I saw the championship game. I feel sorry for OSU. The Big Ten conference just doesn't have the speed to keep up with the teams from the south. OSU went undefeated in their conference only to lose to Florida this year and Miami last time.

Yeah, they are the reigning National Champs in both Football and Basketball at the same time. They are also the current number one in the basketball polls. How cool would it be for the basketball team to repeat and the baseball team to win too? By the way, are there any pre-season baseball polls yet?

Just another update on my winter plant. These shots are 5 or so days old. Since transplanting into a bigger pot, its gotten more green, stretch some more, and is shooting out tons of pistils.

Farmer Joe, thanks for the update. That looks good. Is it a one gallon container? What size is it in now? When will you induce bloom?

^ I believe I moved it into a 3 gallon container. I started it indoors under a 150watt HPS then placed it outside ~2 weeks ago... so its probably been blooming for 2 weeks, lol. It has already produced many pistils.

I'll take more pics and measurements tomorrow perhaps. Its an organic soil grow again.


I took 3 clippings for clones that are rooting now. I am probably going to trim off a few small secondary branches that are really close to the bottom because they will get very little light and are too far towards the middle of the plant. I'll probably use those for clones too.... not sure what I am gonna do with 6+ clones though!

I am only a few days into my first grow, made a mistake and killed three of the five plants, right now my oldest two are around 5 days old and look like this:


but I also have a few seeds I am still waiting to pop to replace what died.

right now I am just growing off of CFL in a rubbermaidish setup
