Tirich Mir Experiment

Ok zam, et al.

The Tirich Mir experiment  Aims to replicate the effect of melting glacial ice upon soil hydromorphology in a controled micro-climate.

Mossad on ice...

Outsider on ice...

Now we is having fun again... lol :biglaugh:

Very slow melt on the glacier,,, outdoor temps are still low... lol

Next time the glacier will be hand crafted in advance... higher if possible :D

Tirich Mir Experiment +4/5 hours

slow melt...

the water courses into the valley below :D

the mossad will get a better watering (or is that 'icing') next time... if not it will die of drought... lol  Underglass so early they hold their own. the enlightenment we've recently gained means we can confidently play and learn once again, in the old fashioned way... :chin: ...secretly hoping for male Chitral or Mossad in this bucket.. that would be nice

Good work Dr. I am very proud to take part even if it is just my opinion that I'm contributing. Do you have a control group? How are you rigging this up for outdoors when you transplant? With the results will you test dried flowers resin yield and quality I assume. Huh, huh huh? Lol Please excuse my enthusiasm That's really cool with the glacial ice. If there's anyway I can help let me know.

heh, Doc, I can see you're having a lot of fun with those pieces of ice. Simulated valleys and all...for seedlings :D Very interesting thread and I love the research you guys have done. I can get Pakistani black hashish anytime here...it's pretty darn good stuff, although the quality can vary from excellent to absolute rubbish. I've never had Indian charas that was better than the Paki stuff I get here, though. Goes for about $120 US an ounce :) Black and brownish/green on the inside. Very soft and fragrant -

The smell of the Pakistani charas reminds me of the pure Indian sativas I grew out last year - I didn't end up making any charas, though, as I was far too paranoid to rub on me plants at my guerilla grow location. Personally I prefer not to smoke commercial hashish because I'm scared of additives - I prefer organic outdoor buds. :)

EVERYTHING is under GLASSHOUSE

1) this is a test of new soil mix and ice water irrigation. the 'control' is another Chitral' in a normal substrait, given normal feed (bio-bizz grow, iguana juice blooom).

2) They sit in situe. the x3 (chitral, mossad, outsider) will be fast flowered (under natural light) in the same bucket they grow in now :D

3) other than your expert knowledge (please keep it coming), how do you want to help zamalito??? you wanna give Chrital (Nirvana) a grow in a stoney/freedraining 'outdoor' substrait ??? (always thinking hydromorphologically...)

The Three Musketeers

Aramis (chitral), Athos (outsider), Pothos (mossad):

Needed to add additional layer of organic (peat free) compost to the bucket.
Coco fibre provides little support when dry (poor water retention) and so on,,,

the mossad and outsider are hardy strains,, they could handle the extreme  but the Chitral wasn't happy

structure suggests that the Chitral and Outsider are female, the Mossad will be male  "pon ya learn ya grow..."

Yeah arno you can't tease us with a post like that and not give more info. (Snicker snicker) how many generations removed from region of origin is it?

Hi doc,

these seeds came from mriko,i grew them in 2003,i grew the Laspur Gold and Yarkhun,
Yarkhun is near the Chitral valley too,if i don't remember bad,it's a river name

these plants were a pleasure to grow, very healty, very nice with fat leaves,i had no luck with the Yarkhun, all turn male, the Laspur is a nice smoke, fruity with a nice hash touch, but i can say no citrus at all...the potency was middle,a good day smoke,i think it need a good selection to find a good mother
In my area the weather is very wet,and i harvested her with full of mold, this plants like very dry climat
