Hope everyone is having a good holiday, we are in the mountains.no snow though. No smoking this weekend, but the liquor is flowing. Got some shrooms for tommorow, only a couple grams. Just enough to have a mild trip. Got to many non smokers here.

Hope everyone is doing new years properly. I am probably going to be drunk befor dark.

Fiddynuts, I had a feeling Mr. Nuts harvest was much better than was claimed, sounds like you crushed it. Smoke a fatty for me.

That first one is the cookie kush and she may be last to finish she came on quick the last two weeks they are at 73 days since flip.
I usually just cut the whole thing other than a little popcorn to test. do you find tops get done first? Some of the candy kush was finished in 56 days two of them (the short bushy ones) show no signs of finishing yet. The ones I cut were very sweet and potent.
I did have those lighter leaf tips I never did get out of the CK and when I cut those I found some hollow stems. I had thought it was from ca not being taken up but the stem acording to Lowenfels that means I need more boron for that strain. I upped my EJ microblast on the new starts but wonder if I should be getting some borax.
Fiddy your yield is super with a 600 watt light. I hope it cures well and meets your models. I just received my Bodhi order from dragboat jeffy. He included double freebies since he had taken time at christmas and my order was late. I wrote him back I would not begrudge anyone time with family and thanks. I got Gogi, and elfinstone for next run and some mex sativas to try. Jeff also sent two packs of testers crossed with long bottom leaf Is that what you ran?
Well the temp is holding at around zero for the next week or so up here, we stocked up and may not go out till groundhog day.
Fishy PF and Pops enjoy your balmy days and stay healthy and soak up some sun for us frozen ones. I'm putting another log on the fire.

Not really planning on finishing them just want to sex first. Then will flip clones. Hoping this ogkb 2.0x pn doesn’t stretch too much otherwise may have some issues. The gas berries on stem rub smells like a gas pump. Even if male, may keep him around to smut out. Hope everybody has a safe New Years and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do... Its cold, been cold and gonna be cold I'm ready for this to be over. I got propane burner going now and staying between 60 and 80 whoever said the propane added humidity must be mistaken. one room 6x8 11' ceiling burner running on thermostat i get 33% tops I don't mind as the girls are finishing up. Here's a pix of some of them the cookies Kush by Barneys and Dutch kush by paradise along with NLxBig Bud are still growing as is the shorter candy kush girls

Thank you. You are so right about this cold weather, I like it less and less every year and I'm ready for spring. It was 14 below zero here again this morning and forcast looks like nothing but more cold days to come. I'm seeing humidity at about 30% here and my bigger plants don't mind it but the seedlings seem to be struggling with it a bit, I've got some really weird leaves on them. Your plants look great and I can't wait to hear how they smoke.

I agree that top buds are always the most mature when I scope my plants. My plants always seem to have hollow stems and I've heard that seed plants usually do but clones have a better chance at not having them. Interisting that boron has an effect on that. I bet you are stoked to get your new bodhi gear. I hope you find some greatness in there. I haven't grown out any of the DBJ freebies with the long bottom leaf but I've read good things about those crosses. I think I'm going to give some of the freebies I got with my last order a shot sometime. I wish I could stay in and avoid the cold but it's back to work tomorrow. Hope it warms up soon...Fiddy.

I hope the Mrs got those Cubans sandwiches safely back and you guys enjoyed them! Both pipes have a nice feel in the hand and hit well. My wife has good luck picking out pipes even though she dosent really puff anymore. I hope you guys had a great New Year's Eve and some good food and drink. I'd give about anything for a 64 degree day about now. Maybe this 4 seasons stuff isn't so great after all LOL. I'm glad to hear your clones took and your cloner is working well. Sounds like your grow is doing good and you are finding great stuff. I love the gas smell.

I've always loved mountains. Most of the time spent around them was during the winter snowboarding but they are equally beautiful in the summer.
My rule of thumb was with good shrooms that 1 gram is a good buzz and 2 is a great buzz.
Glad you had a good New Years. I was asleep by 10 or so needed the rest, it was nice to have a couple of days of downtime.

we went to a friends house and just ended up hanging out all night
/we were supposed to go to his house so he could drive all of us to a party but just got too settled in
hope you make your goal of getting more active this year!
it seems every year it gets harder and harder to stay in shape
you are not the only one who would like to be healthier this time next year
happy new year to you too, my friend!

i normally take down the whole plant at once rode, but the tops are the first part of the plant to mature
ive done the harvest in stages thing, but never felt the yields were worth the extra time (at least indoors)
why wait that extra week or two when i could just clear out the room and get a fresh start
i will sample the lower buds if they look good
but most of the time those buds get thrown into the extras pile and end up being a: early smoke to "try out" the new weed, or b: hash/ edibles
cant wait to hear how you like your new selection of seeds
sounds like you have some hunting to do
do you plan on doing an outdoor grow this year?

the goofy shroom trips are the best! and the littlest things will set off the laugh machine!

it could be due to the winter light being lower
if its reasonable enough, you might want ot give em second chance under better conditions

Yum grits n gravy... only problem with stretch is the height, can’t really grow trees is the back yard without neighbors seeing since yard cover got trashed from storm. But clones are all looking good. I know at least the c-99 x DPFlo are females! Have one in flower and she is finally starting to show. Just waiting for other 2 to show then will cull the rest

It sounds like you were way more lively on NYE than I was. I couldn't even be bothered to leave the house LOL. Glad you guys had fun. I needed the rest.
I hope 2018 will be a year of getting into better shape for me. I am fairly active but I eat way too much and it's getting in the way of me being able to do some of the more active things I like to do. Mountain biking is one of those things, I need to get some legs back and a bunch of cardio to get my lungs back. I am going to try snowboarding this year after a lot of years not doing any, hopefully my surgically repaired ankle is up for it. It just feels like the right time to get a little healthier.

