Sounds like your shop owner is more concerned about the rest of the case selling than getting you what you need. IIRC this isn't the only product your shop owner doesn't want to get for you.... With the VERY limited number distributors in the industry combined with the fact he makes excuses not to stock organic products with a shelf life I'd call him out next time hes BSing you.

I actually offered once to buy a whole case, thinking he was bullshitting me, and he said it wouldn't make any difference. However, I'm not sure if he was trying to cover his bluff, and he suffers from short (and long, I suspect) term memory loss (go figure), which is why I was thinking I'd ask again, and see if the result changes! :D He's actually a pretty good guy and I would rate his honesty at "above average," but you never know.

Hows the crops going people ?

Got 4 different new strains going from seed that I got the labels all mixed up early on so I have no idea whats what ?

Cheese x ssh: So7omon
Satori : Mandala
Sssdh x bogglegum: core’s
Devil Berry: My own cross from Tiki Green Devil X MOD Godberry (self pollinated females)

Just 7 big females & 2 small runts about 35 days into flower, ive been stuck riding out a hot compost mix with HIGH EC readings so ive not been liquid feeding at all for awhile.

There looking healthy but yields seem to be negatively affected by the excessively rich soil.

They do smell excellent & im hoping they are about to swell up :)

mile high i feel the same way. i used to prowl ej threads on my old acct. but since then ive moved on to primarily amending. i supplemented some towards the end with some ej but i realized that after six weeks of sitting my half a bottle of bloom was solid. one solid wasted chunk. wouldnt break up and god only knows whats goin on in there. tf your right as usual it makes me mad as hell they dont have a date on them. how can they not thats bad business in my opinion. i like ej it was good for my first organic rounds but turns out just not for me. good luck to all you ejers ive learned alot in this thread. tf thank you also for sharing so much info. without your insight i might have never moved on to a more "hands on" organic approach. happy holidays and such!

Bummers, old page 27 is sad times, im morning the loss :(

Looks like its just me & you Finest, don't overfeed them this go around & show everyone the big improvement this time using my tips young grass groper.

I had some fairly crappy grows the first year starting out growing organically & using EJ, it was stressful & not fun. My problem was overfeeding & high PH, once I realized that it was night & day difference.

EJ in most cases isn't a feed & forget schedule type product, it can be very difficult to use at first then later on very easy to use imo.

I think im going to call them to chat about the born date / lifespan issue & lack of selection in state shops.

The jug gelling up that quick is odd, wonder if it got hot & or mold contaminated, did it stink ?

My last gal of Bloom slowly turned into a mild milkshake thickness over 1 1/2 years towards the end but it still worked & smelled fairly pleasant, my replacement new gal is very thin in comparison at this point.

I'm kinda surprised to see that about the Bloom, myself- the Grow often starts out that way, but the Bloom is always pretty thin- must've been a heat thing (?) My Bloom has gone at least 6 months with no change in consistency... oh well.

So... what's this "potassium crossover point" bit about?

not 100% sure but I stop using kelp the last 2 o3 3 weeks of flowering and used to use molasses but am now stocked with hibrix and meta-k for bottled stuff and have a few bags of epsoma Sulfate of Potash Magnesia for my pk booster.

Hey, eu.r.dite

How do you apply that Sul-Po-Mag?

I bubbled 1Tbl in 2gal of water overnight, this morn. I checked the mix at 2000ec, 1400tds, 6.8p

I lowered the Ph to 6 and added 2gals of water to cut it back. Then I watered it in.

First time I've used it, as I'm steppin' away from the bottles

Much Respect,

So how long do you guys feed just water at the end of flowering cycle before chop when using EJ products? Ive been following one of the recipes on the first page so far and things are looking nice, but debating on when to cut out feeding?

Ive tried pure water for the last week or more to see if the smoke was "cleaner" but it didn't make a positive difference that I could tell ?

I mostly feed right up till chop for maximum bulking & the smoke is great.

The only "harsh" smoke I ever grew was when I used alot of molasses at the end.

Much Respect,

Rip, in my grow i just added two tsp per 5 gallon pot as a top dress, but my soil, that i transplanted into, earth juice amazon bloom, has sul po mag in it. I put it over the original soil (pro mix, low on mag). My original soil had calcium carbonate instead of dolomite lime. (my fuck up) Since the repot, i have noticed the new shoots no longer have red stems, and in general looks more healthy.

Like you, I'm still sketchy on how much to use. But I plan on using a 1/2 tsp per gallon, once a week, in early flower. And as my experience grows with it i may adjust on the fly.

I am surprised and mildly concerned over your numbers though, I'd hate to screw up the EC .......scrappy

Much Respect,

I top dressed it at a rate of 1 tsp/gal of soil but it looks like you did just fine with your brew.

I wouldn't be worried about the ec numbers being too high, I've had some ewc/guano teas read out at well over 1.5 ec, granted I think that sul-po-mag is much more readily available to the plants than everything in my tea so it was probably best for you to cut it back a bit.

LUI 13, 2nd attempt

LUI 13, 2nd attempt

Hey all,

In case anyone is interested, I've started flowering my second go-round with Dutchgrown's LUI 13... This grow will be entirely with EJ products plus Hygrozyme, Liquid Karma and molasses... the blow-by-blow can be found here.

Tac, FYI specifically, this will be my first full flower using EC as a reference, so your input would be particularly desirable... thanks for the help everyone has given on thread... go Team EJ! :D
