Whip-it! Premium is the best overall imo for being clean, clear, and as sweet as they make it out to be on the can...I also would expect the quality to be consistent due to whip-it's backround in gases

a little N20 wont hurt anyone..or whatever they put in those things.. I see your tests but what makes you really like it over power if the test results are higher residuals?

Bummed to see the power5x on the shit list! Been using it for years. Along w tuns of peeps out here in co! At least one shop in twn has been dumping masters @ $200 for quite a wile. So it's tough to drop the extra dough w/o these #'s to back it up.

My homes has been doing commercial processing w a propane/butane mix? Seems sketch to me so iv been opting to process myself n backyard blast.

Sitting on 2masters of the power5 in wait for the capital N results!

The Power 5X is fairly clean for Korean, better than Vector! None of the canned butane is a health concern when used to extract BHO, but there is a vast difference between brands, which isn't reflected by price.

The Korean canned butanes also can be categorized as having a yellow tint, and an industrial smell.

It would be good to find out what it's residues are, if you ever receive any. Can you tell us the source of water that you've been using in your experiments? Tap water could leave mineral deposits on the bags and effect the results, so RO or distilled water would probably be best.

No water, bag picks up a little visible condensation on the outside, which I first wipe off by sandwiching the flattened bag between two washcloths before vacuuming the bag down to -29.9" Hg twice.

The PURTANE tracking shows I should have it today, testing asap.

I can't find a way to purchase London!!! Lotus is a huge can (222g!) of excellent butane made in England, is it available?

I've just re-read your first post and all is clear now, SkyHighLer. I missed the bit where you stated that the dish containing the bag is placed inside a larger dish containing the water.

Yes, Lotus is available here in the UK.

London is available online from the UK based Am..zon but I'm not sure if they'll send to the US. The prices are much higher online than in the shops here though. We have pound shops here in the UK where everything is sold for £1 ($1.64) and some stock 250-300ml cans of London butane, which is a bargain!

Everything's the same except the manufacture date on the bottom and they added a sticker on the cap that reads, "NEW FORMULA NEAR ZERO IMPURITIES." The guy with master cases in Texas is where I got the old lot with odorant/mercaptan. I don't know if the guy in California has master cases, definitely verify the manufacture date before buying however you get it, as I'm sitting on a case of crap I don't even know how to dispose of properly, lol...

Sky, all of these results and info are appreciated. I wouldn't have considered using whip-it premium before reading this, didn't know they had butane. Have you given it a try yet? Anyway just getting to this thread. I can never really get used to the idea of any contaminants in concentrates, but at least you can try and use the least amounts possible.

Whip-it! are a brand associated with whipped cream dispensers and chargers, so it's odd that they're now manufacturing butane refills. You wouldn't want to charge your whipped cream dispenser with butane! lol

EDIT: Scratch that, I once came up with the idea of modifying a whipped cream dispenser so that it could be used for pressurized butane extractions.
