The clones doing their thang in the pearlite. Then, the clones in the humidity bucket. They dont have big enough roots yet and will wilt outside the bucket.

Here are the clones! Took 6 of the small secondaries of secondaries at the bottom that would produce little bud, and cloned them in pearlite. I tossed out 2 because they didn't have any roots yet.

Here are the selected 4.
Clone1

Clone2

Clone3

Clone4

when you guys plant your outdoor seeds/clones

I usually put clones outside when they are at least 9" tall and rootbound in a 4" (five cup) container. If I'm going to grow them in a container, I will upcan to 8" (five quart) container a week before I put them outside. The photo below was taken about a week or two before the largest plant was put outside to flower.

Sativas flower best from July to October, so I grow indicas the rest of the year. We don't get any frost here in the southern end of the state, so that isn't an issue. There isn't any reason why you can't but plants outside every month and get 12 harvests.

say i planted some clones the middle of this month.. when would they harvest?

would i be better off starting them around april/may because it rains almost everyday..

i found a couple great outdoor spots that i want to grow about 4-5 plants at each

if you put them in flower now...they will be reverting back to veg mode at the end...middle to end of march is the end of season......then it's the begining of veg time outside...best of luck

ya see thats what i figured.

right now days are shorter.. come march days are longer.. this goes on until what july??

so you should start clones in march..they flower around july and done oct/nov??

i want to setup about 50 plants outside

How far north are you? I've never had a plant reveg on me down here in the southern end of the state. On the other hand, I've never put a pure sativa out in the spring either. I put a hybrid out in May and harvested it in July, so it flowered right through the summer solstice. That is the longest day of the year, it's in late June.

Indica plants do well in the winter and spring here in Florida. The problem with the daily rain is that it brings mold and pest problems. Sativa's resist the mold better, but they will tend to reveg in our spring, unless you go with an early strain, like TFD Early Durban or Early Pearl. Those are meant to flower when the days are still long. The closer you get to the equator, the less seasonal difference there is in day length. Miami is south enough that most strains, especially indicas, will flower right through the longest day of the year. The days never get that long here.

ive got my eye on some sour diesel

if i got a pack of 10 sour diesel and had them planted by end of feb.. when would they start to flower? it would be nice to be able to get clones from them and throw those in some outdoor spots

i know with indoors you can take clones like 3 weeks into flowering.. would this still be the case outdoors??
