Garden of the God Buds!

Snagged a few of these God Bud beans from a friend to try out and wanted to put up a few pics showing progress at around 40 days flowering. These were vegged about 3-4 weeks, with the tallest now standing at 32 in.​

5 Gbuds under a crappy old 400 watt HPS bought from Graingers in 2002, used to light warehouses, but still working pretty good. Really need an upgrade to 600 watt, I imagine. The reflectix wall covering helps a lot, but I'm thinking a 600w would help considerably.​

Gbud #3, My favorite of the group. Really like the way the buds are stacking up on the main cola and side branches are curving up close and filling in nicely.​

All 5 plants are starting to show quite a bit of purple on the leaves, especially with the cooler temps this time of year during lights out. They all are carrying a delicious skunky funk aroma that seems to strengthen daily. These are some F2s that were grow a few years ago and I was told that the original pack was from BC Bud Depot. Never bought anything from these guys before, they don't seem to have a great reputation from what little I've found in the few threads covering this strain.​

Was wondering if any one else has grown this strain and can give info on their experience with God Bud plants.​

I might be interested in the sfv og pollen.

Was a limited batch unfortunately, SFV mother was on her last legs, so I isolated her and put her through a natural hermaphrodization program with no chems or colloidal silver, if you run into a cut you'd like to generate pollen from, just HMU, i'll give you the blueprints for my Rubbermaid breeding pods.

Great Job Keif!

Hey thanks Tex.... my first time with this strain. If it smokes as good as the smell, it won't be the last. Not a single problem to this point. Started them flowering under CFLs and spent the first 3-4 weeks there and then to 400w hps. I think the bud weight is a little under for that reason. Hoping they will fatten up soon.

Def lots of indica in those!!! As far as I know Bcbud depot godbud is close related to what I have going.... supposed to be a pink hair pheno in there! I dealt with them on my original wakeford order. As you've found mixed reviews.... I've found seedsman to be great, and have ordered 2 times with no hiccups!!

Grew BCBD God Bud a few years back.
Hope you like heavy indicas cause that's what that variety is. I like being coherent so dropped it from my runs. You can say she'll make ya sleepy fo sho.

Don't write this in stone but I've heard 150-200 per unit hand trimming. Somebody more in the know will hopefully chime in though.

Last I've ever heard mentioned was like 200, 150-200 sounds like a do able rate.

I remember reading an article about Trim for hire companies popping up in a recent article from Marijuana Venture. One of the companies mentioned was Green Mountain Harvest. They do hand trimming. Another outfit mentioned was Everything Harvest but they sound like more of a rent the equipment and operators company for large scale outdoor grows. You might be able to search for the specific article at http://www.marijuanaventure.com/ I recommend this magazine and also mg for good B2B magazines to read. I believe you can pick them both up for free too if you tell them that you are a Canna business.

I have this beast, took a Tahoe OG, crossed it to a SFV, ended up with something that looks more indica than a GDP, and grows like the old school baseball bats we used to see in high times, the entire plant is a cola, top to bottom, whether I grow to 3 feet or 5, with minimal if any sidebranching.

Just thought i'd show a bit of what I was talking about, these leaves aren't even fully grown, just so large that they absolutely need to be pulled, nug shots tomorrow.

Bigger than your average leaf for sure. How tall was the plant and its age that it came from?

2.5ft tall plant, vegged for almost a month just to reach that size, insanely slow veg times.
