Yeah, bye.

Your rants add nothing. The number of logical fallacies and just dumb statements in your post show you aren't very smart or even capable of understanding the big picture. Your typical "poor, picked-on conservative" whining is just pathetic.

Are you even from America? He described what 90% of Americans are worried about regardless of moderate, left, or right political views.

POTUS doesn't set oil prices. Trump was just another Dumbass that can't get anything done that's helps the public. Trump didn't do shit to help anyone but himself. Again people forget Trump was given a Thriving Economy by Obummer.

Policies can effect oil prices, OPEC has more power to inflate prices now that were not pumping oil.

They're just waiting for Biden to run there to touch the orb like the last guy.

This was his first international trip, right? "We just got back from the middle east." he exclaimed in Israel.

it's almost like there was a global pandemic that shut down US commerce and travel for a year and made oil prices hit rock bottom because there was no one on the roads and businesses weren't open and now those prices are increasing again because people are driving, consuming, and working. prolly just a coincidence.

The price of oil pre pandemic was roughly $50 - $55 a barrel, now its $80 and expected to go higher. Gas was roughly $1.90 - $2.00 a gallon, now it's 3.50 and will probably go higher. Biden even said on October 31st that gas prices are expected to go higher because of policies of OPEC. They have a fuck ton of oil reserves so it's not the supply and demand issue you think it is. Prices started to climb after President Biden shut down the proposed extension of the Keystone XL pipeline and started to import oil from the Middle East. The United States was energy independent and exported oil until Biden and the Democrats stopped it. Now, Biden is begging OPEC to import more oil to lower costs lol.

Crude oil held in sea storage hits new record at 160 million bbls: sources
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-g...-idUSKBN21Z2A2

Traders are storing an estimated record 160 million barrels of oil on ships - double the level from two weeks ago as they seek to tackle a glut of stocks created by a slide in global demand from the coronavirus, shipping sources say.

Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other producers including Russia have agreed a record cut in output from May of 9.7 million barrels per day, or almost 10% of global supply, to help support prices and curb oversupply.

At the same time traders have rushed to find storage on land and at sea in what is believed to be the biggest oil glut in history.

The last time floating storage reached levels close to this was in 2009, when traders stored over 100 million barrels at sea before offloading stocks.

The crude market is currently trading in what is known as contango, where forward prices are higher than immediate prices. This market structure encourages traders to park barrels in storage in the hopes of selling them for a profit later.

Even without Keystone XL, U.S. set for record Canadian oil imports
https://www.reuters.com/business/en...s-set-record-canadian-oil-imports-2021-01-22/

Jan 22 (Reuters) - The Keystone XL pipeline project may be dead, but the United States is still poised to pull in record imports of Canadian oil in coming years through other pipelines that are in the midst of expanding.

U.S. President Joe Biden canceled Keystone XL's permit on his first day in office Wednesday, dealing a death blow to a long-gestating project that would have carried 830,000 barrels per day of heavy oil sands crude from Alberta to Nebraska.

Even without Keystone, however, the United States now relies on Canada for more than half of its imported oil. Several of the lines carrying that crude are in the midst of expansions.

"We will be over-piped assuming the other pipelines go ahead on schedule,"
said Wood Mackenzie research director Mark Oberstoetter. "If you add them all up, you can make the argument KXL was not needed."

A) throughout his time in office, trump was constantly begging Saudi to keep the oil taps flowing and keep prices low. He even gave them billions in arms as an incentive.
B) the biggest reason that the frackers aren’t fracking like they used to is because banks won’t lend them money like they used to. That’s probably because of the multitude of bankruptcies resulting in banks not getting their loans repaid. As a result, most of the remaining frackers are having to fund new drilling from current operations and they are not able to drill like they used to.
C) nothing against Canada, but Keystone XL only benefited Canada and did nothing for the US. They weren’t even willing to use US made steel. It was always a bad idea. Let them transport their tar oil through their own country. They have lots of coastline to ship from.

The moron is not finished shutting down energy 'pipe lines' from Canada to the US. He's got the Teamsters on his side who now have to transport the oil, that was going to be transported by pipeline, to the US. Creating a trucking shortage up and down the coast lines.
Add the ridiculous COVID mandates and there is the bottleneck created. A friend that sells tires cant get them because there is no conduit to get them to south florida from the manufacturer. Your politicians (and their media outlets) are the 1% elite 'privileged' they are claiming should pay more taxes but are provided (by your politicians) loop holes to avoid those taxes for the most part.. Notice how they point the finger at privileged white folk, they hide behind divisional politics like racism and others to incite the simple minds of the liberal public..

I know... I'm the one with a simple mind.. keeping you from being the first.. :moon:

How are these pipelines getting right of ways? Let’s imagine a group of folks don’t want it in their area they’re not allowed a choice, or shady deals are made. Who steps in? Can I make them go around my property?
