probably not, thats the worst part. in other counties like the triangle it will be flood season as usual and plus the native americans are really expanding their production since getting the green light from the feds.

Imagine a legalization bill that had a clause where, if it passed, medical is off the books.

This isn't too far off, as in WA they are arguing that the state is losing out on mass amounts of tax revenues bc the states medical laws are so lax that most 'consumers' simply get there recc and then have access to the low price easier access medical scene. This is of the destruction of the medical scene up in WA. They want ALL cannabis sales and production in the state to be in the heavily taxed recreational market.

I truly pray 215 never gets amended or rescinded in Californias rush to legalize.

I feel bad for you guys. You have gone from being regulated by the cops, who have other things to do most of the time, to being regulated by bureaucrats, who have nothing else to do. Of course, in the end all of the politicians, from the lowly school board member, all the way up to the president, are being told what to do and they have no choice but to obey the guys at the top. What are the big boys trying to do here? My guess is clear the competition so the crony insiders get the protected skim and cash flow. This is the way things operate out here on the streets. Welcome to our world. It sucks.

i was just in nevada county asking about their grow limits, i thought they were still allowed 25 per parcel but was informed at the grow shop that they have sq ft limits in place as well. for parcels under 5 acres you are only allowed 100-200 sq ft, the largest allowed growing space is 1000 sq ft on 20+ acres which is still tiny.

ALL butte county properties are only allowed 150 sq ft right now regardless of parcel size. they also banned collective gardens, which means that 150 sq ft is only enough to supply one patient at most. so unless you grow your own, you can't get any meds either, because dispensaries are banned in the county as well!!

its utter insanity and a true violation of the constitution and prop215. and this is what psi haze supports lol, he is no friend to the marijuana movement with his attitude condoning this.

East of the 5 has always been much more conservative. No surprise that as soon as they saw a way to pounce on 215 they would. The glory days are setting, but we are at the dawn of a new era.

Septic tank squabble costs planning commissioner his post

PARADISE, Calif. -
On Tuesday, the Paradise Town Council removed Michael Zuccolillo from his position as planning commission chairman.

Zuccolillo, a real estate broker, was given a citation for occupying his new office building on the Skyway while a septic system was being installed. Zuccolillo was given a citation, but says he was given verbal assurances that it would be permitted.

According to Zuccolillo, one of those who gave him the green light was Town Manager Lauren Gill.

"I've done other projects in town where verbal assurances were okay," said Zuccolillo. "I never thought I needed to get this in writing."

The Town Council's attorney investigated the matter.

"We've contacted the persons who allegedly made those statements," said Dwight Moore, the town's attorney. "They said they never made those statements."

Zuccolillo thinks politics was a factor. He openly disagreed with members on issues like narrowing the Skyway and Measure C, which raised the sales tax. He also lost narrowly in his November bid to become a Town Council member.

Right or wrong the town of Paradise hasn't heard the last of him, as Zuccolillo says he plans to run for town council again.

I grow maybe 30lbs per year and I want everyone to have the opportunity to do so, not just you and a few of your friends. As I said, I can grow 10x more meds with Measure A than with Measure B.

you know whats quite ironic, is that psihaze literally voted to stifle his own growth and development. for example, if he got his shit together and decided he wanted to grow a larger garden, he pretty much voted to ensure that he couldn't expand. he wants to be breeder, well any real breeder would know you need to grow 100s of plants in the largest area possible to do real genetic selection. how stupid does someone have to be to vote against their own business expansion! he pretty much declared that he never has any intention of growing outside his little 150 sq ft box. glad to see he is banned, what a whack job.

on a sad note, yuba county just voted to ban outdoor gardens as well. hope my homies in that area and in butte are doing OK and can make it through this bullshit.

This guy ain't worth your time or energy prop, clearly he enjoys shitting in everyone's oatmeal and there's no common ground so let him go kick rocks and play in his backyard.

Your scene is looking good tho, stay focused on that. I'll be out your way in a couple of weeks. Would be nice to link and knock one back. I'll pm you.

it must really suck to be you. all that jealousy, all that hatred towards growers who do it bigger and better than you. i bet you would be quick to snitch and complain to code enforcement if you knew where i was. your character says it all, your posts laughing at growers getting busted due to measure A, your constant complaining that you couldn't grow as much as the 40 acre guys, your such an irrational moron its not even funny anymore.

keep dreaming lil guy, maybe one day you will get to this level and understand the level of hard work and risk it takes to be a REAL grower…

You should find a new attorney, he's been up in Alaska talking mad shit on California growers and sharing pics of your garden on Facebook. That guy is the biggest hypocrite I've ever seen. As soon as you posted that pic of your indoor I knew I recognized it

I've decided to pull the plug on this property and the greenhouses. in the meantime i will just let my cold frames sit tight and am in the process of closing on a new place in a new county to put them. fuck Butte county if they want to kick out all the revenue il be happy to leave, i will take all my tax dollars and economic stimulus with me. sad day in my grow career but i see no other option this could be a blessing in disguise, i have to pursue other plans of actions i cannot just stay put and expect to battle measure A every year. I intend to grow commercially in CA and i still have time to set up a new garden site.

oh yeah and fuck you psihaze, anybody who is pro measure A and announces so publicly will be automatically banned and is asking for a black eye if we ever meet in person.

still got a 40kw on the side to keep me busy, investments and diversification is paying off!

My first thought was also to move on but there is no guarantee a similar measure wont pop up after you dump a ton of money into another ''friendly'' county. I figure might as well just go for it and risk the $500 fine.

this is true but if things are as bad as they sound then its still probably better to just relocate, even if your new county changes their laws next year at least you got one season in. it sucks and definitely cuts into your profits but if you can afford to do it then find a better spot
