I don't have goats lol, do some research for your area. I bet they have farms somewhere local. Im in Sonoma County and was watching local news the other day, they were in the bay area somewhere and had 500+ goats and a couple dudes that brought them out to chew down this big hillside property that was loaded with weeds

You need goats? I know a guy.

Actually it's a girl. She rents cows, too. If you're into milk.

She also is flexible with payment and will accept trades. I don't think she has that many goats though. PM me if you want her contact info.

My neighbor lets his horses into my property for a couple weeks around this time of year. I get horse crap for my worm bin, and those horses level acres in weeks. What they don't eat, they trample. Would be weeks of weed whacking.

Same with the Greek guy I worked with, lol.

Why do Greeks wear tall boots?

So you can place the goats back legs in the boots and they can't run away,.

I'm interested in goats and curry. Some portable electric fence and some Craigslist goats. Get some freezer meat. The heck with feeding someone else's critters.

If you don't want to keep the goats (or eat them) when you're done, you can easily sell them on Craigs list and get your money back.

I like the goat curry idea.

As I was watering today I noticed this sky lotus---a different plant than the one before---looking like its flowering early. The other plant that I thought was before doesn't look like it anymore. This is the only plant that looks like this. I can see pistils on the tips of every node.

So what should I do? Swap it out and hope it's the only one that is doing it? This stunts the growth right? This is new territory for me.

When it goes back into veg you'll have a mass of small branches, pain in the ass to thin the excessive branching. Not positive, but I think the hormone changes will at the least slow growth for a few weeks. Happened to me last year with GG4 cross.

Yea you're losing valuable veg time. If it's really throwing pistils hard I'd replace it or double pot. This whole 'seeds don't flower early' thing makes me nervous. Maybe I shouldn't have bet the whole farm on it. Luckily a number of mine will only just be totally mature by end of may.

You could always use more cowbell.

I mean, to me it makes sense that you had a completely sexually mature short-day plant outside on the cusp. They're teetering and some fall backwards. Genetics I guess.

hey tess
manganese stimulates sexual reproductive in plants , i know your correcting for that... 30-40ml per gallon is a 1% solution , a pretty strong corrective strength , for more than a few times. since your correcting na and k regularily, maybe less,?

fisher, has Mn been shown to force or encourage flowering? I tried to Google that but couldn't find anything. Any sources? That could be useful...
