Arranged a few leaves off the boz (sis x tpk) and played around with photoshop - she has that classic OG look to her leaves. New growth starts with a single bladed leaf, expanding to 3 then eventually to 5 bladed fan leaves on the more/most mature leaves.

Looking forward to seeing a full room of her.

Cuts under the dome:

16 Boz, 8 Luci/Sis, 8 Lazy Lightning

Next two flower runs are planned out. Sis/PK this run and a mix of Luci/Sis and Lazy for the new room when it's built. They'll just root and get put into 1 gallon to start vegging out.

Once those get started in flower, I'll start more seed. Take a round of cuts off the M9 - and get those rooted and vegging out for a mono-crop run of it.

I'm really starting to look forward to having a second flowering area. This will make the transition of things SO MUCH EASIER. The more I envision this change the more it makes my heart start pounding with excitement. I need to spend more time in the garden. I need to see more genetics. I need to grow more cannabis. :joint:

Hey Frank
I know what you mean about the discontinued light. The light she sent me, she then discontinued, in favor of the light she sent you.

I hadn't used it for a couple months, the chamber empty, but I popped more seeds and turned it on this week for a veg light. It's def not blurple, light pink really.

I keep saying that I'm going to get a 2'x2' tent for the HGLED and really see what it can do in flower, but any extra tent money always gets spent on real life problems. Lol. Soon....

FWIW - I was talking about Mars Hydro that sent and then discontinued. It's not really an issue and I find it to be a moot point, it's just the reality of the current situation. I hate it took me so long to get a thread documented with it - but at least I have new/current tech via the HGLED to compare it to; that gives my opinion a tad bit more validity at least.

Yea I knew what you meant. I was just saying that we both, were running lights that they don't sell anymore. Doesn't necessarily mean there anything wrong with them, just they have moved on to what they feel is better option to sell.

To be honest, I didn't know that HGLED had ghosted, but I didn't exactly go looking for them after they were banned

Mars Hydro is giving away a SP3000 - their new light. It's designed to fit a 2 x 5 foot print. Seems almost designed for my space. For those that thought it was a bit silly for me to run a discontinued light - and for those that keep telling me I'm missing out on the true power of LED by running older / untested "Blurple" tech and I need to get on board with some full spectrum white diodes.

Their timing is just uncanny.

Here's your chance to help me experience that. If I can manage to win the light, the next flower run will be under a new Mars Hydro SP3000 - really seems like the perfect solution.

Honestly, I feel like I owe them one too. If I am able to win the light, I'll commit to buying a second. I really think two of these, maybe dimmed down a bit - would crush in my little 2.5' x 5' space.

Truth be told. If I get this light - I'll be building 2 new flowers spaces and not just one.

I love this site. So many amazing opportunities!!! :woohoo: :respect:

This is the new layout and design I'm going to build. I could build a bigger, single flowering room, but I don't really want more than 1kw running for flower at a time. In part why I went with a smaller footprint from the beginning and started with 2 x 315w.

I'm digging the extra room in the veg area. That will be nice to trim in.

Need to work out the HVAC plan still.

3 flower rooms - all 2.5' x 5'.

1 - 2 x 315w CMH
1 - 2 x HGLED XB200 200W LED
1 - 2 x Mars Hydro SP3000 300w LED

This is what I figure I'll be running in each of the rooms. Still want to upgrade veg to custom strip LEDs ala Lapides style.

How do u access each individual room? Is this whole structure inside a larger structure with individual entry points from the outside?
Edit: jus went n gave ya my vote, but it looks like u dont need it! Lol! Congrats, lookin forward to seeing that comparison...

Directionally, Door opens to lung room. Open walkway into veg room. Each flower has it's own door.

Going to be built room inside a room style, just like my current setup. My current build is modular and I'll essentially just be rotating and adding to it.

New lay out looks sick. What are your idea’s for cooling the space? I can’t wait to see what you cook up. I got quite a bit of space to work with now and deff need some stank bro gear in my room. So excited for you broski.

Nice setup, looks like somebody was playing with Sketchup. I love that program, used it to plan my workshop rebuild. The veg room is pretty big, how big do you plan on growing the plants before transplanting?

@Darksider - They have a bit of a learning curve, but I'm figuring it out. I'll be excited to see the difference between "blurple" and "full spectrum white".

@Unc - It's always been my thing. Fully insulated controls noise and keeps temps in balance better. Add the air layer between the walls and the growing build - and it's a pretty good buffer for activity. Not that I'm actually worried about a heat footprint with this small setup, but old habits die hard. The current room is 100% wrapped in "PolyShield" - just because I still had some lying around. Will certainly keep that lined room as the CMH room.

