Whats worse, a bunch of drunken folks or a bunch of stoned people. We must be a dangerous bunch by the way they act.

Agreed. I would think the People's Republic of Boulder would be a much more cannabis friendly environment than Denver.

Does Boulder have the lodging capacity, parking availability, event space? I would think even if they did it would come a muhfkin' PREMIUM. $$$$$$

Hey guys, I have a serious question here. Is it possible that everything going around about cutting down your buds when the trichs turn amber is wrong? How do we all know for certain?
I am bringing this up because I am totally confused by the lab results I got back from the Frost Bowl. My strongest (what I THOUGHT was most potent) was the Black Jack...But it turns out that the PCK had the highest CBD and THC9 etc... That plant reached over 50% amber in early September. I just let her grow to watch her turn more purple. I didn't cut that plant down till November 7th because of snows.
That makes me wonder if we aren't loosing a lot of potency that can build even after the trichs turn??? Who knows maybe our altitude changes the conversions in the trichs??? I am just trying to wrap my head around this confusing point.

How about Breckenridge...Should be winding down the ski season about then???

Even smaller with less space. They definitely couldn't handle that amount of people. Would be a cool location though no doubt.

Colorado considers ‘Organic’ certification for marijuana

Colorado considers ‘Organic’ certification for marijuana

DENVER — Colorado lawmakers are considering an organic-type certification for the state’s most famous crop: Marijuana.

Lawmakers and regulators have been clamping down on outside substances found in marijuana, typically pesticides and fungicides used by growers to control mildew and insect infestations. In Colorado, many growers use the description “organic” to market their products, even though they aren’t certified organic — or even necessarily produced that way.

Last year, Denver health inspectors seized thousands of marijuana plants grown by a company calling itself Organic Greens, even though the company’s owner admitted to using pesticides on his plants. Health inspectors also forced multiple recalls of pesticide-contaminated marijuana products over the past several months.

A legislative committee will hear a proposal Friday to create a new type of contaminant-free certification system for marijuana. Organic certification is generally overseen by the federal government, and since the federal government considers marijuana illegal, marijuana cannot be certified as “organic.” The proposal under consideration instead creates a “pesticide-free” certification program that growers could use in their marketing and labeling.

I'll be going again for sure if it happens. I only go to buy seeds, meet the breeders, and nerd out on the tradeshow stuff. A lot of the scene there reminds of what I would think of a Juggalo gathering. I want to scoop some packs from the Brothers Grimm drop provided the packs aren't obscenely priced.

I tried to get the ball rolling on something like this but was told a decisive no from the powers that be because of TOU violations. I would entertain Instagram as an Icmag extracurricular....if need be.....

Yeah man , I go for the exact same reasons. Really weird to me that anyone would have beef with us folks meeting up outside the keyboard ?? Perhaps some sort of IG ic side deal for interested parties ?

Same here on HTCC, scored some great seeds last time and got to meet some really cool industry people. Even though it's a total madhouse it was still a lot of fun. Nice looking flowers there Dankwolfe, welcome to our humble abode!

wouldnt be a problem if we regulated it exactly like we do tomatoes... shut em down and make it easy for em to be replaced....
leave everyone who is at home alone altogether.

The underling problem (or part of) is they are growing the same cuttings, if those cuttings are prone to molds, they will always be prone to molds.

How long will it be till the next recall?
