i has roots on a stinky panties...funny part was i accidentally pulled it out of cube and it had 3 nice little root nubs so i just threw it into some soil, 7 days on that one man chunky let me know whenur back in the mitten this og is stanky and calling ur name.

i'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit all over this post. if it herms under stress then it herms plain and simple. i run a very stressful environment, light leaks and all. i need my shit to be bulletproof. none of my shit herms. because they don't have herm tendencies. if your shit herms guess what? it's got hermy tendencies and shouldn't be getting used in breeding programs.

i have too agree , the only problem is alot of fire has been found through plants that have thrown a nanna. (we don't have to mention gg4)

my e.g is chemdog ibl shit hermed to the max ( i put a straight male over her). the seeds out of her never did shit. never saw a nanner again out of serval hundred.

so i,m saying i don't care if she,s not perfect if she puts out. i,m not saying its good practice though or great breeding i avoid it if i can. but i,m going where theres fire. you won't see things in the second generation you saw in the first, either(sometimes). my chemdog was perfect example of that. shit was fire every time out of the offspring even too the point of being left too long, never saw another flower. pretty sure i,d chop a body part of too have her back

You guy can call bullshit all you want! My point was that you can't expect all of the seeds your buying to be 100% female and never throw a nanner( especial if you know you have a stressful environment ) my previous post was a hypothesis and it's not a fact.
I'm sick of people coming and ridiculing someone because they used so called hermie pollen! Or breeding with hermie females. Well I think that Chunky has proven that it can be a very profitable endeavor! After all look at what he has gained from just a few hermie seeds!
I was not trying to argue with anyone on this subject I can see some of you are unwilling to open your minds to a different approach on the subject ! On a side note I don't see anyone trying to give chunky back his hermie cuts or his hermie seeds do you?

I would love to see that cookie boI pollinate sum forum cookies the dhn platinum cut, ogkb or that thin mint cut chunky has. There would be Sum fire from those beans forsure.

I'm not a breeder by any means or claim to know much about it but wouldn't that cookie boI crossed with the forum, platinum, thin mint, ogkb etc. Be considered a bx1?? Just curious.

Forum breath beans were for sale in MI at the cup, the GorillaBreath was the most popular though.

I'm excited to see how they look and plan to pop some along with the DawgBreath and ThinScout as soon as I get my tents cleaned up.

Almost all the scout and GorillaBreath are down and I have room to run the next testers.

The way I see it all the males that pop from crosses of CookieBoi can be considered back cross material for the GSC clone onlys.

I'm more interested in finding the killer male with all cookie genetics.
One that increases cannabinoid content, resin, yield, or brings new terpene profiles.

The second OGKB 2.0 back cross got harvested and is drying now.
The beans turned out better, I'm learning that if you pollinate early the seeds turn out looking better.
I'll be popping these soon to finish the cubing. Four males pollen went into this cross.

I'm waiting for everyone who has been bitching for years about females being reversed and used for males to get with it and start popping these with an eye for male selection.:biggrin:

reversing males to female is an easy short cut around progeny testing all male phenos. just run for pollen the ones that present true cookie phenos as femlaes. use the cloned backup and discard reversed m 2 f. the reversal is only to see the genetic expression. its not for making seed or smoke per se. you will have kept an unreversed copy of each male that you will have reversed. now you cut the number of progeny tests down to only the most dank of the truly cookie dominant male phenos.

i suggest you learn how to write better.

No one's trying to shut down anything, i've been following CP's progress since before most of the people in this thread even knew about him, back when people were shit talking him for growing out a retarded looking slow bagseed from a bag of cookies. I'm willing to open my mind to blah blah blah since i've been doing blah blah blah since forever, before CP. i just find it funny to see all the ball hugging going on in here when a few years ago we were getting shit heaped on us for even stressing plants out to weed out the weaklings. then when people come talking bout how they're gonna end shit now. i kinda have to get my bullshit stick out and whack some heads.

i wanna try this OGKB2 and see whats the deal, but i'm not gonna be crossing it to anything or trying to pretend like it doesn't have herm tendencies when "theres always a few seeds in the buds" that clearly points to herming. so don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining.

I always have to grow it before I give an opinion.. What happens in someone else garden doesn't mean the same will happen in yours. You might never see any naners. Many things can induce a plant to pop naners. Plants grown in stress might not show any while the same plants grown in a perfect environment will. Moma Nature is a fickle biatch.. I will work with any line naners or not just depends on how good she is.

It's what i do sometimes but i am just playin' really i hope folks know that.. I love to see new things being sought out and found to be honest i am jealous of the hunt is the real of why i drop into threads like this.. it's been a minute since i been able to do any hunting and i miss it dearly.

I think your jurassic park "life will find a way" washes,,, but over a much longer time than we can realistically afford any breeding scheme. The argument of simply choosing offspring to breed with not showing the same levels of weaknesses (in any category for that matter) is a very strong argument.

None the less,, i have always had room in my heart and stash jar for top level smoke and i would trade anything for it pay anything for it so i say everybody rock on with your bad selves and bring it :)

I have not seen anything here that makes this look practical.
I think it sounds cool but I'd rather not play with any chemicals that I don't have to. and waste the energy and time.
I'd just like to see cannabiniod and terp testing on ripe male flowers to look for the off the chart examples then try those on clone onlys.

I'm really interested in stronger louder and faster and all of these things are quantifiable now on the west coast.
the testing in the east and the mitten and CO is not up to it for terpenes yet.

when you see people do cannabinoid tests on a large selection you can see that there are huge differences in buds that look equally dank.

if I get an opportunity to do some testing that's what I will try but in the meantime I'll make beans with all the males that look healthy mixed to try to keep the gene pool large.

every thing I'm doing making seeds is tiny and all I can go by is what I'm seeing when I run the testers.

the ScoutBreath have all come out looking like cookies but more like OGKB 2.0 Cookies than Forum Cookies.

I'm just going along with your theory from the pollen checkers thread that the bagseed is where the new dank comes from in our culture and I'm trying to turn it loose for others to evaluate.
