Fireknot farm 2016

Stone House

Yeah, I have a semi- shaded spot also. Several plants have new pre-flowers on them but no stacking yet.
Many local growers in my area are using Earth Juice products and recommending them.
It may be a mistake but I decided to try a couple of their products (flower only) as I expect the Vermifire in my 200 smart pots might need a little help at this point.
So last week I used EJ SeaBlast transition (8-32-14) at half the recommended strength, I also started using their EJ Catalyst instead of straight molasses.

Yea I was surprised to see my really sativa leaning blue dream start to flower. But it's only getting maybe 8-9 hours of sun... but I have others in the shade that aren't flowering so I can't make heads or tails of it.

Tess do you see a pattern at all with yours? Sounds like genetics since all the dragons fruit did it. Is that a cross with the red sap plants? Any red sap?

So there's no way I ran out of N If you didn't run out of N with half the crab meal. No idea what's up with the yellowing fan leaves.

man i've been hearing LOTS of these stories around sohum lately, guys who really know their shit have been having the same issues. full term/sun i mean. i had a couple start but they were pretty root bound, couple seeds and a couple clones before they got plugged in to the final bed or pools. i have more than i need so i just killed em. someone was saying that the weather has wider swings of temp inland, i'm on the coast and temps are pretty much the same this year.

Got 15 "dragon lady" outside, she's always one of the earliest in the garden, but this year she's gonna be done end of Sept instead of first week of October

14.25 hours of light this week here where I'm at...think its right on track. Thats interesting others notice similar behavior though.

Anyone else used mocha guano before?

What are other organic growers top dressing with right now?

I'm wondering if maybe a high N guano at first would be better and then use the mocha guano next week or something? Or maybe do a little blood meal and mocha guano together?

Might get some great white or something too.

Just did high n guano top dress this morning (6 cups each plant) on everything but the dragonladys, they got 12-12-2 pellatized seabird guano.

don't know anything about the mocha bat.
have you looked at myco genesis from aea (tanio)?
pretty sure you'd save quite a bit off money.
best math i could come up with was 3.33 tblspoons per 50 gallon.
i use it once a month with pepzyme c, also aea.
i don't remember the cost but i do know the last time i checked it's a waaaaaaaay better deal than anything you can buy at the hydro store.

I have a bag of that, last year i crushed it up kinda more powdery then chunky. U just leave them as is in the bag or have you tried crushing them up some before top dressing?

I left them pelletized. Although crushing isn't bad idea ..dusty as hell I bet lol.

After I applied aact this morning it seemed like the pellets would break down pretty quick.

What are other organic growers top dressing with right now?

I just top dressed the other day with EWC and Down To Earth All Purpose 4-6-2. I mixed it in with some lightweight bag perlite soil mix to help prevent caking on top of the pots. Watering with AACT once a week and a kelp, humic, microbial mix once a week.

Thanks guys, I bought 50lbs of seabird guano, pelletized, 12-12-2.5, with 6% Ca and 1.5% Sulfur. Im going to top dress it and water it in wednesday. Not sure if I bought enough...I'll probably just come up with an even way to divide it and use it all.

I might throw some ewc down too...never done that before.

I been using there Earth Juice Grow for a while now, its light at just 2-1-1. Recently we picked up some Earth Juice Elements Bloom liquid plant food 0-16-16. Im curious to give that a try this year
