Concrete remesh works best for caging IMO, and mrchocolate has it down exact. Excellent example of final structure needed for multi pound trees.

Bro that garden is going to be very hard to walk around in after July . congrats lol keep up the good work

Thanks theJointedOne and Noonin Norcal!

I've never grown plants this big so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm curious to see how big they actually get. I've been pounding in those poles and just sorta guessing where I should put them outside the mounds. Watering is starting to increase in volume/frequency. 50 gals every 5 days.

No topping...some strains kinda do it themselves. I'll get around to pruning next week maybe.

And now for some dank ass bubble hash...

I have been really liking the structure, and now flowers that are developing on my dep sky lotus's. Your look like they also have that great structure. Looking forward to July here, best of luck.

If you look in the last pic...front row...on the left is the sky lotus that reverted and stretched, plus it gets some shade. Then theres heaven mountain, and 2 more sky lotus on the right. (The three big ones behind are SA) Both short, eggshaped/bushy and tons of nodes with huge thick stalks... I have a few more out there that all look exactly the same. I'm stoked with it too....especially since its a known potent yielder. I have more SL out there than anything else.

dude, for the size trees you're going to have it looks to me like you need a ring of fencing on them the diameter they are now.
I see monsters in your future.

maybe a wrap of trellis net between two of the diagonal poles and the plant now then a boxing them in a few weeks?

great work so far keep me in mind for a trimming position...

Thanks :joint:

You mean like make an X?

I was going to just wrap around the sides and top but if there's a better way to do it I'm down.

I'll do another bamboo/hortonova layer if I have to later on.

i,m not sure if this has been talked about , your on page 80 so I'm not going back through . whats the security situation .

only you know your situation , and don't expect you to talk about it in the forum , time to plan ahead .

you never think its going to happen till one day it does . best be prepared even if its not expected . its long process waiting for plants to finish , dry , trim , pack , move

Wouldn't hurt to clean out the insides before you wrap them up and it becomes hella harder. You'll get vigorous growth and lots less schwill later on, plus more airflow

Stone House

It may have been mentioned before, I pound 4' rebar a foot or two into the ground and slide pvc over the rebar (like a hoop house). I think emt would work this way also, would be way easier than pounding emt I would think.

this.

ive been pruning my garden for a couple days now, got all the little inner bullshit cleaned up. afterwards you can see the difference in growth overnight

Yea, that's solid info from TJO.

I have been struggling with keeping up with feeding. My plants are eating everything thrown at them. Once I cleaned up some of the middles, the plants were able to focus their energy on new growth instead of maintaining old growth. Which helped lower my needed overall fertilizer intake.
