Butte County

seems like folks would rather pick and choose which rights they respect. Those provided in prop 215 or those in measure a. Interesting human psychology at play here.

Ha! Tankerton I don’t even know what a “burner” is but thanks for the suggestion.

Yes4Prop215 I live near a different couple of idiots than you are referring to. I read the ER letter that woman wrote. It amazes me that the anti-mmj crowd has all of the sudden turned into environmentalists. These are likely the same people who support fracking whole-heartedly.

On 7/29 the ER included an article about The Worm Farm in Durham appearing on a TV show called “Blue Collar Millionaire” which is a series on CNBC that focuses on people that make lots of money getting their hands dirty. You know what the good folks at The Worm Farm attribute their success to? That’s right… mmj farms, quote from the article “Proposition 215 passed a few years later in California, which opened up a whole new world for soil amendments for use in home marijuana cultivation.” Article link http://www.chicoer.com/general-news...llionaires?source=topstoriesrot#disqus_thread

Just another example of mmj creating business and jobs in Butte County which is something the county can’t seem to do on their own.

Funny when I talked with him this year while getting my dirt for the season he said he has never had a higher demand for his soil then this year. He couldn't even keep up with demand. Wonder where all that dirt is going.

The cold creek distributor in butte was too scared to order a single 50yd truckload despite 40yd being sold. Glad someone is moving dirt, CC distributor set me back weeks claiming it was coming.

Should have went to the source. Usually 5 or more yards and it has been free delivery for me. He even brought it up to forest ranch for me at my new place.

This article was published on 4/08/15. Eric Holder resigned his post as US Attorney General (and went back to the law firm he worked for defending BIG corporations before becoming USAG) and Loretta Lynch was appointed in his place on 4/27/15. I haven't heard her views on prosecuting MMJ cases as of yet but hopefully she will take the directive outlined in the letter to Holder.

Lmao why don't you just do it. It's a great idea but often in find my ideas to happen unless I personally make them happen. I bet prop may like to collaborate with you though. But idk you think they check the addresses at all? It might be pretty easy for CE tto punch in the address real quick and get some owner info and history. Maybe do a few tests somehow to see of it works before you invest too much time. Park down the street and see what happens. Keep the camera rolling incase you catch CE violating their rights too. Might be able to get some new allies like that.

NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL?!?!!? exciting! Fuck dude in seriously thing the political scene is going to be dramatically different next spring, for the good or worse idk but we gonna find out!

If anyone is filing complaints, the top butte cattlemen assoc. Members can be found in the comments here: http://ucanr.edu/sites/anrstaff/Divisionwide_Planning/2014_Call_for_Positions/?propnum=3276

I'd like to get a website setup where we can collaborate on sending complaints, with a db full of measure a supporters/abusers and eventually get it down to just click, print and send, with the form filled out for you and all you need is a stamp. If anyones actually iinterested, let me know. This could easily be done

I'm extra interested but I don't have the computer skills to work. This seems like something the PAC or some fund we have set up should pay for. I have time and some money. Who has the computer skills?

Ok yeah don't make a website or anything but the complaints can be handled in a purely anonymous fashion.

The back end is easy, finding people willing to invest in a stamps and printing is what I'm looking to gauge before I buy a cheap laptop. Its been a few years, but, in my greyhat days I was half decent at tracking down people.

That's a really dumb idea that can all be traced

There is nothing illegal about it, let them trace it? It's dropping a letter in the mail. How many innocent people have had their rights violated over measure a? Its equal opportunity treatment to those proponents.

Its completely legal to report them, after all, ones reasoning may be that they supported measure a to get rid of competition.

come on guys focusing on fake checks is not gonna win the war here….it has to be on a totally different level. more support, more money, more pro marijuana propaganda, more effort to make the big moves that count, like recalling BOS and getting a war chest together to put a new initiative on the ballot and preparing butte county for 2016.

its a hell of a task though as we see over in yuba, lots of work involved, lots of infighting amongst the growers, and strong opposition from local farming and religious groups…and the county itself will put up a huge fight to keep measure A in place, just my experience dealing with development services has been a anxiety inducing shit storm. they are openly discriminating against property owners trying to come into compliance. they are making life very hard for people trying to pull permits related to measure A citations. advice to folks here, hire a mechanical engineer first and make sure all your stuff is up to code before going to development services because they will nitpick every little detail. even if your already up to code, they will say your not and require you show proof from engineer.

most growers right now are focused on self survival and doing anything they can to get their harvests down, cash in and get out. its sad but true…I'm so busy running around trying to stay above water that i am missing out on alot of political action stuff. and i think about leaving butte county and CA in general almost every single day. but i still want to fight this kind of oppressive bullshit. lets get a good framework together for a plan of attack once the funds come in, we have plenty of time to set the groundwork while the buds ripen.

saw CE headed north today up 162, but no sheriff escort. has anyone seen them with escorts now or do they have sheriff riding shotgun? i also saw a weird plainclothes old guy at development services recently, blue polo shirt but had a badge and gun on his hip. he was at the counter speaking very loudly about marijuana and how he's going after some guy who has a 5 acre parcel and subdivided it into 1 acre parcels to get around the sq ft limits. didn't recognize him from any of the county website pictures, almost looked exactly like the yuba county guy.

The site would be username/password protected, names would be divided up so 10 people aren't reporting the same person and time stamping of last complaint filed to track when they need a revisit.

I know my opsec. :)

We need a multi lateral effort, we don't need to focus on single court cases and single lawyers swaying anti 215 judges. This is a blitz. We need to pull out everything.

Showing them how much money it is going to cost them will hurt them in court. This is a 8 hour coding job, I think people are reading too much into it.

if i was to do the complaint thing, i would only submit one or two at most on a single property. flooding them with a dozen + complaints on one spot might look kind of suspicious. they have to blend in with the regular stream of complaints so that they think nothing of it when they head out to go hassle someone.
