I hope for one thing above everything else: That people don't lose their mind and calm over this cough.

A weaponised virus, with any credibility, Isn't going to stop at 10%. Limiting panic is the only game play we have seen. As it becomes impossible to hide the truth, figures closer to the truth must come out. As we can't find out for ourselves. They must tell us first to stay in charge.

Only figures here that anyone has put their name to, are around that 10%. These are the early figures.. 20% will not surprise me.

Just washing your hands? welp i can do that
I know you can do it. But will you? lol

A friend of mine sells crap at a farmers Market on Sundays. He had some old milk cans he cleaned up, spray painted them with Tremclad Rust paint, stuck some leaves on them and varnished the can and put an $85 sticker on it. Beautiful. One lady was looking at a can and said "I want one for the porch" to her husband, and he said "I can make one for you" and they left. 5 minutes later the lady showed up minus her husband and bought one. lol.

Should the take-away close the doors and offer delivery only, paid by card?

Dutch coronavirus infections soar to 82, sharp rise was expected.

More hospital staff hit by coronavirus in the Netherlands.

Coronavirus has been confirmed in more hospital workers – this time a nurse working at the Catharina hospital in Eindhoven and a trainee doctor at the Jeroen Bosch hospital in Den Bosch, health officials have told Dutch media. On Wednesday, Amsterdam’s OLVG hospital group closed its oral and facial surgery department at both locations after a worker tested positive for coronavirus following their return from holiday in Italy. The trainee doctor is thought to have picked up the virus from a patient who was later diagnosed with the disease. He is being treated at home and the eight patients on the ward he was working on before his diagnosis have been placed in quarantine. The nurse too is thought to have been infected by patient who was later diagnosed with the disease. Patients she was working with have also been placed in quarantine and tested for the virus. The public health institute RIVM confirmed on Wednesday that 15 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Netherlands, taking the total number of patients up to 38. Coronavirus in the Netherlands, what you need to know Most of those diagnosed with the disease were either in northern Italy in February or are related to someone who was there. Officials are still trying to establish the cause of several infections and if there is a common link with the Tilburg Carnaval celebrations. Protocol Meanwhile, the Dutch government is following protocol for dealing with potential crises ‘by the book’, according to the AD. ‘Ministers are not openly speculating about measures which might be necessary in the future’ and although these have been discussed in the cabinet, they are not being shared with the public ‘to prevent panic’, the paper said. Health minister Bruno Bruins’ role, the AD said, is to remain calm, follow the recommendations of the RIVM, and to be open about what is going on. Promises Claiming everything is under control, as US president Donald Trump has done, would not work in the Netherlands, the paper said. ‘The Dutch have more faith in a politician who does not make wild promises but does show he is doing his best,’ the paper says. That approach would appear to be working. A poll for the AD showed 75% have confidence in the cabinet’s approach to the crisis while polls for the EenVandaag current affairs show indicate confidence in the cabinet is growing. ‘The people we talk to say what they want most is information,’ pollster Gijs Rademaker told the AD. ‘When Bruins and the RIVM began communicating about what they are doing and explaining why we are not closing borders but insisting we should wash our hands, that brought a sense of calm.’

As it's not instant death, the infected number is of no use statistically. Except to say the number of infected doubles each day. Here in the UK they think half of cases will be appear in a 3 week window, with 95% of cases within 2 months.

The outcome figures are what I find useful. Italy seems to be being open about things. With about 450 people having got through it alive, and 150 dead. The thousands ill could go either way, but in the UK over half of cases are kept in hospital, because the care you can give yourself at home isn't enough.

This looks strongly like a 25% chance of death, and with such statistic, I have to join the at risk list to.

Soon one of us is going to post they have it...
