Fireknot farm 2016

The flowering game is a huge part of the outdoor cannabis game. Thanks to the pioneers that came before us, that hasn't been the biggest problem for us coming in after. 15 years ago, I would nix half my crops because they would flower early. Now it's all about matching outdoor times, with my indoor timers. My percentage has been 0 for the last three years now.

In light of fishers post.. I wonder what the plants would look like, or what leadsled or other soil gurus would say, if I switched from foliar Mn weekly to biweekly?

Im wondering if the plant hit a hot spot of Mn in the soil and combined with the foliar triggered flowering?

May be pointless to speculate but I like knowing how stuff works.

I would think more along the lines of stress. Root bound? Too much foliar spray? Possibly genetics.

Milky says with soil mixes like ours, Mn is hard to supply at required levels with new mixes.

You can have hot spots for sure. When I was mixing up my 45 gallons for my deps, I supplied a fair amount of Borax to each pot. I emptied each pot in a wheel barrow, amended, and mixed back up. However, one plant showed bad signs of boron excess. Grew out of it very quickly also. Like you said, must of been a hot spot.

hey tess
the info is a little hard to dig up,
i believe it is in mp3 seminars of john kemp . ive also heard some talking here about mn sprays around flowering, to increase flower sites, what i remember is them finding there was a too much point , inducing some male flowers and or stress. the info from john kemp can be reflected in his product to increase flower set and quantity. with a strong amount of mn. http://www.advancingecoag.com/#!pht-bloom/j13xo
a maintenence dose of mn is 1/2 tsp gallon , and corrective can be 35ml / gallon here is a link to derrick k foliar points..

What's with volume measurements for minerals? Even serious bakers don't use volume measurements.

Some of shcrews plants are flowering, too. I'm crossing my fingers. I'd throw some light up there if that cabin has electricity. A cfl bulb for each plant. I'm going to rig up a car battery or something.

I've seen plants in deep flower (much more than your guys) pull out of it fairly quick with a decent watt cfl on 18/6 until the solstice.

By June 10 plants start to naturally pull out of it pretty well. I woudln't trip too much. Your plants will revert fairly easy.

Thanks ya'll
I'm seeing no more flowers...I'm pumped. I got a whole other round if I need it too. And other backups. Im feeding my gh plants some nutes and they look a lot better. I think it had to be the high doses of Mn that triggered the sky lotus. I'm still kinda amazed by this. I will be doing fishers recommended dose from now on.

No lights here. Just darkness and sunshine. Like its not even there at all.

Here's a pic of my mulch and my favorite sorcerers apprentice plant.

Time to bust out the cowboy hat and sandals. :bandit: :joint:

I have to agree with this again. If there were ever a time to pull out and redo it's now. As soon as you have to spend more than 10 minutes in there pruning and what not you'll be pissed working through that size or having to bend every other one to provide enough space to get your hand through

why are everyone's starts so much taller than mine?!

It's not the size of the start, it's how you use it.

Hey, been out of town.
BI weekly should be fine. What Mn product you using that you are spraying at 30ml?
I prefer to use the 100 to 1000 sq foot rates over the rate recommended for an acre.

Mn is green veins and yellow to more white in new growth is the sign there is a Mn problem.
Hope all is growing well.
