Wait really? I ordered the $40 79" 250' too. They ship 60"? That must be why it's so cheap. The fuck.

Tess they're huge. Awesome job. You put your conduit pretty far out. I keep mine closer and then will use the top to drape a second layer of trellis. Hopefully it doesn't get too windy before they reach the trellis wall for support. Can't imagine it will.

Yeah original label tries to say 13FG 79" but it's covered up by one that says 59 or 60 either way I had the last w bundles come that way. Considering buying a 3280' roll which is roughly same price per sqft as 60"x250'

But realistically depending on how you use it, it might take you two lengths of 60" to cover something that could have been done with one length of 79" so it's not always a linear equation

I have bought 5 rolls this year, and every one is 79"........I would contact them about that.

Also got a thinner role, can't remember now. Maybe 48''.

Gracias amigo...the sky lotus on the end has poles a little further than the rest...it was one of the first ones I did...Ive considered pounding some in closer but I think they will stretch into it. I have more emt on standby if needed.

Trellis shipped...gotta go water the girls right now. Zen garden time.

Looks awesome Tess. what about the main tops in the middle? add bamboo to your poles, set some laterally also? Looks like those plants are taller then the poles already

Nope just gutted out the insides and bottoms...havent topped any plants...some just grow like giant eggs

So you only want shoots that are in a position to bud in the light?

Theres a 5' cage in there...basically everything was removed inside of it...leaves too...plus any weak lower stems.

I forgot you have the remesh cages. The conduit that far shouldn't be a problem then. I'm still pounding mine

Slow nickel- 1/2" 10' emt conduit is a little over $2, and 3/4 is a little over 3. 150 ft of remesh cage is $105. 5 ft diameter cages you can do the math plus hortonova trellis.

2x4" 100' Welded wire... 80/20=4$
EMT 3/4"... 2.80x4=11.2$
79"x750' Trellis... 120$/20=6$
Zip ties... 10/20=.5$

So up until this point approx 21.7$ per on the first 2 layers.

So, do you actually prune the top of the plants insides?

My plants are so f-in tall it's really hard to get on a ladder, then reach inside of my cages. I pruned the bottom and middle, and removed the weak branches just like you described. HOwever, I said F the tops. Almost broke my neck several times trying.
