Thanks for the reply. I sprayed pesticide today for leaf miner infestation. Only 1 plant looks like sacs are developing. I might spray the other plant.

What is the consensus now on eating/smoking the rest of the plant if only one branch is sprayed with sts?

Hey guys, some changes took place over the last 2 days. They were hard to notice as the pollen sacs are purple just like the purple calyxes (buds). Some of the pollen sacs grew out between the pistols. Even weirder, some pollen sacs grew out from inside of the calyxes.

To recap, I spayed on day 1, waited for 5 days, then sprayed again, did not spray a third time on day 15. Today is day 16 and many changes took place overnight.

I used my add on macro lens for my smart phone to zoom in on what looks like tiny pods.

Why would you wait 3 weeks to spray again? Check the instructions, Douglas.Curtis instructions said spray, then spray 5 days after. That's basically twice in 10 days. I did 1 spray, waited 5 days and sprayed again. 5 days later (day 15) I was about to spray again and could not find my scale to measure the chemicals. On day 16 (6 days since the 2nd spray) I was about to spray but saw tiny tiny pollen sacks. Trust me, I wanted to do that 3rd spray so badly. Never overspray the plant. I have read that spraying too much or too often will lead to empty pollen sacs.

You can also search this journal to find answers.
Before I made my 1st comment, I read every single post from the instruction manual until 55 pages later when I decided to experiment.

Hey weedeasy :tiphat: I already read every post in this thread and i cant remember any single post about long flowering sativas, i would really appreciate if you can point me to this info. Im trying to reverse a long flowering lady, a 100+days one. The Sts is effective in the plant for 3 weeks, my plant take this time just to start flowering, thats why im asking. Thanks for point me when and how to ask, i really appreciate it, but my question is not about 60 days strains.

Apologies on misinterpreting your post. Try spraying every 2 weeks.
you are welcome, thanks for reply bro:tiphat: I'll gonna post my results using different spray schedules, i have 3 clones of this plant to do some research. I never had too much luck reversing sativas

The plants have maxed out at about 2 feet.

A close up at the average bud site right now.

These sacs are pretty small still but are now viewable without magnification.
I think they look like they are opening. Shouldn't they open when they are bigger? What do you think?

And then there was pollen!

And then there was pollen!

Finally pollen sacs have begun to open.
Sprayed STS on the 9th July 2020.
Second spraying was on the 14th July. A 3rd spraying didn't happen. On the 20th July, tiny pollen sacs emerged.
25th July, pollen sacs began opening.

See photos below.

I must say this happened very very quickly. With 2 weeks of spraying sacs formed and opened.
Let me know what you think.

@Weedeasy, good job! It was your first time if I'm not mistaken?
If so, then you just advanced a level in your growing skills.

Now make some fem seeds with that pollen and be sure to properly store the remainder of your pollen.
See the guide on the first page on how to long term store pollen
