Regardless of Dr.buds results, the fact in my eyes is that his post's are what got me to this site, he has filled google with search results.

Also, even without his results(let's say we cut this out of the equation) he still has great advice, great amounts of knowledge, and has taken his time to show/teach anyone who is willing to listen. attitude (confidence) comes with experience.

Wether you hate the doc, Or love the Doc.
You all Learned ONE(if not more) things from him, even if you won't admit it.

Wuzup to all the dr bud fans and haters lol..Iv never subsribes to his threads..but now I will read as much as I can about this method..what I dont get is how none of the plants get rootbound?..I plan on doing this,but under a 400 hps,and with those big subway soda cups..I will fit around 36-49 in coco coir.how much should i be able to yield MINUMUM with a good yielding sativa dom strain such as PPP,or satori..

should i get around 500W of CFL or a 400W HPSwhich is about 20,000more lumens.
ive seen amazing things with drbuds cfls upwards of 2 gpw but i think im going with hps. its cheaper in the long run i just dont know if i will get more herb with cfls..

Man..theres no comparison..get the 400 hps..depending on how much money you got..you can maybe get a 600w hps..I PERSONALLY hate cfl's..but theres lots of growers here who get GREAT results with them..

do some reading..look into SOG..or even a scrog..both give very high yields..

Its def possible...depending on your method..medium,strain,nutes,pot size,etc...but Ill help you out..

1.Use 5.5*5.5 square pots,filled with coco coir/perlite...coco coir is a easy to use,hydro medium..with none of the fancy requirements of water based hydro..hand water it..like any soil grow..and it will still give you hydro results,plus coco coir can support bigger plants in smaller pots than soil..

2.use a good quality nutrient regime..a very good one is General Hydroponics Flora Series..use maxicrop liquid seaweed..and a good bud booster...

3.get a high yielding,fast growing strain..some are good for sog's..while others dont yield CRAP with no veg times..look for a sativa dom plant that stretched more during flowering..most indicas say too short..a good one Iv tried was nirvana ak48..strteched like 3 times its height in the first 3 weeks of flower..

4.fit around 7*7 under the 400 hps..in small pots..some use soda bottles..keep temps under 85*f...air movement..treat the plants good..trim the lower side branches in the first month of flowering..this is called lollyoppping..

5.lets say you get 5 grams DRY per plant..which is a minumum..thats atleast 8 ounces..allthoguht your most likely to get around 10 grams per plant..thats 17 ounces per 400 hps..some get like half ounce per plant..this depends entirely on the grower and the genetics..

so if you get 10 grams,and you harvest 10 every week..thats 100 grams,or 3.5 ounces..every week..

time the grow,so that your putting new clones EVERY WEEK..and pretty soon..youll be harvesting those same plants EVERY week..this is a perpetual sog..

yo. surprised this threads still goin. its legendary imo.

anyways i got a question for DrBud or anyone whos done a grow like his. have any of you tried flowering a full 72 clones (or 50+) in a cab of that size (approximately 6 square feet from the dimensions DrBud gave on an earlier post)?

If so, how was your yield? I'd really appreciate the input. it's invaluable.

Also, how many plants do you think it would take to produce 72 healthy clones per 8 weeks?

I don't know man cats are just straight dicks when comes to the great DrBudGreengenes who has saved me $450 this month cuz I don't have to buy bud from the club and probably wont have to every again. To me it seems the thing I hear from people the most is that it's offensive to them to see this dude preach about unheard of yields in small spaces with cfls noless!!! When they have spent the last 5 years growing under 600w and 1000w HPS and are just now dialing in a little over 1g per watt and he blows them out the water with his cfl cabs. I think myself and a few others here that have copied the system and been successful with it are the biggest piece of proof that it can be done. Also there is much to explore and experiment with since he was just running his plants in soil so there is room for bigger yields if cats went hydro with it. I'm getting good results in coco and I'm just getting used to it and what nutes I like best so I'm willing to be that 5 252w cfl cabs could give a harvest close and if not better than a 1000w HPS setup and thats what I'm working on cuz the bud I've grown under cfls is still more potent that what I have got from clubs and my friends that grow with HID...... Sorry for the ramble

Thunderkel..any links to one of your grows..I msut admit Im one of the skeptics..despite all the proof..I just cant believe that cfl's will produce the same if not better results than an h.i.d..however,the method is def a revolutionary one..thudnerkel..why dont YOU start a new thread on this method..Iv seen you around,and seen a coupe of your pics..very nice..

NO OFFENSE,but the doc always seems to post the same pics over and over and over again..no consistent new pictures..no total dry harvest pics..just sporatic pictures here and there..thunderkel,you should start a complete grow log using this method..Im sure itll get much review!!
