Crosses you have made or plan to make?

. Gotcha MJP and are there one or two crosses that you feel look more interesting than others? From my end, and when looking at flowering times, the destroyer and KM crosses présent the most benefits. SSH doesn't need Spice to be great for example buy then again you never know what nature Will give you and there are always unexpected nice surprises.

If I had to choose I'd use the two extremes and go with the MLI and Destroyer.


I don't care for the Durban & I don't know a whole lot about the others.

The Buddha Tahoe OG fem smells like grapefruits and orange peels. The hybrid already has a nice citrus scent.

Hi MJP, thanks for thoughts. There's been a few changes In A few days, my KM is male and looks like my destroyer will be the same. I'm starting to collect pollen and rethinking my crosses. Plan is now to cross MLI and KM together, Spice with Durban, SSH with KM and need to think of rest of crosses I can do. If Destroyer turns out to be a male, I Will cross it with MLI.

Sunshine 3 (Multiple MI Cup Winner, it's not SS4 folks, it's really SS3) x MAC (baconator, smells like smoked bacon)

Starfighter f1 x MAC (kinda Starfighter bx)

MAC f2s (looking for more males), two of my females remind me of my old '95 AK47 (old school -only way I can describe it-with smaller flowers and thick short pistils - AK was favorite plant I've ever grown), other two are alike but different than these two (massive orange cream scented flowers with long thin pistils)

Hawaiian Snow (onion haze)x MAC Onions and Bacon in plant form sounds great to this vegan (I made charcuterie as a chef before I stopped eating meat a few years back, I always say the only way I'll taste that flavor again in in cannabis, fingers crossed)

Platinum S1s (In House... frostiest line on the planet?) x MAC

Skunky Brewsters (Strayfox) x MAC

Skywalker Auto (Mephisto) x MAC - dipping into autos, a lot of fun

amazing!! Such good ideas and old school cuts,
another thing I have to say is if that blueberry
you have smells like muffins or cake batter......

hiatus, it was a long and rewarding road

going to get up and pull out the seeds I have
to make this post better - it's been a while!!!!

But before I grab my seed collection - I have
new seeds I traded a huge red gandalf for to
a seed vendor at Hempfest this year, I scored
a pack of Lemon Meringue from exoticgenetix.

Now that I finally grabbed my seed collection-

Amity Purple (krunkz kreations)

Hashplant X Phantom Cookies (hatch)

out of these strains what should i hit the best
Lemon Meringue male and female to? its hard
to fantasize about it because it's a hobby i want
back into very bad....so which strains sound the
very best..I might want to pick up more to play
with if I get back into gardening, if i do it's soon.

if you are serious about starting back up I would hit up People under the stairs on IG his 4DD crosses are insane. I think @theseedsource has them he also has some of MeltingPots Sour crosses which are also fire.

Just from reading what you've written, I'm not so positive you understand how the auto trait expresses itself. BUT, it's actually one of the easiest traits to lock down and breed 100% true.



If your crosses are all first generation every single plant (100%) will act like a photo plant and none will be auto.


Once you make a second generation, from the first generation, you will only see 25% auto-flowering types & 75% photo types.


If you choose to breed ONLY auto types for the 3rd generation, you should lock in the auto flowering trait and have 100% auto flowering types as long as inbreeding continues down that particular line.

I'm pretty sure I understand how it works. Since I've been growing the photo x auto seeds outdoors for 4 seasons. They Finnish 3 to 4 months before photos seeds.

Can’t say as they all were pollinated with pollen from all 4 males, same mix I used for the open pollination. Honestly there isn’t a lot of variation in the females; I did get a more structurally indica female (have all females backed up in clone) but even this is pretty similar to the sat leaners and and the median plants.

Calio crosses

Calio crosses

My first ever attempt at making seeds is inspired by calio. Had her in the early 2000's, should have made seeds, have regretted it ever since.
I a man about to pop some Uzbek x calio, and have c+ (Chimera) on the way.
For the Uzbek x calio I intend to collect pollen from any males, and pollinate 1-2 branches from each female with each type of pollen, and keep cuttings of each female as best I can, may have to guess and only keep a few, time will tell, depends how many I get.
I'll then pop c+ and do the same, but also use pollen from Uzbek x calio
Males, and keep cuttings of females.
I also plan to go back and hit any of the Uzbek x calio females with any c+ pollen I get.
Needless to say this should get me a lot of seeds with a lot of genetic potential to sift through. I will likely try to select which seeds to start the next round with by what the female clones I've kept flower out like. Ideally I can find some phenos that are very similar to the old calio clone I love.
The traits I recall it having were a delicious realistic orange scent, finishing quickly, like 7-8 weeks(I tended to enjoy close to 7), uplifting high, good yielded that liked to be topped. Not super strong, but I don't mind, it smelled and tasted great, and made me feel good!
Ideally someday I'll find the real cut again, and other things I'd like to use would be the Albert walker clone, jilly bean from tga, and tangie from crocket.

Hi MJP, its my nicest looking plant, very branchy, light green, great structure, clones well too. I've lst'd it, Nugbuckets style, defoliated, responds really well, vert stealthy plant imo. Ran SSH last year and was the best of 8 different crops so expecting greatness with KM. : Biggrin:

Brazillian Seed Company,some say strain is from Paraguay and some claim her motherland is Colombia..

Choco Chiba are sativa dominant but i suspect there is some indy in
those strain.. branches smell pungent on lemon and cream..
there is even some skunky smells coming when i rub a branch..

We will sees what we get..