Greetings friends and jungle tribe.

Time for a little jungle update. It's up to 14 degrees here today, a heat wave compared to how cold it's been the last couple weeks. Weather guy says back to single digit temps the next couple days but a warm up for the weekend and maybe close to 30 on Sunday. If it gets that warm I'll be shooting a game or two of disc golf for sure.

Things are fairly quiet in the jungle but I did pop a few seeds the last couple days. I've decided to run the clones of the 91XSL for the next run. I want to give them a shot at growing from clone and they are the only thing that is remotely close to being ready to flower any time soon. I'm thinking a couple weeks and they should be ready to flower. So after this run I am planning a mixed run. I have the CC Girl Scout and the Blackwater seedling as well as the 4 bodhi red eye Jedi seeds I just popped. Depending on how many lady's I get from the red eye Jedi seeds I'll have some plants to run.
Here are the red eye Jedi sprouts. Looks like 4/4 all came up for me.


I think the low humidity (30%) has been hard on the CC GSC and Blackwater seedlings. They have some weird leaves and are growing very slowly. I only got 2/5 of the mixed batch to come up. Here is a pic of the strange leaves on these girls.


I have really let the 91XSL moms get out of hand. They are way too big and getting rootbound. I really have to cut clones from them and keep those clones to be the moms and get rid of the big bushes. It won't be too long until it's going to be time to make some choices about which mom if any to keep around long term.

That's about all that's going on right now in the jungle. Things should pick up in the next couple weeks when I get some girls in flower. Here is a group shot of everything except the moms (they are in the other grow room that build under the stairs).

Thanks man. That family is the next 2 flower runs. The 91XSL clones go to flower in a couple weeks and the seedlings the round after that. I wanted to get the seedlings going early enough to get them sexed and then grow them from clone. I'm going to get one more set of cuts off the big bushy moms of the 91XSL and then mulch them. I'll keep a set of cuts while I grow out this run in case they grow way differently from clone and that may affect my decision on which to keep around a while.
That sticky card is an old one that just sits there and isn't as full of bugs as it looks (mostly dirt). I do usually just lay them down under the light like that, they seem to catch just as many gnats as when hanging for me. I think gnats are especially attracted to that yellow color and they fly down there to check it out and it's over for them. I have a few gnats right now because I just opened a new bag of soil to plant the seedlings. It takes a couple weeks for the BT to kill the larvae and break the breading cycle but after that they disappear quickly.
I hope the Mrs has no flight issues on her trip. It would suck to be trapped somewhere when they are getting a ton of snow. Those nor'easter can be huge and she dosent want to be stuck there. I've never traveled for work but it has to be cool to see diffrent parts of the country, except when the weather is bad and you risk having your stay extended. It seems like the weather guys always make a way bigger deal about the storms and they turn out to be just a slight inconvenience. Let's hope that is the case!

there has to be something about the color yellow because growing up surfing, we always avoided it (yum-yum yellow was what we called it, we believed it attracted sharks)
its also the color of struggling or weak plants, so i can see how the insects would be drawn to it
i keep a card on hand too, even if you dont have a pest problem, its interesting to see whats hanging about

We have it narrowed down to a small are in North Las Vegas. She found pictures on Instagram, and was able to coordinate landmarks in the background. We may be taking a trip up there to look for the boys.

@ Fiddynuts, sounds like you got things planned out for a while. I am trying to keep on top of things here. The next round of clones are going into solo cups for a couple weeks. Should be harvesting the big room the weekend befor Valentine's day. The wife will surely my not be happy about that.lol.

Glad the Mrs made it safely to her destination. Is she stuck there all weekend? More cold on the way for Midwest and east cost I'm hearing.

That is interisting that you make a connection between the yellowing of sick plants and the sticky cards. I had never thought of that, but it makes a lot of sense. Also that yellow attracts sharks is very interisting, maybe a kind of universal color that all animals see as attractive or interisting. A buddy from work just got back from San Diego yesterday and said he surfed just about every day he was there. He usually surfs the Great Lakes here and no need to worry about sharks. I, too like to keep a sticky card around the grow even if I don't see bugs just to see what I can find.

To be honest making clones with the cloner is so easy. Just cut and add water. I hope it works this well for other strains. '18 off to a flying start for sure brother...Fiddy.

Yes brother next two rounds are all planned out. I am holding off on the cobra lips for a couple runs because I'm rerunning the 91XSL again and don't to go back to back to back with chem crosses. Will run cobra lips after a run or two of something else for variety. Did you run the red eye Jedi? How were they? Yeild? Flavor?
