Four people who attended the portion of the Republican National Convention that was held in Charlotte, North Carolina, earlier this week have tested positive for COVID-19.

Mecklenburg County officials said Friday that two convention attendees and two individuals supporting the event have tested positive so far. The individuals have been told to quarantine and their known contacts have been issued isolation instructions as well.

Mecklenberg County Public Health said additional details would be published later in an “After Action Report” unless a “recognized threat” to public health requires their more urgent release.

RNC attendees and support staff took a total of nearly 800 COVID-19 tests during the Charlotte event, including prior to and immediately after delegates’ arrival.

But photos and video from the event itself, where more than 300 delegates gathered at the Charlotte Convention Center for an in-person roll call on Monday, show attendees largely ignored MCPH’s public health guidelines.

Few of the delegates wore masks as they stood close together, and some shook hands with one another. President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence both attended in person, making surprise speeches.

Mecklenburg Public Health Director Gibbie Harris told the Charlotte Observer that she expressed concern to the RNC on Monday after witnessing delegates’ conduct via the convention livestream.

“I have just shared concern about the lack of mask wearing and social distancing in the room at the RNC Roll Call Meeting,” Harris said.

“I have been assured that they are working hard to address these issues. All attendees agreed to comply with the requirements prior to attending and were informed that these requirements would be enforced.”

Nationally, at least 4,024 Americans died from COVID-19 during the Republican National Convention’s four-day duration this week.

Just stoned and wondering- maybe if these individuals actually had the flu/other virus at first, falsely tested positive for Covid- then recovered only to catch the real thing at a later date.
May explain why there’s not many cases like this- after all, the tests have a small margin of error, if I’m not mistaken.

That could very well be the explanation, mr. bunch. Or, testing wasn't done properly. Have an RN friend who was tested early on in March, then again a few weeks ago. She said the test was different, meaning they did it differently than this one, the RotoRooter up the nasal passage.

nasal passage test is done differently in different locations. they spun it until i was bleeding from both nostrils here; but folks i work with said it never got that far with them. different procedures will have different results often.

Sitting here subjecting my dog to some more of my weak guitar playing, in between hits of some rather tasty lemon weed, I got to thinking, which can on rare occasion be a good thing.

Reading over this particular thread, for example, and of course refraining from nodding towards any of the usual suspects as a courtesy, I have been struck by the diligence, perseverance, and dogged effort exerted by our eminent tenured conspiracy theorists here, all in furtherance of that innate compulsion to convert those who they regards as blissfully ignorant, and persuade them to shed objective rationality, so as to boldly enter their world of make-believe.

Looking at the corona virus pandemic, as a typical subject about which opinions abound, the Grand Order of Preposterous Fairy Tale Believers has been very hard at work, both on and offline, urgently cajoling and brow-beating all who steadfastly prefer a world-view grounded firmly on the bedrock of peer-reviewed, scientifically endorsed facts and data.

Anyway, I'd best get back to pickin' and a grinnin here, because my damn dog seems to be nodding off...

The scientist who invented the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test kit was Kary B. Mullis. This technology is what they use today to test for the so-called coronavirus, said to be the cause of a disease which the health authorities such as the World Health Organizations (WHO) vaguely and inconsistently defined or identified. Mullis is among the many scientists who bravely question the narrative of the HIV-AIDS hypothesis. Mullis did not believe what the mainstream, globalist elite-funded, science is claiming that the HIV retrovirus is causing the AIDS disease. He was an important member of the “Group for the Reappraisal of the HIV-AIDS Hypothesis, the 500-member protest organization pushing for a re-examination of the cause of AIDS”. According to him on his 1992 Spin interview, “PCR made it easier to see that certain people are infected with HIV and some of those people came down with symptoms of AIDS. But that doesn’t begin even to answer the question, ‘Does HIV cause it?’”


According to Mullis himself, PCR cannot be totally and should never be used as a tool in “the diagnosis of infectious diseases.” This is the main reason why Mullis disagreed with the scientists who are behind the HIV-AIDS hypothesis. He defied the mainstream notion that “the disease-causing mechanisms of HIV are simply too “mysterious” to comprehend. According to him, “The mystery of that damn virus has been generated by the $2 billion a year they spend on it. You take any other virus, and you spend $2 billion, and you can make up some great mysteries about it too.” He also added that, “Human beings are full of retrovirus. We don’t know if it is hundreds or thousands or hundreds of thousands. We’ve only recently started to look for them. But they’ve never killed anybody before. People have always survived retroviruses.”
With regards to the current coronavirus crisis, which some believed to be deceptively manufactured and engineered, this situation of the HIV-AIDS phenomena that Kary Mullis decries about is not far or different. However, the reaction of the authorities today globally is more severe while also tragically preposterous as they put up policies and protocols that are obviously violating the citizen’s constitutional rights while also destroying the economy, making life miserable and harder for ordinary people that even several police officers across the US, for example, reacted and complained.
To learn more about why this crisis is ridiculously based on faulty “science”, let’s hear what other experts say about the coronavirus testing.
According to Jason Hommel, a prolific writer and researcher and also the author of the very important article regarding coronavirus testing entitled “Scientists Say the COVID19 Test Kits Do Not Work, Are Worthless, and Give Impossible Results”:
“PCR basically takes a sample of your cells and amplifies any DNA to look for ‘viral sequences’, i.e. bits of non-human DNA that seem to match parts of a known viral genome. The problem is the test is known not to work. It uses ‘amplification’ which means taking a very very tiny amount of DNA and growing it exponentially until it can be analysed. Obviously any minute contaminations in the sample will also be amplified leading to potentially gross errors of discovery. Additionally, it’s only looking for partial viral sequences, not whole genomes, so identifying a single pathogen is next to impossible even if you ignore the other issues.The idea these kits can isolate a specific virus like COVID-19 is nonsense.”

Oops, I was slow on the response, others have pointed out the same as I am relating.

Tests can find the remnant virus in the blood so what strain the person had can be positively identified.
When two sets of virus fragments are found with incompatible mutations then the obvious answer is the person has been infected a second time with a new version.

Anecdotes of folks getting sick twice are not the source of these findings. Actual science was used by people fully as smart as any of us are.

Final distillation: mutations allow a second infection of the virus. That is all we currently know.
