The Coco Gold looks well today after her first foliar yesterday and 200 ml of water with calmag epsoms and root stimulator, the pot weight is around 2.5kg wich is the same when i seed it

Yesterday i went and water the Mazarilla and Gorila again..they seem to take it well and i feel the pots heavier, but they already drank the water that the bottom perlite was holding..dunno if i should water them again today or wait a day or too..also i need to see how the Killer pot feels
When i say water they get 800ml 2 days ago and yesterday, the pots are 11l..since at this stage they should be drinking good how dunno how good would be to do it again.

Even if im feeling a urge to clip those middle fans that already got covered up by side branches and are covering lower branches from branches i dont think i will do it. They are healthy and functioning properly. If i manage to keep the airflow good i wonder if i need to worry about mold and how the lower branches of branches will grow..i feel would be more logical to clip those branches in the shadow instead of the leafs..
i mean, if they breath, sweat, eat from them, i guess taking the leafs off would overload the plant somehow? You can survive with one kidney but...

Anyone have an opinion if i should clean a bit the lower shadowed branches?

The humidifier is off for now. The weather improved a bit to better conditions (rh 50~60) and the girls raise the rh by themselves, im still controling the extractor by the rh so im saving on one more thing..if i could dial the light the best i could i would be saving even more. I didnt take the humidifier out because the weather reports in a few days temps and weather like spring, no clouds, i guess it will be on the dryer side again, if not, i will remove it to gain needed space.
Now the temps at night will be the same as the day, 24c, no more 22c, to see if somehow they remain perky instead of geting the Mazarilla in a deep coma state

The weather dried up again, low 30s during the day and as the sun sets the cold increases and the rh goes up to 60~70 for the rest of the night. Since i noticed the extract running much less i turned the humi again..

keep your light at the same height but get it turned up now the plants will accept it
it took me a bit of confidence building with the new light i thought i would have cooked mine
but as this was my first grow with the fce 3000 see what others think
it looks like triches starting on the gorilla
onwards and upwards mate :headbange

Thanks gizmo..
I did the opposite, i get the light closer and less powerfull.. now is at 50cm from the tallest girl and is at 75%, since they are running 18/6 i will see how they respond and continue from there if anything i give them sos dose of biobloom

I'll bet it's for supplemental CO2 ?,...

Just don't bring your barbecue inside the house.
That's a bit much,..

You'll wake up dead. Lol

I've got a pail of wine brewing in my grow as a CO2 supplement (as well as my personal intoxicant. lol)

I don't trust myself with fire. Lol

Dude!!
I think you're on to something!!

I have two fire safe fuel burning heaters and a lantern for winter camping.

The lantern is fine but if it gets knocked over, the fuel (kerosene/coal oil) can spill and the open flame can ignite it.

Screenshot_20220208-231831_DuckDuckGo.jpg

I also have a catalytic heater that burns camp fuel/naphtha and simply goes out if it's knocked over.
It only emits Co2 and water vapor. (it's like 98%efficient).
I have slept in a small 2 man tent with it burning all night.
You just leave the tent open a tiny bit to let fresh air in.

You won't die of carbon monoxide poisoning, but you could suffocate if you run out of oxygen.

Screenshot_20220208-232223_DuckDuckGo.jpg

You can also get a propane catylyzing heater which has an adjustable "flame"...

Screenshot_20220208-232309_DuckDuckGo.jpg

Or, you could stay with candles, and make it safe by enclosing it like this...

Screenshot_20220208-233027_DuckDuckGo.jpg

I didn't check into it but I assume that you poke holes in the top to let air in and keep stuff from falling into the flame.

You could put the Mason jar in a clay pot filled with river stones to work as a heat sink and keep it stable and relatively safe...

Adding Co2 can only help a plant as long as you can do it safely, simply, and cheaply.

Ikea has hanging "lamps" that look like old oil burning ones but are copies that accept tea candles and are made out of glass and metal. Get one of those. It lets the tea candle burns safe. Some burn for 4+ hours so you have to relit then quite often, but safety is very important.

My sister gave me this...

IMG_20220209_003843.jpg

I've only burned it once.
It bugs me.
It's front heavy !!

It just wants to fall over !!

I can't even cook water without it blowing up !

I don't want to deal with a fancy candle that's just itching to burn down my house 😫. lol

Wouldn't one of those co2 growbags be better and a whole lot safer
Tho buds idea is best
Brewing and growing together best of both worlds

I dunno dude,..
I've been known to be full of more crap than a Talapia from China.
lol

Brewing and growing together best of both worlds

Wine, Weed, and Grilled Fish

We need to find out, relatively speaking, how much Co2 a candle generates, and a 20 pail of wine makes, and a grow bag, so we can compare...

Seriously... Naked flames in the growroom is such a bad idea. You will burn your house down if you are not careful. If you want a cheap way to add CO2, go with what PC suggests and do some fermentation - you could even use a gallon bottle half filled with sugar solution and a pinch of bread yeast - it wont make nice booze, but will produce CO2 for a week or so.

We all can rest, i only did it to play a bit and because i was home the entire day and i kept checking it all the time to see if everything was good, i dont pretend to raise the co2 :D

buds, continue to brew bro, dont burn shit like i did even more in a thing that is prone to fall over.

But please everyone, continue brew ideas and we can find out something cool to use it :D

Today all the girls seem a bit droopy, i dunno if is because the closer light or because of the Rh because im running it at 60% since yesterday..

The happier girl is the usual one, the Killer, all prayable, but some big fan leafs seems to have an yellow tinge to them, right next to the petiole (?), any opinions? I feel they might be lacking something..
The Gorila newer leafs in the tops for example, they dont seem to get darker, they seem to have stopped getting darker some days ago.
The Mazarilla is also showing that same yellow tinge in the big fans.
The Rocky seems all green but a lighter healthy green but also she doesnt seem to be lacking nothing, at least for now, this one later in the day will get a good fungicide foliar.

Dunno, i think i will try to brew a tea with castings, Kalongs palm tree ashes and Powder (high in P) and see how they react, it will be my first time doing it too so it will be fun, i need to get to the china store and buy the bags. Even tho 2 waterings ago i gave them ashes and biobloom at 1ml/l besides the calmag at 3ml/l, but i only see the Gorilla darkening up a bit in the tops but at the same time i was powering up the light so i dunno what did what..

Either way i feel the more droopy may be a bit shocked from the closer light and ill wait a few days to see if they get better

Anyone think that they showing lacking in something? Or excess causing any sort of lockout?
