FYI, I did not vote for Hillary, you as usual presume a lot....
Not really surprised, after your twisted NO on prop 64 logic.
I will stick to Prop 64 discussions, to keep from making a flame war. (and Gypsy asked)
What I say will not change who people will vote for president anyway, they are both wacky to say the least.
I did vote YES on Prop 64.

I voted for Trump and voted no on 64.
( and no; I don't like Trump)

I will never forgive anybody for voting Clinton.
The DNC is currently full of the most disgustingly corrupt ; anti liberal ; propaganda spewing sociopaths our Nation has seen in a very; very long time. They robbed us of Sanders ; and now I will do my best to rob their party of any success; as long as I live.

Clinton and Soros deserve Prison; I will be damned if trash like that get another round of stealing our Democracy ;)

Anybody that believes Clinton is less a threat to the US and the world; pays scarily little to International Politics.

but hey Sam; support this right?

http://www.marijuana.com/blog/news/2016/10/clinton-gave-thumbs-down-to-legal-marijuana-leak-shows/

"The newly-leaked documents showing Clinton’s strong opposition to legalization in a private appearance, combined with comments from the candidate’s daughter Chelsea last month implying that marijuana use can lead to death, could present an added sense of urgency for Clinton to evolve on the question of ending prohibition prior to Election Day. "

haha!

kind of like how she opposes the TTP; fracking; mass incarceration; weapons deals with terrorists; etc..... but privately.... supports them all!

Reagan?

The lying criminal actions of Hillary Clinton make ronnie look like a saint.

Would you leave the country if Trump wins along with all 5 states legalizing marijuana? Not that it makes much of a difference I was just a child under Reagan and I have fought the war on drugs since I was 15 years old nothing is going to make me tuck tail and run. I think people who love drugs should be moving to America not the other way around prohibition started in America it must end in America first. I mean unless we can get rid of the UN as a whole though it does do some good unlike the War On Drugs.

I personally don't think the next president is going to change a damn thing though Romney has been a Senator since at least the Iran Contra scandal people like that are our problem even if Johnson wins Congress can override anything he does a president does not have much power without the rest behind him. Congress certainly ain't going to let Trump build a wall it will be overridden by Congress it's not going to stop drugs you can buy a drone at Walmart. Lol

Yes on 64 because no one wants a 100 dollar fine for 1 gram or 28g.....on another note Has anyone seen the SNL trump and Hillary skits on YouTube. I was laughing my ass off watching the three debates and some other trump "locker room talk" stuff. I think in real life these candidates really act like they are portrayed in those skits.

so now real numbers on how many folks get arrested (with a % of them most certainly going to jail) is "scare tactics" ? suppose you refute NORMLs numbers instead of denying the reality of the situation - people DO go to jail in California for weed. sorry if the truth hurts your widdle feewings...

Do people still go to jail in Colorado for weed? Washington? ORegon? The question is, how many of those arrests would happen after prop 64.... and how many more will it create.... seems obvious but I guess any chance to throw big numbers around. .. that's scare tactics.

We do grow great weed just as good if not better than California. I also grow plenty weed enough to do a good 7 years probably more. So I welcome the deal because they can't and won't stop me either way I was selling hard drugs at 15 years old I have a lot of friends and the only enemies fear me. Uncle Sam can suck my dick I ain't scared of shit. I know what I'm wishing for do you? I would have robbed you at gun point just for selling weed back in the day. I have chilled out a bit but I still own guns and I'm not a felon so I can carry guns legally. I also own land and have a house and can make as much money as I want.

It's a chance to no longer be an outlaw I'm looking to come out of this bitch like Joe Kennedy.

When you sit down at the poker table, do you show everyone your hand pre-flop? The only reason you're still around spouting this shit is because you didn't try and rob a guy like me for selling weed....

It's not a scare tactic, it is a correction to the false claim that in CA people don't go to jail for cannabis.

Big difference.

The No crowd claimed no one goes to jail for cannabis in CA so there's no need for auma, to which we replied with the numbers and facts.

Lets keep things in context please and avoid sideway arguments.

the number of felonies is not the same thing as the number of people who actually did time. nobody has posted that info yet.

also am i incorrect in stating that under prop 64 one could still conceivably get a felony for weed?

"The number of marijuana prisoners has held more or less steady in California since the height of the drug war in the late 1980s, despite the passage of Prop. 215. There are now over 14 times as many marijuana prisoners in California as in 1980. This does not count federal prisoners, such as Dr. Mollie Fry and Dale Schafer, Bryan Epis, Eddy Lepp, DC Costa, Virgil Grant, Kenneth Affotler, Luke Scarmazzo and Ricardo Montes, all of whom are serving mandatory minimums of at least five years for medical marijuana.

Altogether, the state held 24,959 prisoners for inherently non-violent drug offenses at latest count; 8,587 of them for simple possession of controlled substances other than marijuana."

Yes, under auma you could potentially catch a felony or end up in jail, but won't be because of cultivation, possesion or use. But for tax evasion or dealing without a liscense, like in many other legal industries.

Under auma, lots of people who caught felonies for cultivation, possesion or use can get pardoned as well.

Can't see what's so evil about that...

that contradicts this post:

who to believe?

What you quoted is talking about possesion of small amounts. Bigger amount found you get charged with intent to deal. Etc... no contradiction there, just gotta read what's actually written.

...so under AUMA you still get in trouble for dealing without proper paperwork, just like now. except the AUMA licenses will be way more expensive than a 215 rec is currently.

Apples and oranges.

Liscense under auma is way better than under 215 for so many reasons that only someone who has not read auma does not understand.

Can't spoon feed you every single bit of info, it has been weeks since the thread started and you still have not read auma but you are so sure what it is about...how does that work?

Can you legally sell to recreational users under 215? Didn't think so...

IBogart, wow look at that long list of cops saying no to auma. Interesting.
