I don't know why but it hurts me to see those plants so tightly caged with that 2x4 welded wire right off the bat.

yah you should pull the lateral branches outward thru the cages. looks like you did on some of them?

Gracias amigos. It's been 50 gals every 5 to 7 days. Tomorrow I'll give them a little in the morning as it's going to be hot as fuck. Watering takes me like 10 hours over the course of two days right now. Calcium metasolate and bacilius thuringiesis are being applied weekly. 1/2tsp of Mn on Sunday as I've taken two weeks off but will apply again weekly. I might blast them with an essential oil mix and dr bronners later as a preventative measure. That will melt any mite or aphid.

I have just been letting the plants do their thing but later this evening I'll pull some branches through. Bitches are just gonna have to deal with their cheapass corsets. :dunno:

My girls making ganja leaf smoothies right now with the culled greenhouse plants. One of the flowering space monkeys is making my house smell dank as fuck.

You have any pictures of the space monkies?

They're huge. I'm really curious to see the final sizes of all our plants with similar strains, different soil volumes, and start sizes. What are you spraying BT for? Do you already have cats? Didn't know anyone got them while vegging.

I like knowing that whenever those assholes even think about trying they will already be throwing up dead. Plus I've seen more flying larvae and moths this year than ever before. There was a big green fucker crawling on me in my bedroom last week too. Get 'em early and consistently less to worry about later.

My garden is growing well too, but yesterday I discovered 3 branches, each on different girls, with a small hole bored into them. On the outside of the hole appeared to be the regurgitated plant material.. I cut the 3 branches off, split them open with my knife, and found a 1 inch long worm inside, chewing up the inside of the branches... I've never had these before...Is a Bt worm and caterpillar spray the thing to do to prevent any more of this from happening? Like I say, I've never had these before...

That's terrible Bud Green. You should google/search the forums-- there's plenty of info on stem boring caterpillars like the Hemp Borer. Bt works.

tess- you're goin' hard. I'll start with Bt when flowers begin to set and start introducing parasitic wasps. I had a lot of cats last year but not too much damage. Was pulling off like 5-20 a day.

Thanks. I got to see wasps bite the heads off of caterpillars and then fly away with them off my plants in Butte...that was cool as fuck

Need a sprinkler system? Plenty of pro's on the boards here.

I still hand water everything that isn't in a final home. So watering still takes forever.

I have positively identified the borers as "squash vine borers".

The adults are flying bugs about 3/8 inch long and are bright orange and black.. I had seen a few flying around my girls about 10 days ago...

I found a utube where an old man who grows his veggie garden, mostly organic, sprays insecticidal soap or Neem oil directly in the hole to save his squash plants...

I'm gonna give it a try... either that or DE, in a water solution squirted into the hole....

On top of all the dank weed grown here we are now growing kale, chives, tomatoes, strawberries, cilantro, dill, peppers, sage, and basil out of leftover materials we had laying around. Probably more to come soon. I want this whole area filled with organic food eventually.

Nice. I've got a bunch of kale, chards, romaine, basil, tree collards, strawberries, mint, tomatoes, onions, artichokes, 5 varieties of grapes. My favorite are the greens, lots of stirfries at my place. I don't know what the deal is but peppers hate growing for me.
