tamara mossbarger signed a few warrants too, these are all home grown judges who will do anything the county wants them to do.

tankerton they gave the oregon city properties forewarning of warrants? thats weird, they have been rolling up in oroville without warning at all. if tim torres signed the warrant that is fucking crazy, hes the lead code enforcement officer who has been doing alot of the warrants. they might send out the white guys to do inspection requests but torres is showing up when the sheriffs come deep.

fisher- agreed 110% oroville is one of the worst places ive ever had to live, but than again it aint India (anyone seen the latest vice? lol)

the foothills are beautiful, but i can find alpine trees in another county. fuck this town, we gentrified the place, i dont bring any body up here who is remotely close to the methed out trash in the flatlands.

review my posts in this thread. I have dropped several nuggets.

i can forward those cases to my lawyer to check out, but zeke was doing the same thing, citing case law to defend his loony tune statements. im not good at interpreting cases and how they could apply to measure A so maybe i can have a paralegal or jeff look at it. or if you have a secret method that will fix this whole thing than please PM lol...this can help ALL counties some kind of lawsuit that could crack Fresno would help Butte and vice versa.

we are already discussing the possiblity of hiring a new lawyer but it takes a ton of money and we are still looking for more people to help.

Regarding the permit issue: you can talk with any number of decent real estate brokers/agents and they will all tell you that the county's accounting for permits was half-retarded up until the 90s. Alot of properties built before this time won't have permits in their files, but the county knows that these structures exist and as such show up on the property tax roll. Tankerton is correct that engineers can go in and sign off on existing structures being built to code which is as good as being fully permitted.

Fisher you should reach out to a good broker/agent and they will let you know with relative certainty if yurts are permittable. Also would be interesting to look at your property tax bill and see if they've been taxing you for a structure.

Stop by AMPM off the 162 anytime after 10pm and you will quickly realize what a massive shithole Oroville is.

^ kinda how i feel right now! they are wasting all that fuel to fly empty gardens, its almost comical.

i got some good pointers from the Yuba crowd on how to get records of information on how much they are spending to enforce measure A.

next BOS meeting is june 9th, but dont know if theres any measure A related stuff. their agenda for last meeting shows nothing but LOTS of expenses holy shit. butte county is burning through cash like crazy, 3.2 million alone to some mental illness institute, another million + to various halfway houses and doctors, etc...

also says they got 350k in supplemental law enforcement income from some 2011 grant of some kind, but didnt say anything about measure A.

I love the signs when i roll by brownsville area heading up towards forbestown:

"Join the Butte Sheriff's Posse, we are in need" we need your help to make butte county a better place...

That's just what Butte needs, more volunteer conservatives with half a brain getting a fast-track course on being a police officer.

First, you get someone who's not qualified.

Second, someone who likely isn't going to know/or abide by code and conduct(not that the officers are doing that anyway, currently.)

Third, isn't it awesome that Butte county is having problems with employing enough officers, even though they have been issuing raises and higher wages for new officers, yet the Sheriffs are wasting the few resources they have on code violations... I feel like Butte County has so many REAL problems everywhere, it would be cool to address more of those. Not gonna knock on butte, because Ive met some awesome people living there (few), but the REAL crime rate per capita is astonishing.

And like stated above, no media reporting. So strange.. I wonder if there truly is some logic behind these awful decisions.

damn mad lab il have to look out for those signs!

thats why i seriously think that most of those guys are volunteers, because no way they passed the physical test.

its just fucking crazy, we have a conservative volunteer police corp of ignorant bigots going around enforcing their will with guns and warrants. its a bad dream come true…

i want to cut and run from this county so bad now, so torn on what to do.
