Some of the first real looking sour d that I have seen . looks like the cut I ran back in early 2000 .

Youre probably used to seeing buds with long twisted chalky stalks under the heads. Some day the Cannabis community will learn to look past that. I can personally see some of my favorite smoke in those pics. The qualities are almost subconsciously detected through experience and recognition. If there is any gradient for quality regarding frost, shorter straighter stalks would be it.
Honestly the best buds I've ever smoked didn't even seem frosty until weeks into the cure, even though the trichs were milky under the scope at harvest. And some of the grossest most boring bud I ever smoked (before dispensaries) was pure white.

For sure . I am not a bid sour d fan . not that it can't permeate two bag or a jar and get the high is in my top 10 . I just don't care for fuel/diesel and or sour . so its like a trifecta of what I don't like. Throw in some citrus and I would die lol . to each there own .

I am not going to get in to the hole ecsd vs sour d but I prefer the sour d I ran . maybe it was just a west cost thing but it grew like a kush but with gigantic swollen clyax's and vary few resesd hairs . it was and is lime green . nothing like the ecsd I seen and tried . it look more like karma plant above . not exact but close .
I would say ecsd is more chem like and the sour d that was out west was more sour it would make my stomic turn almost could,not smoke it lol. Maybe it was a selected s1 of ecsd ?
yeah I saw it at dude who grow both cuts in greenhouse at Hawaii. his sourD looks more indica and he said it can get moldy there while ecsd not. he said he got it like that. maybe that sourD is original diesel? who knows.. but still its hard to imagine for me, that there was only one cut at the beginning.. because when you are selecting keeper you will end up with more similar individuals. even Josey has more cuts of glue, not only gg4. cheers.
