If there was a case at CDC, the Secret Service would not let Trump Go. I believe it is because he is pissed off at the CDC for this BS, which continues. I would like to see what their budget has been for the last years since the last pandemic blew through. Is it their responsibility to be the lead agency in the USA for this kind of thing? Why do other countries have test kits and CDC only has tests for their own employees?

Thanks for posting about that other weed. That plant sounds like it and I need to meet each other.

This article says people smoke it to improve their lungs and throat. Sounds like a great experiment for the Volcano. It would be interesting to get the stuff run through a test like they do with dope, for terps and actives.

Third Washington state nursing home reports coronavirus infection
A resident of a nursing home in Issaquah, Washington tested positive last night for the novel coronavirus, according to Eastside Fire Deputy Chief Rich Burke.

The patient has since been transferred from the facility to a local hospital, and three firefighters who responded to the scene have self-Qurantine...

Exclusive: The Strongest Evidence Yet That America Is Botching Coronavirus Testing
“I don’t know what went wrong,” a former CDC chief told The Atlantic.

This number would give a sense of how widespread the disease is, and how forceful a response to it the United States is mustering. But for days, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has refused to publish such a count, despite public anxiety and criticism from Congress. On Monday, Stephen Hahn, the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, estimated that “by the end of this week, close to a million tests will be able to be performed” in the United States. On Wednesday, Vice President Mike Pence promised that “roughly 1.5 million tests” would be available this week.

But the number of tests performed across the country has fallen far short of those
Through interviews with dozens of public-health officials and a survey of local data from across the country, The Atlantic could only verify that 1,895 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the United States, about 10 percent of whom have tested positive. And while the American capacity to test for the coronavirus has ramped up significantly over the past few days, local officials can still test only several thousand people a day, not the tens or hundreds of thousands indicated by the White House’s promises.

To arrive at our estimate, we contacted the public-health departments of all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We gathered data on websites, and we corresponded with dozens of state officials. All 50 states and D.C. have made some information available, though the quality and timeliness of the data varied widely. Some states have only committed to releasing their numbers once or three times a week

There have been far fewer people in the stores, and everyone kind of keeps their distance. I brought a baggy with paper towel soaked in alcohol, to wipe down the shopping cart handle

Those "Miscellaneous uses" look OK to me!

I have really abused my throat and lungs in the past. The last few years I have been using a Volcano and working on not coughing. I have recently been using a whip instead of a bag. One thing I am convinced of is that when I keep from going too far into cooking off the goodies and start evaporating ,in qty, a certain burnt bark kind of smelly stuff that makes me cough in rejection, my lungs have been feeling a lot better. My asthma is at a point I don't use the inhaler much, if at all. A blast of terps without the bad agent makes the lungs feel good. No more hacking up crap, no more coughing in the early morning.

I kinda tried to breech the subject with the lung doc as he was giving me another annual subscription for the inhalers. He didn't want to hear of it.

Some terps are good for the lungs. euclyptis? Anyways, I wouldn't know where to get any, and don't remember seeing any growing. Weeds love my place, so maybe I should try a plant.

Jane Goodall, who has devoted he life to the study of the great apes, was shockingly direct and blunt in her analysis of how the Corona virus came about in the first place.

Ms. Goodall placed the blame for this Corona virus outbreak, and that of the SARS epidemic before it, squarely on the habit of the Chinese to devour everything that moves, from endangered pangolins, to tiger bone, to bear gall bladder, to monkeys, dogs, cats, rats, bats and even insects like beetles and termites.

Ms. Goodall is of the opinion that pathogens residing in wild animals with no detrimental effects on their health, can become the vectors of pandemics in the HUMAN population, once people go out of their way to eat those critters, and thus ingest microbes that then quickly mutate into deadly, rapidly transmitted agents of mass human death.

Even if Ms. Goodall's perspective is not entirely accurate from a clinical point of view, there truly is something utterly bizarre about the planet's most densely populated nation ALWAYS leading the rankings when it comes to devouring strange, disgusting and potentially diseased life forms.

With the sheer diversity of fauna that the Chinese catch and ingest, it is at least safe to assume that China will ALWAYS be the planet's petri dish, for just about every new pandemic that scorches its way through the human population.

Before anyone suggests that the foregoing opinion carries racist undertones, let me just add that I personally have enormous respect for MOST aspects of Chinese culture, from the devastating effectiveness of their martial arts systems, to the rich history of traditional medicine exemplified by acupuncture and reflexology, to the current leadership role China plays in technological innovation.

That said, I do share the rage and disgust expressed by Ms. Jane Goodall, about the bizarre eating habits of the Chinese, and the effects suffered by everyone else in direct consequence of that compulsive culinary experimentation.

Cool, sounds like you are good at perspective and know how to read between the lines. :tiphat:
Eucalyptis for me works best when added to water and dropped on the hot coals in a sauna....

Bit of pine oil or turpentine on the chest can also help, unless you've allergy. Both has antiviral properties too.

A Dutch couple who got infected by covid-19 during their ski holiday was interviewed by a Dutch newspaper on the phone.

We talked about this while smoking joints and coughing in a crowd of people hanging after a show last night. None of us were drinking corona though. Lots of white claw though, I hope its not contagious.

There has been a lot of talk in the media that this disease is being blown out of proportion. Let’s remember that World leaders are almost exclusively old men.

So what demographic is most at risk from this disease... mmmmm.

I purposely cultivate it in my garden. Been drinking mullein tea nearly ten years now along with nettle yarrow and lemon balm. 1 Tbsp/12 oz boiling water steeped 10 min is my way. My immune system has been compromised from 3 known cancers with another waiting to pounce.

you can be proactive or reactive when it comes to ever changing viral threats

I prefer the former

Mr. Swazi, the articles I have read state it is a very aggressive weed, the last thing we need around here, but it may already be growing in the wild. Since you are growing it, is the spreading as bad as they make it out to be? If this stuff works, I could see that leaf being part of a good "CBD" store's wares. Certainly mine.

As for saunas and aroma, as a kid we lived in a neighborhood that had a community pool. There were saunas in the men's locker-room. Being kids, we thought it was fun to piss on the hot rocks when we were done with our sauna.

Yeah, I've been an asshole my whole life.
