I heard the facts MS. Grateful mentioned

I heard the facts MS. Grateful mentioned

But, did you hear the part about how they did the same thing with filter cigs in the 60's? True were touted to be safer but they weren't as has been shown. The Eclipse they have now in study uses a vape unit and is really a safer cigerette but why use it?

This is the part I heard that blew my mind. Kent had the "micronite filter" specially designed for the health conscious smoker. The reality of this filter was that it was made of Asbestos fiber.

For this reason we should remember to use the organ in our heads when we choose our poison. BOG

Trichome Farmers Bubblehash at the 420 cup. When used in a water pipe this is a clean and healthy smoke...

Vaping works too but at least this product is mostly thc...

Oh Mr.BOG please don't take what i said as me meaning fact.. It is what i saw on TV,.. it may be true that the study showed the Eclipse to be safer somehow, but i am a natural skeptic when it comes to such things.. Not that i am saying that the study on the Eclipse is wrong (i dun't know that), but I do believe that if people that want to prove a point can influence studies, polls with manipulations and half truths.. so.. like what you said, "we should remember to use the organ in our heads when we choose our poison. BOG" .. Why even use it.. :D

Its been 7 weeks and two days now without a smoke I think I got her licked. Still get the urge to smoke every once in a while but it passes so easy now. I didnt realize how bad an ashtray smelt till last week haha. I guess Im starten to get my smell sense back. And for all use who have just started to quit keep it up and think of the damage it does when you smoke.

GOOD LUCK KIM:D

I don't think anyone sees the need for a safer cigerette anymore because while nicotine may not seem so bad in itself it is a lot worse than THC because it is so addictive. It is in fact a stimulant and an overdose of it is similar to strychnine poisoning but I think I already said that before. This thread has been around a while now. ;)

Kim, I am so happy to hear you at 7 weeks. Now start running and you will not believe how you start to feel. :)

Kaus, the 3rd day is probably the worst one and if you can hang in there it gets better. I swear it does. Are you using the patch?

We all need our friends cause living is rough. When I get down I just have a fantasy about my harem. I bet ya can't wait to hear my fantasies!! :D

Fantasize how the naked ladies will smother you when you smell of no tobacco and have muscles on your dick like Arnolds arms in the 70's. BOG

the ladies will just have to wing the fantasy thing... ;)

I do notice the change in my lungs and I seem to have a lot more energy, man havent felt like this since I was young. I think I can honestly say Im a non smoker now haha. Wow

Wow

First let me say, BOG you seem like a cool person to chill. I hope to meet you some day and pick your brain for a few hours over some buds

I started smoking cigarettes when I was about 20. I quit soon after and started again, stress related. Anyway, I'm 24 and I have been 2 months without a cigarette so far and I dont miss it. I play football(soccer) and I need my lungs(especially for indoor season). I quit doing a lot of things. I grew up I guess. I only smoke cannabis and I don't do it that often. I mean I smoke daily but not all the time. I take a personal in the morning before work, go to work all day, come home and do some work around the house, get something to eat and then sit down and smoke some nice buds.

On holiday though....I smoke from sun to sundown and everywhere in between. As one of the greatest musicians of my time said, "I smoke two joints in the morning, I smoke two joints at night, I smoke two joints in the afternoon it makes me feel alright, I smoke two joints in time of peace and two in time of war, I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints....and then I smoke two more."
-Bradley Nowell
Sublime-Smoke Two Joints

PS- that's 16 joints a day because there is always peace and war somewhere everyday.....or he smokes two joints BEFORE he smokes two joints...AND THEN he smokes two more. Thats 6 joints x5 times a day(morning, night, afternoon, peace, war ;) ) equals 30 joints a day....now that sounds better on holiday.

PSS- hey Public School system and colleges in the USA....SAT and other standardized tests are crap...I got a 1050 on the SATs and I figured this question out because it related to me.

EDIT: I am really stoned right now if you couldnt have guessed. :p

My wife and I are getting ready to quite. We are gonna try and set a date in a couple weeks and do it together. With out question cigarrettes have to be the worst habit. We have both had plenty of other vices which we quit with no problem eg. drinking, pain meds. Dont wanna do it anymore don't do it, but these damn cancer sticks have to be the worse. I still can not fathom how cigarrettes and alcohol are legal while cannabis is not. I know this will be a hard journey but I hope with the help of my wife and all of you I can say goodbye to this habit for good.

Marijuana = proven medical value=Jail

Cigarettes and alcohol= Death= Legal

Don't they realize if they made cannabis legal , commercial growers could donate to their campaign funds too.

I swear this country is bassackwards. lol

Good luck to everyone on the quiting challenge

Good luck to everyone on the quiting challenge

Im clean nearly 12 months now i think.

Just got to do a bit more excersise to offset the little bit more food i tend to eat while quiting cigs sometimes(add that to the munchies while stoned and it could be dangerous :)

There are better drugs in life to give your health away for besides damn cancer sticks imho.

Tragic1 i totally agree with this point you made, so damn true.

if you smoke to long and have asthma or even with out asthma you prob gonna end up on a nebulizer like me. i have to do it 3 times a day. i was doing it 5 when i was smokeing cigg's.
after 6 months im down to 2 times a day. if i dont smoke any hurb i only need it in the morning when i wake up.

so like i said i eat & vap all that i can.......... just think in one week at a pack a day you can buy the power inverter. and after a month or 2 you can buy your self a valcano and not have to smoke hurb any more :)

Go go go

Go go go

Kim, Rez, all of you guys/gals who have quit, way to go! I'm so glad I never got that habit. Inhaling pot smoke is bad enough without all those extra carcinogens etc. tobacco piles on top of it. Not to mention the addictive qualities of tobacco.

Keep at it, there's not one single positive to smoking tobacco other than the satiation of cravings. You all smell better and look healthier from where I'm sitting!

wow you guys are making me want to quit!Im 28 and been smoking since I was 15.Never really thought about quiting until now. Maybe after my first big harvest i will quit;)
