Here's some pics of the solar power rig I'm using for all things such as bubbling teas, charging phones, running my cpap machine, ect...
there is one 90w panel. it gets direct sun by 11:30am. 2 deep cell marine batteries.. one charge controller100amp...and one 400w inverter..this is more than enough to handle basic needs..

Time to big leaf.. some folks do and some don't..here's a bit on how and why we do it here at collective meds..
there are 2 closely related reasons for doing this type of thinning/pruning.
first is sunlight. the more flower sites that get direct light the more thumb sized nugs/tops you will get. littles really add up if they get light on them.
...the second is airflow..where there is good light there is good airflow. this increases size and quality as well. it also reduces many problems associated with poor airflow. I've included some before and after pics below...

When big leafing we take out all leaves which point back towards the mainstem.
secondly we take all leaves which cover or shade out a flower site directly. and lastly we pull any sickly ddamaged brown or yellow leaves as well. as we turn the corner into october we need all the light and airflow we can get...more pics soon..

Best thing about using good seeds is when you get a great large beauty and the feeling that comes with knowing u got cuts off her..tropical dreams..i got lucky with her and bertha..i only picked 5 to take cuts from in the fourth week of flower..all five were winners..
tropical dreams (pinya-x-blue dream)
True Pinapple haze (pinya-x-pinya)
High Mountan H.O.G aka Bertha (Pinya-x-Barker Valley Deisel)
Z.K. Burmese (Heirloon Zenia Kettonpom Seed)
Jelly Bean O.G.(T.C.Sour Dog -x- G.S.C.)

All the seeds were/are great and high quality..I'm soo thankfull i got cuts of those

For most of the season we watered tea in from above via gravity or hose with one to two clear water rinses via drippers in between feedings. scratched in ammendments every 2-3wks as necessary. .we ran 90% our own seed and cuts. looking super positive. just one more feed watering and flush flush flush...getting close.

With 2 deep cell matine batts $108ea@ orielleys auto.. i can run my cpap all night and charge my phone..wAke up at 5:30-6am start the tea bubbling..then pump or move water to the small hoop. when light hits the panel about 11:30am I'm nowhere near 50%..its upwards of 60-70% still.
the 90w panel spins the small hoop snapfan and charges the battery bank to full within a few hrs of direct sun. where it sits now i get direct sun till just before sunset.. battery bank topped off and ready fpr nightime. we can run lights and music untill we go to bed..so it sure as hell beats the genny..which is a quiet one..but its just on standby now..
