With 2 deep cell matine batts $108ea@ orielleys auto.. i can run my cpap all night and charge my phone..wAke up at 5:30-6am start the tea bubbling..then pump or move water to the small hoop. when light hits the panel about 11:30am I'm nowhere near 50%..its upwards of 60-70% still.
the 90w panel spins the small hoop snapfan and charges the battery bank to full within a few hrs of direct sun. where it sits now i get direct sun till just before sunset.. battery bank topped off and ready fpr nightime. we can run lights and music untill we go to bed..so it sure as hell beats the genny..which is a quiet one..but its just on standby now..

I'd be stupid to not set one those solar power rigs up. Any chance u have a material list?

Your garden is looking bueno!

sweet pictures! i like the horizontal remesh trellis. im glad your season went so well, a lot of experience and planning went into that.

Schrews i was inspired to do that sunset pic by you..lol..
at my old place we put in a permanent trellis 4x4" fencing 5, wide. we ran it in rows 30' long at about 4' high angled to meet the sun and slope..like horizontal grapes. i liked those they were permanent but i had access from every angle. terraced down hilk plants 15' on center downhill and 8' apart horizontally..it worked really well. it was also a much steeper hill.
now every plant gets a cage 3-4' around..some have a horizontal trellis as well..most have trellis net draped, zip tyed, and grown thru as well.
i have been glad to do this post all year and more than stoked tofollow yours as well...cheers

For big d

parts list basic solar setup

1-90w panel..bigger is ok.
1-100amp charge controller
1-400w inverter(tailgater)
1-roll 25' romex 12/2 wire
1-battery connector kit w/colored heavy duty cables
1-pair wire cutters/strippers
2-heavy duty extension cords(to get it where u need it)
1- spot with lots of sun within extension cord range of where u need power..

since most of us garden in a lot of sun these little setups work well in and around the rural garden scene

Also the panel should be 12v.. and wiring the batteries is simple but very spefic. wiring one way makes it 24v wiring the other makes it 12v..many charge controllers can do both voltages..but my inverter was specific to 12v.. so its positive to positive negative to negative..this creates one big 12v battery...
there are many quick easy tutorials on wiring basic 12v systems on youtube as well..
hope that helps..

Just reading around last night and found some great back n forth between tom hill and chimera on genes strains and improving through breeding or breeding for clones...over in the breeders labortory title everyone's a pollen chucker...great stuff..i encourage anyone making beans to get over there and check it out...two senior members views on breeding and genetics..different opinions..tons of science..and a great read..respect to both of them...check it out icmag viewers...

The whole of norcal is bustling..people everywhere. permanent emcampments of trimigrants and homless panhandlers everywhere. many new accents and unfamiliar languages..now different subgroups have broken off trying to seperate themselves from the pack. if your establishment has a parking lot there are emerald triangle migrants there..they are on every other turn out on the highway.
the panhandlers look just like them but have no interest in labor.got a call from the neighbors last night..pack of trimigrants just set up camp on the far corner of the property. grabbed the truck and my helper and we went up to see if it actually was on my land..a guy a gal and three dogs..he was from ukraine she said minnesota but had a foreign accent as well. car read "ran out of gas please help$$$" in thick grease pen on the back winshield.
i asked them if they had indeed just ran out of gas..they replied "its just a sign we use to get money for gas" i explained to them the importance and personal safety issues regarding not trespassing in the triangle in the fall. let them know it was only 4-5 more miles down the rd. to the national forezt and they are free to do what they wish there. they were polite so i told them to be out and cleaned up by first livht..they were gone by 7am and left no trace..
frkn nor-cal on a friday night in fall...

I see many on here are done already..damn..you all must have some early sht or some big bills due/late. typically cannabis isn't ready till right about now through the 20th. og's,sours, gsc's all not finished yet. with so many being finished already trimming i gotta wonder. when i see perfectly cylindrical cone shaped buds i think to myself "damn 10 more days and it woulda been perfect"
And we have the weather this year..last yr it rained..years past froze or snow..but this year perfect dry finishing weather..we usually wNt the buds to surpas the perfect shape of the berthas sis in the pic above. og n gsc will lump and crown out. sd will foxtail a bit and crown as well..perfect round thumb nugs with no lumps are immature in my experience by a week or even two.
in the words of a friend of mine " we finish late round here.let em go all the way" they weren't even expecting to need help till the 20th or so..
patience rules this endgame here..and where others are almot done trimming we haven't even started...
