By "people" you must not mean me, because I frequently bring up how many people that Bush and Trump have killed. They're all murderers. Obama's drone program was especially heinous because at one point their own reports showed that the program could only even identify 1 out of 10 people who it was killing. We can't pretend Obama isn't a murderous psychopath because of some political theater about how supposedly the Republicans hated Obama. They loved him; he was one of them.

Jeremy Scahill did a fair bit of investigative reporting re. loose intel requirements used by CIA and others to send in Hell Fire Missiles, vaporizing and roasting unknown persons; especially Pakistani targets.

The irony with BHO was that the guy received a Nobel Peace Prize, post haste, which I'm still not convinced wasn't some sort of door prize, like... for showing up, considering his Administration's military actions abroad that followed...

But the correlation or reference re. death panels was, if I interpreted it correctly, a cynical metaphor or analogy (double entendre) by our Canadian friend, re. prioritizing of medical treatment, etc., in our current state.

In that regard, it was likely over a month ago now (time flies when you're sequestered), that a friend in France sent a link to an article, along with his own commentary, stating at that time the triage priority in some locations in Paris had them deciding not to offer ventilators to those over 75 or 78 years of age, based on limited, or anticipated to become limited medical gear..

Other Docs (some) elsewhere (US) saw fit to reverse that prioritizing in triage or treatment, offering the ventilators to the older, more vulnerable patients first.

Two mink breeders in Brabant have discovered corona-infected minks. The animals showed various symptoms including respiratory problems.Investigations have been launched to determine the source of the infections. Because the two companies in Milheeze and Beek en Donk had a few employees with symptoms of the coronavirus, it is assumed that people are infected with animals.

Minister Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality has immediately announced measures. As of today, a reporting obligation has been introduced for mink farmers, veterinarians and persons in research institutions. If there are respiratory problems and increased death in mink, this must be reported to the NVWA (Dutch food agency), the ministry reports in a statement .
On both farms - with a total of about 13,000 animals - animals and manure are not allowed to leave the grounds. It is also advised not to walk or cycle within a radius of 400 meters around the two companies.
According to the ministry, previous research has shown that ferrets - which also include mink - are susceptible to infections with the lung virus. For the time being, RIVM does not assume that mink infestations pose an additional risk to public health.

If the breeding of animals to kill for their fur ceases to be a viable business model in the wake of this pandemic, then one imagines that the wives of rich men will adapt, after the usual bouts of requisite griping, to wearing any of the high quality fake furs already on the market, to those charity balls and black tie dinners.
