well, hope you find a Rolex.

what kind of metal detector would you suggest for more geology type prospecting ?

basically looking for masses of mostly dry clay that has flour gold mixed in.

also, metallic objects buried under 5 feet of compost - what metal detector do you get for that ?

I missed the good used deals for a detector, may end up paying retail.

I wonder, what is the difference between the expensive ones & something like the Garrett Ace 250 ($200) ?

Ya..it was heartbreaking to see a mom and daughter lost there car keys in the sand ...I tried my best and couldn't find the car key for them...they sounded like inland empire drivers...

I have an used whites gold master 4a. Picked up off ebay 129.00...

Look of tracker 4... or used garret metal detectors.

We are going to Ortega 74 and do creek samples.

Gpaa has claims in different states so thinking about getting a used keen dry washer with gas pump.

Here's the Shockingly Small Number of People Who Died From Only the Coronavirus

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website disclosed the shockingly small number of people who died from only the Wuhan coronavirus, with no other cause of death mentioned. Hold on to your hat because here it is: out of the 161,392 deaths in the CDC data, just six percent, about 9,700 deaths, were attributed to the coronavirus alone. According to the CDC, the other 94 percent had an average of 2.6 additional conditions or causes of deaths, such as heart disease, diabetes, and sepsis.

Understanding the Numbers: Provisional Death Counts and COVID-19
Provisional death counts deliver the most complete and accurate picture of lives lost to COVID-19. They are based on death certificates, which are the most reliable source of data and contain information not available anywhere else, including comorbid conditions, race and ethnicity, and place of death.
How it Works

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) uses incoming data from death certificates to produce provisional COVID-19 death counts. These include deaths occurring within the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
NCHS also provides summaries that examine deaths in specific categories and in greater geographic detail, such as deaths by county and by race and Hispanic origin.
COVID-19 deaths are identified using a new ICD–10 code. When COVID-19 is reported as a cause of death – or when it is listed as a “probable” or “presumed” cause — the death is coded as U07.1. This can include cases with or without laboratory confirmation.
Why These Numbers are Different

Provisional death counts may not match counts from other sources, such as media reports or numbers from county health departments. Counts by NCHS often track 1–2 weeks behind other data.

  • Death certificates take time to be completed. There are many steps to filling out and submitting a death certificate. Waiting for test results can create additional delays.
  • States report at different rates. Currently, 63% of all U.S. deaths are reported within 10 days of the date of death, but there is significant variation between states.
  • It takes extra time to code COVID-19 deaths. While 80% of deaths are electronically processed and coded by NCHS within minutes, most deaths from COVID-19 must be coded by a person, which takes an average of 7 days.
  • Other reporting systems use different definitions or methods for counting deaths.
Things to know about the data

Provisional counts are not final and are subject to change. Counts from previous weeks are continually revised as more records are received and processed.
Provisional data are not yet complete. Counts will not include all deaths that occurred during a given time period, especially for more recent periods. However, we can estimate how complete our numbers are by looking at the average number of deaths reported in previous years.
Death counts should not be compared across states. Some states report deaths on a daily basis, while other states report deaths weekly or monthly. State vital record reporting may also be affected or delayed by COVID-19 related response activities.
For more detailed technical information, visit the Provisional Death Counts for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Technical Notes page.

global hoax. quit worrying, you have an immune system for a reason. if you're unhealthy, that's a different concern...isolate.

Try looking up deaths from only influenza.
People die from the complications of the disease, like pneumonia.
Try looking up deaths from only HIV.
People die from the complications of the disease.
Same is true with lots of other diseases.
Covid19 can enter various cells in the body through ACE2receptor sites. These receptor sites can be found in the lungs, heart, kidneys and throughout your arteries and veins. As a result, people are dying from pneumonia, kidney failure, various clot associated events like heart attacks, strokes, etc.

I'm only going to post links occasionally like Gypsy Nirvana asked me to.

I feel like everyone needs to see this video which was banned on other platforms like youtube! She talks about how nanotechnology components in the Covid 19 Moderna RNA vaccine can monitor things about a person such as presence of cannabis. The new world order will make cannabis illegal. Please let me know what you think! I have personally researched and read source information of much of what she is speaking about. This is pretty serious guys.

Please share! Thanks for allowing me to post this!

Some are dying from stupidity

Perhaps more than a few such adventurous souls are simply dying to explore the concept of life after death.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I am in no hurry at all, to try and unravel that particular mystery.

THANKS !

I think I've been over-stating what I need.

All I want is something that will detect a coin buried under 2,3,4, or 5 feet of compost.

in both dry and wet conditions. I have the impression that water makes it more difficult for the circuitry to work.

I thought I wanted something fancier, that could detect masses of flour gold (tiny particles mixed in with clay), but I already have more of that than I can deal with.

Actually where I live the biggest task is digging under the ancient compost to the actual rocks on old creek-beds.

Sometimes I pick out a site or hole by hand - where I handle every large rock, and look at it, and look at every hand-full of small rocks, to see if there's any metallized rocks. With gold and copper.

No Good sitting in a corner thinking about all this stuff.

I'll take some gold and some coins & compost and go down to the local mining shop and ask for a lesson.

They take American Express. :jump:

"is there any chance you'll do a trade for Cannabis ?" i think i already know the answer to that question.

My Dad was a huge fan of his metal detectors. When he saw an old overgrown/abandoned homestead in the spring he'd pull over, take out his tools and go hunting around the buildings. He said "people used to bury their money." :) He never found anything worthwhile, but the beach he lived on would produce goodies.

He had 2. A powerful one (down a couple feet I guess), and one for gold. I have no idea what brand. He also had a prospector's licence and would send stuff he'd found in the hills to get tested.

He also would threaten someone he didn't like with something like "I'll stake a fucking claim on your front lawn." lol.
