Drinkie was working at a McDonald's, and they started paying every one $20 an hour.
They ended up cutting everyone down to less than 20 hours a week.
Impossible to get by on that.
right, ive seen the signs at some of these places, what are you doing to bring$20 worth of value to the table?!
/not throwing shad on drinkie
$20/hr used to mean you earned it or worked to get to that position
but i guess minimum wage is the next big investment and you can get rich$$ working entry level jerbs

and to round out the hijacking, im reading a book called shadows on the rock* about early canada, quebec in particular
/i just skip over the french parts

is that hot and sour soup?!

Yep. I usually get wonton, but this one has more flavor. What's best is the two mixed.

Just heated up my leftover Mexican takeout from lunch. $15 after a $2.70 tip. Kinda nuts because I'll be in Mexico in a couple days.

It doesn't make sense to go to fast foot anymore. The Sonic combo I got a few weeks ago was more than my last 2 decent lunches. I can still do McDonald's with the app and keep it cheap though. We got a couple Big Mac's with fries and a drink for like $10 a few days ago.

No, just a regular shredded beef burrito with cheese melted on top, but I put the lettuce and tomatoes they gave me on top so it kinda looks like it.

I don't like Sonic either, but every once in awhile I'll go there. Their cheese tastes funny to me. I'm in the foothills of Denver so there's lots of good food around depending on how far I want to go. Denver is only 30 minutes away. There's some pretty good food in my town, but down the hill has everything. My family loves Freddy's so we go there sometimes. They have decent food, but its not my favorite burger place.

We're going to Playa del Carmen for a week. Planning to take a ferry to Cozumel and check out the beaches there for one of the days. Supposed to be some of the best diving and snorkeling around. I'm temped to go diving but my wife isn't certified so I would have to go without her. We're going to check out the snorkeling first and if I really want to go I could but I probably won't.

I already got a list of food places I want to go to down there. I just plan on eating, drinking, and chilling. It's the first trip we've taken alone since we had kids. We've always included them in everything. But they're both over 21 now so they can stay here and take care of my plants, :ROFLMAO:

Hell ya. It's going to be fun. Our flight takes off in 14 hours. I've only been to Tijuana, but that place is a shithole. The best burger AND fries I've probably ever had in my life is at the Skirted Heffer in Colorado Springs. That place is awesome.

I miss Dick's Drive In in Seattle too, and Larkburger was probably the best in the Denver area but they closed. Cherry Cricket in Denver is good too. They have a dartboard you can throw at to choose your toppings if you want.

make sure you got your banana hammock and sun screen packed up
/ i hope you and the mrs have a great time
that skirted heifer place looks pretty awesome
i like their take on the burger and it looks like a decent place with great prices
we have some decent burgers here in san diego but the prices are getting stupid
/ one place we used to like was slaters 50/50

turns out they have a location in denver, but it just seemed like it their prices are out of control and i am not paying $20 for a burger

Thanks. We will. That Slater's 50/50 looks good. I'm definitely going to check that place out. It might be a little cheaper here since it's not CA, but everything's getting expensive.

2 egg omelette with sauteed fresh organic white button-top mushrooms, wilted organic baby spinach, uncured beef and ancho chili with white Mexican cheese sausage slices, grated Jarlsberg Swiss cheese, raw chopped sweet onion, raw slices of (HOLY FUCK THAT'S HOT!!) jalapeno peppers, and a slice of buttered Keto multi-seed toasted bread.

With the usual freshly ground French roast coffee with 40% heavy whipping cream, a plum seltzer water, fistful of Rx meds and supplements, 5 tokes of my stash of the now-deceased California Indica, and a 12-0z. North Coast Brewing 'Old Rasputin', Russian Imperial Stout @ 9.0% abv.

Loading up a snowmobile shortly to head to town to have a $100 key programmed to replace the spare key I had but can't locate, then shovel snow into the barn where the sno-go's are typically parked on stickers/narrow dunnage.

Looks like partly cloudy/sunny skies, light winds, and a high in the lower mid+20's f. Lots of tasks backed up on the 'shit that needs done' lists.