@Prodigygrower - I hope I can utilize the system I am now - tying into the whole house A/C by redirecting vents to exhaust into the flowering rooms. I have 2 x Vortex 6" blowers and 2 x 55lb carbon filters. I only think I'll need one fan and filter still if I keep the ventilation short and without too many bends. I've not got it exactly figured out yet. I'll use dark room louvers in each flowering room door to cycle air inside the veg and lung rooms, which will be open walk-through style, even though there is a door frame.

@ReikoX - SketchUp is gold for quick simple easy 3D modeling. With a few hours of tinkering pretty much anyone familiar with any imaging software can figure it out. I'd like to have plants in 1 gallon pots, roughly 15" wide and 15-18" tall before going into flower. That may not always happen and it won't be as important running multiple rooms to have a couple weeks of vegging rooted clone into place before flipping.

The other model was posted hastily to give an idea. This one has proper framing. Answers the door question better...LOL.

Hey dank I just bought a blue lab pulse it reads the ec, moisture, and temp of the medium your using. I checked the 90 or so gallons I have on reserve that have been cooking for the last 6 to 8 weeks. This is using the phillthy base mix with the basic amendment recipe. I thought you might like to see the results.

@Trichrider - you better believe one of those 3 flowering rooms is for tossing pollen around and general plant breeding.

@Prodigygrower - Huh. If you can figure out what to do with that information, then I suppose that little gizmo could be useful once you build enough data points over a period of time.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who voted for me in the recent Mars Hydro SP3000 give away. I was fortunate enough to win the light - which means this next round of flower will be under it.

It is very busy on Monday. But i have to announce the winner of this giveaway today.

I checked all the "likes" of each participants. The dank frank got 41 "likes" totally. So he is the winner of this giveaway. Congrats to Dank Frank.

I'm fairly certain this is the highest quality light Mars Hydro has produced yet and I couldn't be more excited to give it a go. Everyone I've talked to using the SP250 is loving it and the SP3000 has many improvements.

If I can get things set up right, I'm actually going to try and do a time lapse on this grow as well. It's something I've always wanted to do but never have for some reason, so I'm going to buckle down and do it.

I've had a lot of personal drama in my life lately. The last 9 months have been absolutely chaotic on so many levels. Both with bad business ventures and an attempted relationship - so much I've been grinding away at and I just couldn't seem to make things work no matter how much effort and passion I put into it - but honestly, I've come out the other side of the really exhausted. My brain is exhausted. My heart sore. My soul tired. My faith in humanity a bit bruised.

For a moment I felt like I had lost myself in all this and the garden began to suffer from neglect. A lack of focus. A lack of dedication. A lack of me. I didn't lose myself though. Truth is, I found a part of myself I had been neglecting - only I chose to share that desire with someone who didn't really earn it and therefore had no appreciate for what she had. I gave too freely and was taken advantage of in so many ways it's literally dumbfounding. I have learned though and I won't repeat the same mistakes.

I love cannabis more than I am honestly able to admit on a day to day basis. This garden expansion comes at a time when I really need to dig into something. When I really need to address who I am at my core. I'm a cannabis grower and breeder - first and foremost.

I've spent the last 7+ years trying to make a go of it "in the real world" - and quite frankly, I fucking hate it. I can't stand the soulless wage slave mentality the whole world seems to operate under. It disgusts me.

I need a drastic change. Cannabis will be the fuel to that fire. Stay tuned.

Code Name: Project Snomoji

Snomoji
is a creation of Genetic Freaked, while working some what under my instructions. We ARE NOT going to tell anyone what the genetics are. We want this to be looked at as it's own strain, as it's own starting point. The seeds are made and will be sprouted very soon. Pure Snomoji will stay in house as a breeding material. Eventually, it will be worked into outcrosses, but that will take time.

The only thing I can really say right now, is we are looking for a commercial cash cropping power house. It must yield. The resin must be off the charts. The terps have to be unique. It must finish flower in 9wks or less. It must have true potency.

We are looking for a winner in this seed line because we know the gene pools can produce true next level herbs. This one is a mission.

I absolutely agree I wish it could determine which Nutrients were being diminished. Idk it will be fun to play with. Here is the reading of one of my Iraqi weddings in a 5 gallon bucket 2 weeks into flower with a 3 week veg they are definitely eating.
I can’t wait to see the snomoji so excited to see what you guys are cooking up. Icmag colab’s are the best.
