Sleepy The mites were inevidible(sp) I live in the country and my plants would have gotten sooner or later. I will have fun killing those bastards though.

VT that is some good news my friend. Thanks for the heads up bro. Just because you aren't going to be posting on the med site anymore doesn't mean you have to be a stranger around here. You are always welcome on my threads.

OK a few things to note.
1. I haven't watered much since I transplanted because the pots are so big.

2. My Trainwreck is already starting to flower. I am not sure what is up with that? I didn't think it would start flowering until the end of August? Is this normal or is something going wrong? Either way the leaves around the buds are already getting frosty

In the first pic I tried to get a closeup of the TW , but my camera sucks.

Was the trainwreck a clone..that may explain it..I was talking to a guy on chat that lives near the equator..he veg'es indoors..
as soon as they go outdoors they start to flower..any time of the year..as far as they plant is concerned the light cycle just got shorter..

Your gonna have to get a good camera with a macro lens..and get some battle shots of the mite wars..

The plants look like they're doing well..

Are they in the shade anytime during the evening? I know my tomatoes have evening shade and this has effected thier growth.

Hey GCG Things are goin' well....I see the TW is already bustin' out the baby nugs....I can't wait to see how far behind the TW the "Afgooey" flowers for you. I just uploaded some Afgooey flower shots on my thread....

I started some Mendo Madness seeds but I think it is Outdoor strain....so interesting point on plants flowering when goin' outdoors from indoor...I have seen that twice...twice I have placed plants outside (from indoors in Cali) and they started budding immediately

I have an Urkle also...looks like yours....can't wait to see how she does outside....You're gonna get a fat yield from that Afgooey I'll bet....all the plants are lookin nice and healthy GCG...nice work....looks like Afgooey is the strongest one in there almost... PN2Pyes the TW was from clone, but I had it outside for 2 weeks before I put it in the GH. I guess the shed might be getting too much shade? Oh well my other plants are doing great. Thanks PN2P.

minds_I Yes my Gh does get shaded around 7:30 at night and the light doesn't hit it until around 10:00 AM. I could probably use more light , but the shade really helps with the heat. So I guess i will have to deal with what i have.

VTHey Bro I'm not very happy about the TW flowering already. I was hoping for it to fill the screen before it started to flower. Oh well I still have other plants. I was more concerned with the urkle doing this. My friend that I got it from said he had it under 18 hours of light indoors and it started to flower. Mine hasn't yet so I feel lucky. Oh yeah and she is growing into a real beast. The Afgooey is the strongest one right now. It has almost filled the screened already.

I hope you get them killed off soon... must be a pain in the ass. Your plants look great however and I think your gonna have a nice run. My buddy has a similar trainwreck that's also flowering in his backyard now :wink: but it's pretty big so no biggie. He'll get some goods off that. He's also got an afgooey going very well.

Hey Garlic, the next time you get mites or other bug problems. You need to do as your name-sake would. Take several cloves of garlic and cut them up, put them in a container of water, liter maybe. Let it marinate for, say a day. Strain it and pour the mixture into a pump sprayer, maybe add more water if needed. Then spray your plants and everything else in that greenhouse. Soak it down. Your grow WILL smell like garlic for a day or two but the smell will fade away and So will your bug problems. Mites and many other bugs Hate garlic. As it was explained to me, "Have your ever seen mites or white flys on garlic plants?" Have you ever seen any bugs attack garlic plants?

I may be dense, but would someone PM on which city is the garlic city? I'm lost on the this one.

Nice gH. Seems like you get plenty of light with just having an opaque roof. Do you have a link to last years grow in there?
