yeah blumats and drip lines are pretty simular in performance

but im having some trouble picturing this in my mind fish' ,tho i get the jist of what you are discribing
/sounds almost like a dwc set up, but what were the nerf darts for? the hollow foam tubes used for support?
actually its a solid set up you describe, the air stones keep the water oxygenated and the lid seal creates a damp/humid environment for the stem to root in

Yeah just to hold the stems and also 2 hold the airlines in also. Perfect fit. Wish I had my tools with me and a 3/8 bit, then the fit would have been almost airtight.

What's up jungle mates, harvest is done, very happy with it, now the wait is on for the dry. Found 3 keepers I think. Smoke test will tell. The big room is 15 days into flower. Trying to get the screens built and in.

Got my final grade for th is last class, I got an A deffinately glad to do so well. And glad to be done for a while.

I have been trying to post some pics but it's just not working. Hope the week is starting off well.

All is well again in the garden a new Sun Systems ballast and my old used bulb got me up and going. After replacing the ballast the bulb cut out after about an hour, bad connection in the bulb I guess. Whatever it was it took the digital ballast out too, It was four years old so not so bad. Would never have had a digital one but it came with the light tent package I started out with. I have had a dislike of digital power supplies since the early nineties when they first began to show up in audio gear.
Damn those fires guys I hope PopRocks and Packerfan are unaffected
Hey Badfishey sounds like you're getting more complicated with your system and more hands on. Do you really want hydro as much as you are away? I can't dispute the higher yields of hydro but correct me if i'm mistaken don't you have to watch it more closely and have strict controls over the rez temp and ph? I do envy the 5 gal dwc yields I see on Ic.
Fiddy any word on your curing success yet. You ran a cross of the 88g13/hp right?
I hope it makes you happy in the end. I can't wait to run my Gogi still waiting for the pkg I only got my MO in the mail last week but hope it comes in time to make the stocking.

Sorry I've been MIA for a couple days. I have a close family member in the ICU at the hospital and I've been spending time with family there. I'll be back soon to join the conversation.

They are head's and shoulders above every thing else size wise . Beautiful look and smells. Bud size. Nothing is set in stone. That,would give me 4 strains. They are getting another run now from clone in the big room

we are lucky so far and the big fires havent come too close to home
a lot of people weretn so lucky and i feel really bad for them
especially at this time of year

hydro isnt that hard, but there is definitely a learning curve
you kind of need to baby sit it for a while until you get a feel for how your plants like it, but once you have it dialed in its not so bad

I slept on a cut offer a while ago. Still kick myself in the ass over it lol. But at the time there were a ton of different ‘breath’ strains around and i wanted something a bit different. Oh well life is full of regrets lol

Good morning tribe.

Thank you for all of your well wishes and positivity. A member of the family needs a miracle and his wife and kids need a lot of support right now. There may be some improvement but it's hard to tell. For now I'm doing what I can for them and that includes pet sitting for a couple of their dogs. It's like a petting zoo at home now and Rufus is being a pretty good host.

Let's do a little jungle update. I was being a bit of a Debbie downer about the first half of the harvest a couple weeks ago and I'm sorry for that. After 10 or so days in the jar the herb from the first 2 plants is developing some nice subtle flavors, I can taste a very little of the chem in there but with some sweetness and floral notes. The second 2 plants came down last night and they look like they were worth the extra couple week wait. Every one would love them to be done in 8 weeks but maybe a 10 or so week strain can have some redeeming qualities, and a lot denser bud too. The second 2 are probably closer phenos to what I'm looking for and a more sativa like structure, very easy to trim. Once they dry and get some cure time I'll know more, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

In other news I'm getting good roots on most of the 16 cuts I took about 10 days ago in the cloner so that's great. I planted 5 seeds about a week ago and 2 came up pretty quick (1 Girl Scout and 1 Blackwater). It looks like 1 of the Larry OG seeds is trying to come up after a second watering so maybe I'll have one of each of the 3 strains. They are a long way from being ready to flower so for now the flower room is empty. I haven't had time to do any reading or experimenting with the clones in coco beer cups, probably going to have to wait until the next time I take cuts to mess with that.

I'm going to try to check in as time allows but it's going to be a strange Holliday with spending as much time with family at the hospital as I can. I'm sorry if I don't respond like usual to your posts. I just have to be there for family right now, it's been though for them and I suspect it will only get harder as Christmas gets here. Thanks again for all you support...Fiddy.

Hey mates, the weekend is within reach. Had a shitty day yesterday, elbow deep in shit. The toilet in the master bath stopped up. I spent 4 hours after work getting it unclogged. I pulled a shitload of roots out of the drain. I guess I can only go up from their. Hope everyone has a great Xmas.
