Hi Guys,
I actually came here to ask Medfinder a question. I read on a different thread that you use fairly large rockwool cubes and then to coco. My question is...do you bury the cube or just plop it on top of the coco. Trying to come up with a veg strategy using rockwool.

I made some crosses during my last grow 6 years ago...and am just now getting back to it.

Had a beautiful sativa dom White Widow female I grew for 3 years. But no male. So I crossed it with a Black Pearl male. BP is from High Grade Seeds in Canada and for me, was a strong and powerful growing strain. So I'll try and crack those this winter sometime.

Also had a nice original haze I crossed with a Brazilian Sativa. Hard to grow but I like to smoke sativas.

I've got a Chem Kesey male Chem 91 (SKVA) x 88G13/HP that I've hit to a Sunshine 4.
The Male & all his sisters are 88g13/HP dominate in their growth and aromas. I might make some CK F2's as well but I need bud this season and have another pack to sort through. Only reason this male still exists is because My lil bro was going to make some seeds with him. He left the grow so it's my PJ now.



Hoping for a BUNCH of seed from this cross to sort through and hand out.


I gave away a nice PTK male to a friend. Hope he makes some nice crosses as well.

Ive made a couple of auto x photo across s. Seeds will be ready in a month. 99percent of seeds will flower like an auto during summer and be ready long before pure photos start to flower .

Just from reading what you've written, I'm not so positive you understand how the auto trait expresses itself. BUT, it's actually one of the easiest traits to lock down and breed 100% true.



If your crosses are all first generation every single plant (100%) will act like a photo plant and none will be auto.


Once you make a second generation, from the first generation, you will only see 25% auto-flowering types & 75% photo types.


If you choose to breed ONLY auto types for the 3rd generation, you should lock in the auto flowering trait and have 100% auto flowering types as long as inbreeding continues down that particular line.

I'm curious what your plan is for the GIANT seeds?
Those would be Chinese Yunan if I recall correctly.
They were bred to be used as food from what I've read.

Depending on the selection of the mother and father I may cross Pakistani Chitral Kush to Hindu Kush and call it Kush Overload! Just to see what comes of it lol cannabis is fucking awesome

Yes, I believe them to be Yunnan because that is the region of china that has the world's largest seed variety, they're certainly Chinese but I can't say with 100% certainty because the region or variety was not specified on the packaging or known by the UK company I ordered them through.

The seeds were very vigorous growers that I'd originally bought to "feed the birds" with ;-) I tried a few indoors a couple of times and they the soon towered over indoor varieties of the same age from germination. Although they're bred for food those large seeds with their additional reserves of energy seem (to me at least) to also get a bit of a head start, if nothing else it'll make my strains stand out, if it really does help the seedlings establish that could be a useful trait to combine with the auto or super auto allele.

The F1 seeds are just pretty standard cannabis seeds but I think that seed phenotype is more a reflection of mother's phenotype than that of the seed? Also unclear how complex the inheritance is, it's a lot of unknown tbh going to pop them as soon as I can, hoping to pass out some seeds so other people can have a play if I can get them to F3 seeds because that's the first point when I'm expecting to see the trait expressed

Without knowing anything about the lineage of the plants I'd say go f2, that's the point where you get greatest phenotypic diversity to pick your best mothers/seed parents from.
