i do terpine tests too.

i hear you on the chems but.....these chems arent that gnarley if used correctly. its sold in a handy dandy super mild dilution for safe handling. then you further dilute. spray plants out side once a week for a few weeks. its really not a big process or safety concern. i do my spraying outside and let dry off. its a very unstable chemical that breaks down rapidly in these environments. youll never see the level of expression that holding a female kola will give you. smell and look are huge factors. you cant know how its gonna smell based on terps alone.
skunkyness, garlic, rotten meat and garbage smells people recognize in ganja for instance arent all from terpines. so really burnt rubber skunk smells arent going to be perceived in a terp test. smells off male flowers can be less than telling.
i reversed a bunch of males this spring and it was obvious what these dudes were bringing to the table immediately and then watching them and smelling them it was obvious which ones you wanted breed with.
same as with females. you pick the dankest ones that grow in a way you can work with.
its super easy honestly and if it does prove a faster way to narrowing males that also yields better male selection i would argue that it was a time saver.

plus you know..., its fun. i honestly do it because i find it fascinating. maybe its a terrible way to pick a male. lol but its fucking cool as fuck to see. i hear from some trusted sources that use it that it does narrow males more accurately and gets better results faster.

So true , to true, nobody actually creats n stabilizes... i hate n love to say it.. #s r a thing of the past with few exceptions.. glad my seeds date back to 70s80s90sn present. .. . But i got no problems as long as those wtf seeds grow dank... to create a line needs time effort n #s.... no overnight gone female fillin fuk up. Tom i know u got u got ur hand in there somewhere.. ...lol... not actually in there but u may be one in a few to actually know wtf is in this shit. .. n truth is probably far from what ppl think... hope some ppl get ur message... any way those 2.0 seeds are worth poppin if u aint got a cut n want cookies....

Ive been running cookie s1s all summer and havent found a single one that hasnt hermed and my environment is about perfect temp and humidity wise but no co2 supplement. I feel like the herm is in its genetics and if you even look at it wrong it throws a nanner just like its giving the finger lol

Where did you get your hermie Cookie S1's?

if cookies didn't herm I'd have never found my 5 beans so I'm really OK with it

have not seen anything extreme when there were not big stressors like 38 degree night time temps in my garden last winter.
when the Three threw the nanners that made the GlueBreath clone she selfed herself pretty hard.
it was 3 weeks in and look at the seeds! the whole plant was not like this just a few buds.
I saw only a dozen sacs on her at most that time but none since.

if you are talking sacs at ripening I see a few every time I trim the OGKB 2.0.
like I said I find a couple seeds in each jar consistently. never seen any early ones and never seen her make more by accident.

Everything I have grown of cookies has been fine but they were regs and of course crossed to a nice stud no s1 of cookies but I haven't experienced hardly any herms. Conditions are perfect then it could've been being pushed too hard too much training. Seed plants show herms more than from clones. I did have a few sacks on Platinum Delights from SinCity but I had very very high heat same pheno has been perfect in stable conditions and multiple runs since then. Herm doesn't bother me some of our best elites have come from that so how can I complain. Long as I don't see balls right off the rip and take over then I'm good. Several runs of something before I toss it just cus I=of a few sacks. Keep killin CP cant wait to have some Scout Breath buds.

My hermed cookies arent on par w the 2.0 thats for sure. I found mine in a bag i got that was called cookies. Nanners all over the buds. Im in a non med state so i couldnt tell you how legit they were but some came out like pine fluff and i found 1 super doughy loud pheno. Ill get a pic of the finised product up tomorriw when im at the spot.
