See, that's the thing, You don't go into this kind of business, get as big as he did, and risk decades or life in federal prison, because of what you believe in. It just does not happen that way. Your in it for money....

You get that big, to make as much money as possible, as quickly as possible, and get the fuck out. He just got a bit to greedy and didn't "get the fuck out" in time....

AMEN and hallelujah ...finally truth

Well atleast they looked like they were a model dispensary. I know Med States with budding dispensaries were probably closely watching harborside and had plans to imitate the structure, Minus the braids! !!! Oh well

And the dudes in dresses??

"Dave Dress" wore a dress because it was comfortable for his over-sized shlong. Thats what he said. Jeans hurt his donkey and irritated it so he started wearing dresses.
Good for him. I bet it got him laid alot. Even though it was with chicks with hairy armpits.. but none-the-less.

OK GUYS... THE SAD THING IS....

OK GUYS... THE SAD THING IS....

:scripture:
Is remember that skinny crackhead looking dude that came up to D'Angelo on the show and said that "You have a voice! And I dont! They wont listen to me but they'll listen to you."

Now... go back and read my first post and see where I said that each of us are not unified in thought and action and the government just rolls right over every one of us...1 at a time.
If we just unified in thought and action....either the Gov will bow down to its citizens.... Or pour its wrath out on us all with violence until we disperse and are devided again for fear of what the Government will take away from us... our homes, jobs, family.... everything we have worked so hard for.

This is why I asked if anyone is listening?!?!? All the posts seem to be somewhat devided and the posters have their own ideas and thoughts but not 1 of us will go out of our way to join a protest with millions of U.S Citizens on the White House lawn and write nonstop letters with hundreds of thousands of signatures to change the laws. We except tobbacco! We except alcohol! We except the U.S invasions of other countries! We bend over and are scared to loose the little we have!

We except billions going to the poor overseas while a million broke struggling families are right here on U.S soil! Im one of them. No Father. Poor mother. No education. I learned 3 trades! All 3 companies used me in my youth to make them the most money then threw me away when I got older. I gave my best years to the U.S of A just to get discarded like yesterdays garbage.

Now I cant support myself and my family and you say get a job at Dunkin Donuts or be a greeter at Wal-Mart?? LMFAO!!!!

The Gov would break apart my family and put me in jail and dig a bigger financial hole for my wife and kids because the system failed me and now weed is the only thing that can sustain us?

This is the war on drugs! Its a war on the American Family! Either stay poor and homeless and hungry while working a job that puts me in deeper debt each week I work, cause its not enough to even cover the basic cost of living....Or go to prison! :moon: Kiss my brown shit covered ass. I will DIE first before I allow myself to be suppressed like that.

ya people forgot the hippies got the Feds to back off through unity in numbers. people these days would rather play play station and relax and or have responsibilities which hinder our powers. if the whole community unified and protested outside fed building a million deep about it something would happen, probably tear gas and rubber buckshot rounds but that's good, look real good on the news when some medical cat gets shot in the dick with a beans bag round trying to fight for his rights. checkmate..

My hat is off to you and the strong minded few who act as you do. You said "managed to get selected once." How many days of your life and previous failures were involved? My faith in the system is non existent and I don't think I could fake my way into getting selected.

:joint:

I've had four other opportunities to be selected for a jury. And believe you me, I have TRIED!

It's odd here in this county where I live, too. I've only been called once for jury duty, wasn't selected and have never been called up again. Our county has a population of around 40,000, so I would think that, especially considering how often everyone else in the family's been called up, that I would have been called up at least twice.

All the other calls have been in LA county.

I knew this was gonna come shortly. They brought way to much attention to themselves. Anytime you try and rub it in the Feds faces, you think they aren't gonna come down on your ass with a show of force?

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but don't you get the sense that the normalization/legalization/acceptance of cannabis is as close as it's ever been? It's no doubt DOJ sees the writing on the wall and has decided to "pull out all the stops" in a futile effort to turn back the tide, starting with the largest dispensary in the world.

They know the clock is ticking, and should Obama win his 2nd term, he will most likely end America's drug war. There have been leaks from his Admin. saying as much. Tick tock...

Honestly, the general public would not be tripping as hard if they seen normal people not a foo dressed stupid with 2braids and rocking funky hats and a brother who is so spaced out and blown they think this is how all the marijuana community looks and acts. At least that weed wars in Colorado. Those brothers all look like normal people. That's the image that needs to be out there. Not the wanna be hippies

..Speaking of not being surprised, I'm also not surprised to see that this idea about the public's impression of Our Cause/how We are represented is met with "0 of 2 members found this helpful."

The more time I spend in this thread, reading the absolute closed-mindedness of some of the members here, the more discouraged I get about the acceptance of cannabis.

Seems that the popular sentiment around here is that if you're not beating your chest and threatening to bomb federal courthouses in the name of DANK BUDZ BRAH, then clearly you must be either a "sheep" or "supporting The Man."

the tide is slowly turning folks

at some point every singe douche in washington will realize that not to many people see the laws the way they do

most of us read about the guy in texas ho caught someone molesting his daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands (GO DAD!!!)

for a week every paid legal expert that "reports" for the media was saying that he should/would be charged with something while the public opinion polls were 95% for letting the guy go and giving him a medal.

in the end the DA decided not to charge him

i believe it is only because the DA is an elected official and he knows damn well the next election would earn him a pink slip if he decided to charge the guy.

one fine day the public opinion polls WILL force our government to do what they need to do

the people have a whole shit load of power even if they don't think so ....... may be the reason our government and the news networks do their best to keep us bickering at each other instead of focusing on WHO has been screwing ALL OF US the whole time

You scared the shit out of the judge and prosecutor try one, consequently your name was put on the no fly list. They force you to act as they want you to, consequently no more jury duty for you.

The system is evil and poisoned, we are living in an Orwellian world where justice is injustice and free thinking individuals have no place in an injustice system. The system has an amazing ability to marginalize free thinking individuals.

Look at how hard a battle it was to get healthcare reform and his opponants are still trying to fight it and vowing to repeal it the first chance they get. Do you realistically think he'll push legalization of marijuana thru successfully if he's having so much trouble just trying to make healthcare affordable?

That's only one of many viewpoints that are popular in this forum. It is not the majority viewpoint though.

Well said and in my opinion this is the rough draft for how to win this battle. Demonstations, sit in and riots in the street don't really work. Been there done that back in the 70's and things in many ways are worse now. The way we win this battle is to shed our apathy and get out there and vote. Not just vote and sit back and hope the winner does the right thing. Rather vote, then write, call, petition, make sure the elected knows the position of the constituency and hold him/her accountable. If he/she isn't doing what you demand then thro the bum out next election. Wash, rinse, repeat until we get someone in there that does listen and serve the will of the people who elected him/her. That's how to win this battle.

It would also help if people actually did research on their own before going to vote, instead of showing up and just randomly pulling a lever, or letting the tv tell them who is the best.
