Just signed up here after reading all the butte posts. Been running 99 for years in butte, never so much as a visit at front gate. Friendly with all neighbors and they would never complain. Low and behold the code team keeps putting notices for Inspection warrant on my front gate and wont stop bothering our property. Frustrating as hell, and have joined up with others at the previously mentioned attorney in this thread and fingers crossed that one day my property in Butte will be able to grow medicine again one day. Happy to join the discussion anyway.

99 eyh. And we wonder why they want these bs restrictions. 30 wouldn't be enough right.

Thats Not fair at all. Just because you think that some magical number should be 30 and that suites yours and your collectives needs don't hate on someone else for doing 99. We have a shitty ordinance mainly because we live in a highly conservative, highly uneducated part of california where a small minority are against marijuana for religious and moral reasons and the louder they yell the more the feeble listen and the other half just doesn't vote. Negative statements like that only feed into the oppositions arguments. We play within the system. Its not growers faults that California lawmakers haven't come up with reasonable regulations that the community will accept. Actually I'll take it one step further. All of this is their fault. They have had 20 years to come up with something that doesn't violate prop 215 and regulate the industry. Places like Humboldt Mendo and Trinity run thousands with impunity while we run 99 because that is what the feds original cutoff was and it is usually the cutoff for central valley/ sierra foothills farmers before local police determine it to be criminal. Also if you think that 99 was bad you have no idea how many people are planting hundreds and thousands in the woods, on public land and on absentee owners private land now that measure a is here.

Welcome Chopper!! get your posts to 50 so you can send private messages. IF you have any questions in the meantime feel free to ask. Butte is coming together even if it starts with the individual. The attorney told me she had 74 calls from Butte County farmers yesterday alone. Stand your Ground, Refuse Inspection, Request Warrant, Retain attorney, Finish season, and get involved to restore our rights.

saw code enforcement this morning on swedes flat road too, exiting and turning onto forbestown.

a few hours later the fire started.....wonder if someone thought starting a fire would delay his CE visit lol.

Joe continues to fuck us in yuba! He isn't even responding to the county themselves and even the judge is pissed now!

I'm really close to the fire, got ashes raining down on me as we speak, not the first time that's happened.

Yep, as soon as harvest is done it's time for multicounty federal appeals court. We need to hold on to our medical rights cause legalization will fuck everything. AB266 and I think it's 243 are being pushed through, there will be no vote and they will be valid and in place for 2016. The 243 one will bring in calfire, fish and game, forestry and wildlife, and create a water board that will regulate water usage for mmj growing! AB266, well I'm sure you all know what that ones about.

The compassionate and sensible access act is are only hope! Signatures have already been started gathering for proponents. If you have a group of people who have no fear of the IRS or having their name on the front lines, we could always use more proponent signatures. I can put you in contact with the people that can get you on the proponent list to get it filed so we can start qualifying it to go to 2016 ballot.

There is no way those bills get passed if we file a multi county federal lawsuit.. They become toxic when it becomes common knowledge that they lead to widespread civil rights violations due to local control

Yeah bit that's a Senate bill not a county nuisance ordinance and the idea is that they are using that as framework to regulate recreational.

AB266 will be passed any day now dude, it's already happening. Mayne they will take it back after we raise fucken hell this winter. Start hyping up as many people as you can ablut federal appeals. I've been reaching out to other counties through instagram and pushing the political knowledge. All we truly need is money. Every county takes care of their one designated local lawyer and we all pitch on the federal appeals lawyer. Let all the local.ones sit cocouncil for all I care I'll pay each an extra 2k for each court date just to see the team assembled in the court room

I'll push eric and Brooke to do it. The actual.people who signed the paperwork need to file the complaint. Whoever you guys have in butte that fits that description should file a complaint too!

Once the courts order the cases joined into a class action all the retainer get joined together minus filing fees. She isn't going to make anything until she has success, she knows this and she expressed to me as such. It's all right that she is busy because that means the county is just as busy and that's only measure a bullshit they have tons of other cases unrelated to deal with.

Damn really she thinks they'll "order" it to go class action? Why can't the lawyers just charge their hourly? They aare going to be one team not a bunch of individuals. Idk what that means in the court's eyes though lol

Thanks Tank,
Keeping all paperwork in view, folder and sign on gate, and holding on. Thought about throwing up a greenhouse to keep out of view, but sounds like its just a run and gun from code guys anyway, hitting all the gates they can with notices.
Anyone had success with greenhouse and laying low?

Plenty of friends had gates left open, posts tore down, really frustrating.
