Meanwhile we have a curfew and riots because of the curfew.

Watching those riots convinced me that a large slice of any given population, is made up of people who treasure their freedom of movement much more than they value staying alive and disease free.

It truly boggles my mind to see those screeching hordes engaging the police in running street battles, simply because they feel IMMUNE to a virus that is so utterly cruel in the way it kills by suffocation. How so many people could imagine themselves to be super-human is a mystery I will never unravel for as long as I live.

Those riots will directly result in their own crushing tidal wave of new infections and deaths, in just a few short weeks from now, yet those rioters don't seem to have a care in the world. It truly is amazing to behold.

You know; "Tragedy is something that happens to others, not my family, and..." It is a very adolescent-minded reality, if reflective of reality at all.

This means out of 100 'recovered' Covid-victims 1.125 persons die soon. Or 11.25 out of 1000. Or 1125 out of 100.000.

Germany got right now 1.900.000 'recovered':

This means Germany got not 55.000 Covid-deaths, but more than 76.000 Covid-deaths.

some really nasty long-term damage is starting to show in some "survivors"...are you really "surviving" if you die from long-term damage a couple of years later? i've known of people that got charged with murder when complications resulting from a years-old shooting or knife attack proved fatal. no statute of limitations when you die...

Stay strong brother, and remember that the odds are overwhelmingly in favor of your making a full recovery. Make sure you get enough sleep, and eat well even if your appetite isn't up to par.

Might be a good time to stay with edibles as appetite stimulants, while setting aside the vaporizer until you are back on even keel and sailing calm waters again.

I didn't grow up in a religious household, but my prayers are with you right now all the same. Get well soon. Best wishes from time-zones distant.
