i dont think metal is a good choice to use as a container.
It's obvious to me that people read DrBud's threads for different reasons. Good for you all!!.... hope you are all getting the knowledge or entertainment that you deserve. For some of you... your egos feel boosted by criticizing another for some just hanging here for the entertainment of the drama and for some to learn something new. Whatever your purpose is here take a look at yourself....... cause we all have. thanks to some for your kindness and to those who have nothing better to do. lol
.... Mrs.G
Can you see me now honey............ LOL
I feel like all problems anyone has with dr.bud could be solved by going back and editing his original posts to just say "theoretical" gpw everywhere. New growers can still learn everything we have to learn, and the experienced guys would have less to fuss about.
(Yields of up 2.... 4 grams per watt may be possible with the right strain and time to Dial it in)
I get 4.5 grams off the popcorn buds on the bottom of one plantlet, not including the main Cola.
All of the scientific data is pointing to the fact that you're a complete moron and need to quit spreading false information.
Maybe that's all we need? Who are you to judge something you have never even tried and have no experience with?
I bet that is not your per watt total, and more like a wet weight.
Not false, done it, tried it did not work as described. If you can do it great. You must be pulling in ten or twenty grand a month with hauls you state. Best case with a cfl grow is 1.5 grams dried per watt in a little over 120 days. That is real watts, not fake watts that everyone tries to say they have with a cfl bulb. A 43 watt cfl in no way will give you 43 grams dried in 90 days. Now thems the facts. If you try to say that your 43 watt cfl that is being sold as being the same as a 200 watt incandescent bulb is 200 watts you really need to look into things a little better. It is still 43 watts at the end of the day.
Like I said go for it if you like to play gardener. But I will stick with a 90 day turn over and know in advance what I will finish with each and every time.
Ya! What Bozo said! Hey Bozo, sabasi here from GP lolyou're just wrong dude. ...you say you've grown with CFL's but everything
else you say shows you haven't.
the truth is, you flower them early and short so they finish at around 14 to 20
inchs and they will weigh between 50 and 80 grams wet, and if they're 8 week
strains, they finish in 8 weeks, not 120 or 90 days.
oh, and anyone who has grown with CFL's for more than a couple months
already knows to count actual wattage and not equivalence's.
anyway, if you're a HPS grower, why come here with all your negativity?
why not leave all these CFL threads alone? ...you do your thing and we'll
do ours. ...stop trying to destroy our illusions man!

anybody but me wonder where this PITA got 43 watt CFL's?
i was surprised on my last cfl grow that half of them started to fade. Even on my current grow with 2 x 150w (2x42w) one of them is noticeably dimmer at the north and south poles of the tube, and makes an overall difference; tis a crying shame they cost near 12 bucks each in the hardware store. And that's for the expensive good quality shiz.
im going to try a new brand next time i go CFL hunting - ive been using globe by globe electric company inc located in montreal, canada.
