Can I Help U Free Yourself from Tobacco?

I wish I could quit. I'm 24 years old and I feel like it is already killing me. I have smoked cigarettes since I was 13. I think it's time for me to quit. I need some help guys. I can't do it on my own.

Grow yourself 3 month supply of joints, some fine honey oil, and some nicotine patches and your on your way. In the end, its your choice.

You want to quit using tobacco, it doesn't matter how you use it, you are still using it. It has to be up to you, but no tobacco means no tobacco. Three days, you must be itching to stay on, the first days are the worse, but if you are still smoking tobacco with a little weed in it, then you haven't quit.

You are right Joe, i want to quit, so no tobacco in my joints. As i said, i´ve been smoking out of my bong since saturday (i don´t smoke bongs mixed with tobacco), but wondering if i could smoke a joint, which i didn´t. So technically i´ve quited.

I´ve got cravings, you know, but as i said now i can breath, and that helps me to stay away from bacco.

Mountain Bud, I wonder if you are into the beginnings of emphysema. :( If you noticed a big change that fast your airways must have relaxed. You may be allergic to tobacco causing a constant inflammatory reaction. You may do as you wish but I suggest that you try pure cannabis joints. If you can obtain my sour bubble it seems to work very well for tobacco addicts trying to stay away from tobacco. It even smells a bit like tobacco smoke in the room and a joint smells like a cigar.

Bog, i´ve noticed a big change :(.

This is my history as smoker. When i was 15 started smoking hash-weed/bacco mixed joints. 17 and i was smoking pot on a daily basis. 18, started smoking cigs. 19, i was smoking tobacco on a daily basis and joints.

22, my father got diagnosed mouth cancer. He was a very kind man, had lots of good friends and everybody loved him. He was a smoker. We were big friends and this almost destroyed me..

Too hard to explain.. My chest began hurting as it never had hurted before. Smoking seemed to help, so i smoked like a mofo. Then it didn´t help no more and pain was stronger, so i did alcohol and other drugs. Soon nothing helped. My nose was hurting, i was diagnosed a small ulcer in my stomach... Saw some light and stoped doing drugs as they wasn´t helping, but kept my nicotine adicttion. My father died two years later.

I´m 26 right now and i´m worried. I´ve been coughing very hard every morning for the last 2 years to clean mucous that builds up in my lungs and trachea. I´ve just searched for emphysema, and you could be right, i´ve got some symptoms as Bronchitis...

shroomologist, first thing you need to know is that you CAN stop smoking. You need to stop thinking you can´t. You can do it bro ;), keep it in mind. You need to tell to yourself that you CAN stop smoking and that you DON´T need it anymore, everytime you want a smoke.

^^(This works bro)

Steel Savage should be coming to tell you his story. I welcome him as another brother in this human condition.

Dances, you be honest dammit! You made a promise now you go be straight up front and when you feel the shame and you turn red let that be a lesson. My father had a cancer removed from his lip once and after having this done he was in for a follow-up at the Dr.'s office. The Dr. caught him in the waiting room smoking a cigarette out of the side of his mouth and said, "stills smoking huh?"

My father had pride and felt stupid. He didnt like that feeling and he never smoked again so it can help to face our shameful disgraces. But Dances dont feel bad cause I can't throw stones. I haven't the willpower or determination my father had and I have sinned many times. we just cant drink if we cant control ourselves right? So you make that choice. BOG :) I love you all and I know that we can beat this shit!

Yes Kim...My Lifesaver beans are choice but this isn't a commercial... Good Luck to you Kim.

hey everyone SteelSavage here.i read the thread from front to back and was really inspired by all the brotherly and sisterly love out there.
my life as a smoker began at 12 , by age 15 i was smoking full time between 1-2 packs a day.when i hit 18 i quit for 2 years following a very cold bay area winter.
anyway at 21 i started up again i dont know why!@#$%?
I'm 30 yrs old now have a 7 year old son and married to a beautiful woman who wants me to be around to see our son grow up .
I find it extremely hard especially in the morning to drink coffee without a cigarette so i started drinking soda for awhile.
Thats what makes not only this thread but the creator of it so special , there is a huge support network of people that really do care about the livlihood of others. thanks for your support and help through difficult times , remember , we are not alone.

Hey Dances. Don't get too down on yourself about the slip up. Just continue with your effort to quit. In my opinion though I would tell your daughter. Being honest is really important espically when it involves your children. I think she would have a greater respect for you knowing that even though you messed up you still respected her enough to be honest. Hope all goes well.

I'm still having a hell of a time with these cigarettes. I know I can do it, but it seems tough right now.

For awhile you will smoke more pot but you could buy a good vape. That's a healthy choice and they are fun too. :)

Today is "The Great American Smoke Out Day" and it is a great day to quit. If you quit today you will be allowed to have many other things besides tobacco.

First of all you will have the respect and admiration of everyone who knows you. Except possibly from your still smoking friends. If they are friends then you should be able to ask them not to tempt you by smoking around you if they can help it.

You will have pot to smoke and even nicotine to help you manage as long as you dont chew or smoke or snuff it. Lozenges or patches are ok for as long as you want.

So please please I beg you. *BOG Kneels and Crys* "Oh please, please, pretty please with sugar on top" :) Make the right choice today.

Now this will help you too...Tom Pass the Doobie has taught us in the Chanting Growers Group thread in the Growers forum that chanting can change us and our world with almost no effort. To fix everything just chant this and know that this is the basis of reality itself.

When you feel weak just say, "nam-myoho-renge-kyo" say that several times a day for a month and see how your life takes a turn for the better. Know that when enough of us chant this our new age will become reality and peace will reign. BOG

I quit smoking yesterday after getting my habit down to like 2 a day for the past few weeks. I dont even know why i started smoking them i mean they dont get ya high and they just damage your lungs.

I think there is a high when you start tobacco but it is a cheap dizzy high then some stimulant. People often think tobacco relaxes but in reality that's just a relief from the anxiety caused by the addiction to the nicotine.

When you feel the urge for tobacco reach for the good herb and say this aloud several times. "Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo" and use this power phrase to fortify your spirit. It works and if you chant this for a month several times a day you will see more success in all your endeavors. BOG :)

Let me know at 3 months MsGrateful
