The underling problem (or part of) is they are growing the same cuttings, if those cuttings are prone to molds, they will always be prone to molds.

How long will it be till the next recall?
Every few months since most dispensaries hire "head growers" whose main qualification is a degree is business management, or even better, people who ran gardening industry businesses and think that they're experts in a species they just met a few years ago.

I love people who want to turn Cannabis plant sales into a home depot like nightmare, they make me giggle.

Thats funny...

Home depot sends a lot of bugs home w unsuspecting purchasers.

On another note...
I saw somebody say HTCC was going to be in Pueblo. Uugghh!!

Does anyone have any inexpensive ways of getting rid of russet mites? A friend of mine about a block away confirmed them in his indoor grow. He has the money to overnight fungus MET 52 and Netherlands predatory mites...About $200. I thought the little black spots I saw on the floor of my grow room was just dirt from messing around...But am starting think I also have a new problem. I am dead broke right now. Feb. is insurance and tax month. I need a cheep solution fast.

I've heard of people using these mites to get rid of Broads. I would tap Seaf0ur on the shoulder to hear what he thinks, he knows a lot about beneficials.

I tried using Met52 for root aphids and wasn't impressed but wasn't the most diligent. With the cost of the Met52 I would choose the Swirskiis over that in hindsight. The Met52 in the liquid form is a really oil concoction that you wouldn't want to use on flowering plants at all.

met 52 is a fungus. It'll continue to spread and inoculate the soil with spores... in the predatory natural world there is little in terms if instant gratification... generally mixing a few predators or modes of action is best and things take a bit of time... you will NOT get rid of russets/cyclomens/broads in flower as they'll hide inside and under calyxes.

Swirskii's are a good option and its nice to see them coming down in price a bit. They're not susceptible to diapause, so they can be introduced in winter, but yet they tolerate very high temperatures as well. They're polyphagic, so they can survive on pollen in the absence of prey, so give em some... its cheap and they'll get their populations up much much faster.

If you plan to go a chemical route, a main part of the issue is the common overuse of avid/forbid for everything... then you compound that with ineffective application and you get resistant mites as well... there are 3 chems that will work. kontos, pylon, and phantom.... kontos is quite potent and is systemic in both phloem and xylem so it does work well, but I would clean everything up, until the point where you can take untreated cuttings and start over from scratch... no telling how bad that shit is to actually smoke... you'd basically veg it out while spraying, trash a veg and start over with clean untreated cuts and veg those...

remember, anything chemical that is soluble in alcohol/butane will also be concentrated
On a personal note, I think its really fucked up when assholes overuse shit like this and eagle20 etc..
and then they concentrate that to 5000% past the point of failing pesticide tests in their hash.

These cost almost as much as his Netherlands shipment. I wonder if lady bugs would control them. The state actually infests half the state with russet mites intentionally to control some type of weed. I honestly am not seeing any damage to my plants from them??? Azamax did NOTHING to slow/stop this.

Oh, yeah, How much do they charge for this HTCC???

You can get 25,000 in a 1 liter bottle for 57$. Shipping is a swift kick to the dick as well so make the most out of 1 order. $80 or so bucks might sound like a lot but so does losing a crop in flower. It takes money to make money right? I do hope you get your problem sorted out though Doc, we're rooting for you.

ladybugs will not control russets in any effective way.

also... live insects + customs usually takes enough time where you get corpses... I have anyway, or cannibalized remnants...
which is why I chose someone in the US with what was a quite competitive price and good selection compared to their alternatives

All I do indoors is keep a few plants in struggling veg till I can clone them in March. I don't have lights and stuff to let anything Flower indoors. I am about to kill a NYCD because she just will not quit trying to bud...been trimming and fighting her for 3 months. I have enough seeds to kill that one and survive...I probably have about 200 NYCD seeds.
I need to set up a new soil base/mix and start adding some of these things...The nematodes look like I could use several types of them. I just cheat when I know the plant is never going to be smoked...and I don't make hash...I don't know how and refuse to loose another QP till I watch someone who knows what he is doing live so I can ask questions.

I thank-you for the good wishes but I don't really sell my weed so there is no money to make...That is why I am scraping and scrounging so desperately. I only find bad karma from looking to weed as a source of income...It always ends badly. So I just sell enough to a few close patients to cover my costs. But as my costs go up I can't really get more money from them. All of my cancer patients have died. Most of my MS patients have moved, retired, or died. There is almost no-one left that I would trust.

I have this beast, took a Tahoe OG, crossed it to a SFV, ended up with something that looks more indica than a GDP, and grows like the old school baseball bats we used to see in high times, the entire plant is a cola, top to bottom, whether I grow to 3 feet or 5, with minimal if any sidebranching.

The buds are insantly dense and sticky, with a purple and dark green tinge, all attempts at training the plant have met with minimal success, from bending during early life (and scrog of course), to topping, to actually gentle separating smaller stalks from the main stem and then holding them in place with clips so they grow sideways.

What shall I do with this strange little mutant? Zero negative qualities other than this aberrant growth pattern and a slower veg, i'm thinking it might be a candidate for SOG setups, but most SOG setups rely on minimal veg, and a strain like this wouldn't lend itself to that.

Currently calling it Smurph's OG, thinking of just making it Denver/RockyMountain/MileHigh/Colorado OG so that it pays homage to the region where I bred the original cross and obtained the genetics to start experimenting.

Duckmang can attest, the testers i'm giving out grow like something you used to see in magazines in the 90s, donkey phalluses for days.

91% iso @ 1 oz per gal of water with spreader, essential oils, wettable sulfur
that's what worked for me, happens to be all pretty cheap (def could get all 3 for 200$)

RE: cup in pueblo
sure im not excited to go to Pube-town.... but hotel rooms are prolly a bit cheaper, and less anal about use.
this all ties into the consumption issue NOT being worked out in legislature (or law enforcement causing users problems in denver)... im sure some permit ws not issued to HTCC, or some red tape that the city/county of denver put up that HT didn't wana fuck with...
remember that the first cup in MI was in FLINT....

I've been thinking about all of these issues that the state is going through. Just think about all of the issues that will be created (not if but) when it is legalized at the federal level. Things like who can work in the cannabis trade, further restricting employment chances for people. Then they are going to want to add their TAX. If they tax things as heavy as the state has we can expect at least 50% or more tax being applied.

They can't tax what cannot be accounted for.

That's why I grow most everything, cannabis, I consume. (Gotta try samples from time to time, hype checking n all)
I also grow lots of vegis in the summer months but my canning game is weak af.
I really need to improve it now that I have so many jars.

I also save heirloom vegi seeds that I harvest from my annual crops. Flowers too.

Seeds are more precious than gold!

Hype Checking gets old quick.. Most of the time it's like how in the hell is this the new fad... People must of had some shit before to think this is the next best thing.

But then again most are chasing dollars and not the high.
