One of the things I'm learning is the camera isn't exactly the best for macro because it has an auto noise reduction filter that is a bit aggressive. I need to turn it off completely in manual mode, when I get to that point. The other thing will be trying to figure out how to get the wider focal range at lower ISO - without having perfect lighting. It seems to perform exceptionally well in high light or natural lighting situations though. Just sort of hard to take a bunch of cannabis outside for a photo shoot when it's not exactly a legal thing to possess.

I'll get there at some point. I have a plan on to increase my photo quality. It's something Get Mo and I have discussed on numerous occasions.

Build yourself a lightbox. That should help considerably.

Hey F.A.M. - Thanks! She's tasty af too!!! Taste like OG on steroids but with more sour to the front end of the terp. Not super super potent, but she doesn't seem to have too much of ceiling and her buzz cuts through other strains - meaning, it doesn't seem to matter what you are smoking, if you add the M9 to it, then you know you've smoked her as well.

Trying to figure out this camera still:

Thanks for the good vibes, Nickman! Looking forward to watching you work with that LED. I know your quality will go up even more if the heat is removed from the equation. :respect:

London Loud #9 - she was the one early on that had a superior resin quality to her siblings - it was much more tacky. She ended up being slightly stronger than her siblings, but her yields were the lowest. Kind of how it goes, generally.

Amazing photos frank. I just pulled down the numbers from running 2 of the 480’s in a 5x5. The total wa 28 oz. The quality is top shelf no doubt and I’m pretty confident I can pull 1 per light with mono Cropping and with the rite genetics. I thinks these are points you already made and I totally agree. I know your only running 400 watts total but it seems our numbers are similar if we break down watts per square ft and this is also using a similar water only amended soil recipe since I’m using your basic amendment recipe in phillthy’s base mix. I had a couple hiccups in this run twards the end temps got into the 90’s and humidity was a lil high a day or two but this might be some of the frosty, sticky most pungent herb I have ever grown. There definitely a learning curve running these lights but once things are dialed in you can do some pretty decent numbers with them and quality is top shelf as well. Again killer pics broksi karma definitely never disappoints.

Thanks again for the kind words!

@Prodigygrower - I pulled 26 last time under the 2 x 315w. I think this Mochiesel will hit 2#.

Intrested in hearing how the london loud smokes ?Quite the pairing two very strong and unique flavor profiles
Not something I would think of mixing.Wonder if one side is dominant ?
Maybe ill read back a little to see if this has been discussed

@fitzera - Thank you! #4 is an odd pheno. I'm not sure what to think yet. Blessing in disguise, maybe. I don't often want to have a plant tested - this one I do. I want to know it's terp profile. I let and older smoker smell it and their eyes lit up and their lips broke into a grin, and said, "oh nice, old school skunk". My chin like to have hit the floor - because, yes there is a very slight nuance to the smell, but personally, I think it is very mono-terpene, very muted, very not "loud" - the polar opposite of it, in fact. But yes, when you break it up, it will flood the room with a bit of odd smell, that is not really present in most modern herb. The only other time I have ever smelt this nuance in a cannabis flower, was in the UK Livers aka UK Blues cut, another late 80's Skunk#1 selection from the UK - go figure.

The curse side of it - she just doesn't do it for me, terp wise, no matter how pretty she is or how chunky the buds are. The blessing side of it says, this is a flawless plant on many fronts - and if you put the right male to her, that can add some proper flavor - and if her unique old school sort of mono-terp profile gets passed forward as a nuance or undertone in the next filial generation - then there could be some really nice flowers build off her.

Otherwise - I'm really not sure how I feel about the entire London Loud cluster of phenos I have. Keep reading though - you'll understand why in a moment.

@Nickman - keeping up with the details, yeah? LOL. :respect: - Yes. I had MAC1 and let her die. I'll say this - I've been kicking myself since doing it. Well, I went to hang out with a friend before they started these stay at home orders and brought home a few flavors to try out. I was fairly certain the LED's weren't going to provide enough to give me enough for an uninterrupted supply till the next harvest, so...I went for the grab bag approach. I've been smoking:

Dosido x Stardawg Ix
Mandarin Cookies
GG#4
Slurricane
Tahoe OG
Blue Dream
Cookies and Cream
Corey Haim Stardawg
Lazy Lightning (3 year cure)
Cherry Cookies (2 year cure)

and...

MAC1

I don't really know how this became my life - but here I am. Smoking some of the finest ganja on the face of the planet earth - grown by persons with the right intentions. Testing lights with an odd spectrum. Testing restricted genetics. Growing cannabis, at all.

I wish I had known this was an option for life in grade school...

However, after smoking the MAC1 - It's NOT BAD. My lady friend was really enjoying it and Blue Dream on all fronts - I left her with a bit of both.

She's on that Mochiesel tick now though...and I can't really blame her. The flavor of M9 is just profound. It almost doesn't matter she doesn't rock your skull after the first hit, because she taste so good, you're going to end up smoking more regardless.

More importantly - having the wide range of variety at my disposal currently, I am able to say confidently, the buzz from M9 does in fact cut through and make itself known, no matter what else I smoke. Not in a way that it over powers anything, but it will add to - you know you have smoked something else. That isn't exactly a common feature - and cuts like Chem D have gotten their value in heavy smoking circles for this exact reason.

@trichrider - Not 100% sure yet. Chaco's Sour Valley OG did not root unfortunately. MegaRawTen's Lazy Lightning and MeltingPot's Lucifer OG x Chem Sis, and the M9 cut, are vegging away.

I made a huge mistake and got the Chem Sis x Pure Kush mom caught up in a culling. I have two plants in the soil bed still - re-vegging currently. Since the Mochiesel and the Sis/PK both want to run 11wks - I see them as two excellent plants to run together. Half a room of each on repeat and I don't really think I'd be complaining about what I had to smoke...ever. It's sort of why I like seed so much. I like finding my own path - but it's almost irrelevant, if you don't have a few elites to form a comparative basis upon which to make those seed selections. It's a bit of a conundrum - except - we have ICmag, which sort of puts that endless hunt to and end - if and only if - people post honest opinions about what they are growing and puffing, rather than participating in a bandwagon.

:joint:

With things are the way they are, this next round needs to be more production focused. I know M9 and Lazy will be in the mix though. Means some down time between rounds again, but at the same time, that works because I need to re-veg and that takes time.

@GeorgeWBush - Not 100% sure on how most of these things smoke without a cure, but I'll say as far as terps go, the selection of plants I have are definitely Cheese dominant in terpene profile, but more sour in bud structure. The effects seem to blend seamlessly with not as much head as regular sour though - it's hard to tell you aren't just smoking Cheese, to be honest. I expect that to change after a bit of a cure. There are 5 different phenos - only one of them has a slight Sour twinge.

In most people's gardens, I think these are grade A plants. Not sure I really did them justice though. One side never got screened and the terps on that side of the same cuts was notably stronger, I must admit.

I look at the pictures and I see bare spots where there is no resin and I know that is from putting on the screen late and sort of abusing these colas a bit more than I ever would normally. I'm not 1000% confident in my review of the potency on anything this run either, considering I'm using new light tech. I think most of these present will be getting a second run, with the only exception being, those that showed the highest level of sensitivity to my errors along the way.

I appreciate everyone following along and asking questions. I try to be as honest as I can about where I see my faults that have limited the potential of any plant I run. I know I can do better next round. I think you'll get used to me saying that!!!

:respect:
