On the legislative calendar coming up:
all events at the CO capitol 200 E Colfax...

Tuesday 7:30 am LSB-B Audit board hearing...
Tuesday is Marijuana Patients at the Capitol day (no bills relating to cannabis will be heard, but you can come glad hand with the get along gang, or better yet offer a counterpoint for patients.)

Tuesday the 27th is also the meeting of the Joint Budgetary committee to discuss "items that need further legislation" - potential discussion of the sunset of SB10-1284 medical marijuana regulations.

Wednesday the 28th
HB15-1007 Singer's "local" Tax bill 1:30 pm LSB annex room.

Tuesday feb 3rd
HB15-1036 warn Prenant women of "dangers" of cannabis use. 1:30pm room 0107

Thursday feb 5th
HB15-1090 Retail marijuana impacts grants 10am-ish, room 0107

There is currently NO re-draft of 1284 scheduled, BUT the deadline is this FRIDAY and they are gonna SNEAK it in and hope we don't notice... I'll be posting info here as soon as it comes to me.

looks like holbert and hill will be introducing the 1284 sunset redraft sometime later this week, that is the "rumblings" I'm hearing from the capitol.

also

the "audit" committee is already nearly against this bill, because it knows how poorly of a job the state does with it's other forms of regulated industries, how poorly of a job the state is doing with the EXISTING regulations in 1284, the thing is sunsetting now and the state isn't up to it's end of the bargain (what it set out to do regulatory wise in 2010 when hb 1284 orginally passed)

so if ANY Of this makes sense to you call the members of the audit committee; EXPLAIN to them why our rights to medically produce "adequate supply" is important, why caregivers are important. the biggest problem is that these asshats DONT KNOW SHIT about the cannabis industry OR the cannabis plant (seriously newbs on icmag are more informed). These people are politicians, not grower or members of the industry.

lucia guzman is very reasonable and understanding and imo could be a big help.... i've spoken with her several times both on the phone and in person, also her aide was very helpful and nice last time i was at the cap.

So I was in the grofax over on colfax... next door I found a small pipe shop.. (its actually accessable from inside the grofax where their used equipment used to be.) I gotta say, they had a nice variety and really good prices. they're having a 20% off sale, and I picked up some new glass... these were only 19$ each...

I know who they buy pipes from. :)

If you knew the wholesale cost of those pipes you wouldn't have said they were a good deal. :)
