tess, looking good. I've got some repurposed smart pots growing veggies too lol. I'm trying ground cherries and sunchokes this year. Stoked about those.

Mendo, same deal here with peppers. What's up with those??? Happened last year, too.

Hey Tes. Everything is looking good for you, congrats. I was wondering if you top your plants or super crop along the way or do you just go natural like Shcrews? Thanks man and keep it up!

...bows...

I'm just going to let them do their thing without topping this year. It's amazing how fast they're growing right now! I didn't even need to pull the branches thru they did it themselves practically overnight.

And of course I broke the glass on my phone cam and it wont focus on things that are close. My girls got one I'll be using for a while but it's not as nice. Was the only thing I really even liked about it!

I decided to wrap my deer fence with chicken wire for reinforcement. There was a doe sleeping in my cabin. I saw it run out 4 separate times. I blocked that shit off and threw rocks at it trying to sneak back to see what I was doing. I'm ready for deer season already.

Gonna eat some ribs and listen to mr. projectile. Happy new moon motherfuckers c:

P.s. thats badass...I want to start growing grapes

Right on, thanks. I just started transplanting tonight, they are 2-3 feet, all Bodhi this year. I always top but might just let 'em go this time.

I have deer sleeping under my barn and in the tractor stall right now, trying to stay cool. I have to run 6' fence on my patch...dogs are actually the best for deer.

Im doing lots of veggies and fruit too. Your hard work is an inspiration to many. Keep it up!

Thx folks!

Check out leadsleds thread on compost tea extract. Great stuff! I just grew a beard and fed the garden with it. I used a tray and humidity dome. I found the trick to doing it here in this arid mountain climate is spraying it down with water every day like fresh cut clones not letting it dry out at all. Smells delicious! I just got a foliar tray going now too to hopefully hit them with in a couple days. Two gallons should be enough to do the whole garden right now I think.

So how often are ya'll using pepzyme-c? Only used it once at transplant a month ago so far.

Got some gingerberry to bottle...

tess, did you check to see if the beard was just bread mold or the legit stuff that MicrobeMan was saying? Any photos of the beard?

My experiment with leadsleds foliar compost tea extract recipe. I added kelp to it...which I dont think was the right thing to do...but it looks like it worked...here's the hyphae thru my little scope:
