looks healthy! and so big!

Thanks! That's what the outdoor sun will make these plants!

I trimmed off 6 of the bottom secondaries coming off the bottom secondary branch. They were really small, don't get much light and wouldn't produce much bud. The 6 trimming are now rooting in pearlite!

Something to look forward to no doubt, I can't wait until I can stick these little guys outside and let nature take over.

tropical: your plants look nice, I can't wait until mine are that size.

Thanks. Be patient Grasshopper. Do you have enough light, air circulation, and ventilation in your cab? Do you have a moisture meter yet? You'll need it soon to make sure you don't over water. That's the most common problem.

I saw one at homedepot but didnt pick it up, should have since it was only a few dollars... there was a storage unit there marked half off and I am really tempted to go back and get it.

Oh, you plan to put them outside to flower? That's good. That's much easier than trying to bloom in a little cab. I like to flower indicas outdoors during the winter and spring. Then, I put the sativas out to finish in the summer and fall. You can have a harvest every month in the Sunshine State.

Up North, people get only one harvest per year. If a poacher or a swarm of bugs finds the grow, then everything is lost for the entire year. Even an early start to the fall rainy season can destroy the entire crop with mold. I'm going to try to take some extra clones next time and start putting plants in the backyards of my stoner friends and split the harvest with them. That will further diversify my portfolio.

I have 250 watts of MH light. That's probably equivalent to well over 1,000 watts of conventional lighting, more like 1,300. It's very nice for starting the plants so they don't get burnt by the sudden impact of the Sun when they go out.

Good luck.

Like I said, over watering is probably the most common Newbie mistake. Even if you manage to avoid that problem, you are bound to end up with a problem of some kind. When you come to this site to ask questions, it will be very helpful if you can tell them that you had the meter so you know your soil had a chance to dry out every time before you watered it again. That way, you can rule that problem out right away.

I will pick up the meter tomorrow, i hooked up the wireless thermo and found out that heat is still very much a problem, when i closed it up the temp reached 90deg.. hopefully the plants will be ok, i opened it back up and its dropping slowly, down to 80 right now.. they are on 12/12 so I am going to move them into another place for this cycle and start working on a new setup.

That's a wise decision on the moisture meter.

Why do you have those little seedlings on 12/12? Don't you want them to grow bigger? Wouldn't you like to keep a mom? We almost always start plants on 18/6 or 24/0 until we're ready to flower them. I would leave the cab open too. They don't need the dark period to be especially dark. A little ambient light doesn't hurt during veg.

Originally I planned to flower them indoors but then realised that outside would make more sense, I guess its time to switch them over to something else, 18/6 sounds good.

bored + :joint: =

this setup has added a fourth bulb and lowered temps about 5deg F so far, this is allowing me to get the plant pretty close to the bulb, hopefully I wont regret it, so far so good!
