gronut, I feel for ya bro - wish solar electric was cheaper I'd install it just for the grow!
